I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and went to a Pool Hall on a Friday night at 11pm to just see what it’s all about. I came here only because husbands coworker was having a birthday party here and wanted to shoot pool and also have smokes. FYI: if you’re a non smoker like me and do not enjoy the smell of cigarettes, then this is not your hangout. Fast eddies allows indoor smoking which is a huge no in my book. Really made me appreciate the majority of businesses today having the norm of «No smoking» Otherwise, the visit was fine. Husband and I walked in and we realize oh, maybe we’re going to get carded? Which we did. It helped our self-esteem, and also probably was policy to card everyone but ill take it as a compliment on my youthfulness. When you walk in as a girl, you’ll just know that this type of place is super Male dominated and just guys world galore. There are many, many pool tables on both sides of the building so you’ll be able to see lots of people having a good time. Digital darts, punching arcade game, and hunting game were just some of the other arcade fun stuff to do. Some couches for comfortable seating and even got to see the grill/kitchen area and found out you can order food. I went to the bar to get a drink because the waitress we have comes around and can disappear for quite some time. Sounds very busy but she was very sweet. Sat at the bar and waited, and waited… and waited more just to order my eastsiders cider. 4.25 so not too bad. The wait could have been better but I suppose they’re just slower and always busy. All in all glad I visited, but won’t be going out of my way to head back. I smell like smoke and need some fresh air away from all the second hand smokiness!

I am a smoker so the smoke doesn’t really bother me although the tables could be serviced more often and the wait staff sometimes doesn’t come around as much as they should overall I’ve been coming to this place for several years and have only had three or four bad incidences. I do have to say the drinks could be stronger especially on Sunday nights.

A manager talking down to an employee in front of the customers is absolutely horrible! You can tell she is new, he is even referencing to it, yet treating her like shit. A good manager would of handled that privately and been nice about it.

It’s been a while since I came to this location and it seems that some of the great service I remember has changed. Pros… — one of the few locations in the area that has dart boards — large area of pool tables — large seating around the many TV’s and the bar Cons… — smoking is still permitted here and I think they need to work on the ventilation because I smelt like a heavy smoker when I walked out — the dart boards need to be repaired/replaced(steel tipped ones) — my waitress sometimes had to be found so I could place my order Overall, I enjoyed my time while having the chance to play steel tipped darts. My waitress was very cordial and sweet, when i could locate her, but in essence I feel I should not have to look for you to place my orders sometimes. She could have been covering another persons section, but I am not sure. I may come back here, but most likely not. The quality of the environment has gone down since the last time I was here a year or so ago. The stained carpet, the smokey air, and the feel of being«dirty» detracts from some of the enjoyment I remember. If you are looking for darts, this is one of the local places to come. If you are looking for good steel tipped dart boards, bring your own(like the group next to me), because theirs need to be replaced.(I didnt play the sof

If you want to shoot pool, have cold drinks, good food, AND do NOT mind cigarette smoke then by all means, drop in. A friend hosted a gathering here and I must admit to having a good time. It would have been great but for the smoke. My hair and clothes were saturated with it after I left. After spending a few hours here it made me truly appreciate the ban on indoor smoking, sorry to all my smoker friends. The service was good but ugh the poor wait staff had the saddest little outfits that looked super cheap and were not that flattering. That said I do not have a penis so take that last comment for what it is worth.

Sunday $ 4 cover, and half off drinks… sounds like a deal right? No heck no! Margaritas suck and still $ 10 for 2 drinks. Not even got girls for this price??? Heading to perfect 10

So far I like this place. Lots of TVS at almost every angle and tons of different games all over the place. Didnt really like the cover charge at first, but the half drink prices make up for it at the end. Had a blast playing darts. We went in a group of four and had so much fun watching football, playing games, and having a few beers.

I don’t have the time to write, nor you to read all the things wrong with this place. So here’s a quick list: cover charge(for a pool hall?), HORRIBLE waitresses, even worse music(don’t get me started on the«live dj» which is just a guy with a laptop and what I assume to be pandora), poorly made drinks, and one of the least competent managers I’ve met. Stephanie actually complained about the music on the jukebox and having to put in a bunch of money to play her songs first. Problem was, they were my songs so I ended up wasting money in the jukebox. Basically, there’s other pool halls. I recommend going to them. First round is on me!

Although my opinion is a bit biased, I will definitely say that Fast Eddies in Round Rock is a pretty decent establishment with a great group of regulars, and a wait staff that works consistently well with new and old patrons alike. Their pool tables could be better,(hence the 4 stars) but the fun and friendliness of it all makes it an awesome place to go to get a beer and watch the sports of your choosing, albeit a fight or a football game. They have great specials affecting their entire platform. A dj on Friday and Saturday spinning up a storm. Theme nights every now and then where the ladies entire staff dresses up. And pool and dart leagues almost every single night to help you stay entertained. When it comes down to it, if you enjoy great staff, decent tables, LOTS of TVs and beautiful women. This is no doubt the place to stop by and enjoy. Ask for Vanna, Deanna, Teresa or wes and enjoy a fantastic night.

First, I’m older and have been playing pool off and on for more than forty years. As pool halls go, Fast Eddies is par for the course today. I keep dreaming that one day I will find a Pool Hall where the owners really care about a quality billiards experience. But alas, all of them are focused on making money(which is necessary, but no more so than a quality experience). The Pool Halls I grew up in were dominated by hustlers, smoking was an accepted norm. They also had large brass spittoons for those who preferred to chew instead of inhale their tobacco. Very few women attended and if they did, they usually sat on the bench, miserably bored, waiting for their boyfriend /husband to get his fix. The number one irritant I have with Fast Eddies, as with most modern pool halls, is lack of focus. They have walls of TVs, darts, computer games – it’s not a pool hall, it’s an arcade. Very different from what I grew up with. The halls I frequented in my youth were focused on POOL and SNOOKER only. No darts, no tvs, no booze and computers didn’t exist. Everyone came to the pool hall to play pool. It would be wonderful to find a pool hall which was the real deal. Serious players. Hustlers welcome(you can learn a lot from expert players, hustler or not) and no eye candy sports. Eric’s used to be the most legitimate pool hall in the Austin area. Lots of serious players used to go there. Allison Fischer played there numerous times, Belinda Campos was a regular and lots of hustlers waiting to take your kit. But, like most pool halls, Eric’s is no more. What a pity. At least, for a while, we had a genuine, hard core pool hall in Austin. Fast Eddie’s, Slick Willies, Buffalo Billiards, bring the kids… blah, blah, blah. Not what I’m looking for. Of course, I play at these places, because they’re all the same these days and pretty much all that is available. But, I’m older and as times change so do the expectations of customers. The game of billiards is a very fine excursion into the world of plane geometry. There is so much to the game that you will never learn at places like Fast Eddies or any of the other popular halls today. There’s nothing wrong with Fast Eddie’s overall… well, the service is inconsistent, which means management is lax at best. I get the impression that most of the help don’t really get any support and subsequently, they don’t care. There is no synergy in this place. Employees watch the clock and patrons suffer while they wait for service. However, the tables are a little nicer than some places and they are on par with the other arcade halls in the area.

Lots of TVs, plenty of pool tables, darts; we watched a band play some friends were considering for their wedding. HOWEVER, for some reason, when I was closing my tabs(they swiped my CC and returned it when I placed my first order) the waitresses kept trying to get me to sign a credit card preauthorization receipt… when I was CLOSING my tab… as in they gave me 2 receipt papers, 1 was my bill, the other was this authorization form… It said something really sketchy like I take responsibility for all charges. I asked the waitress why I needed to sign it when they had already run my card, closed my tab, and knew the charge would be covered and they told me it was just policy. I told them I wouldn’t sign it(why should I? they already charged me!) and I wanted to speak to a manager. As soon as I said manager they whipped the weird receipt away from me and stopped hassling me. This happened twice… I wish I took a picture… All the charges on my card ended up being fine but it just seemed so bizarre to me… I’ve never even been asked to sign something like that prior to opening a tab. Anyway, we also experienced a very strange woman in the bathroom, whom my friend and I were 70% sure was doing drugs in the handicap stall… Just an all in all strange experience.

went there after work for a beer about 9:30 pm on a THURSDAY night and was told there was a $ 6 cover charge. Explained to the girl at the door that my buddy and I weren’t playing pool, just wanted some beer at the bar. It didn’t matter, six bucks. We left. Sorry, there’s not a bar in all of Austin that can get away with charging a cover to just sit and have beer, especially on a Thursday, especially in Round Rock.

Like everyone else, ITS A POOLHALLTHATALLOWSSMOKING. If you don’t like smoking, you probably don’t want to go here. Some nights, not sure which ones, but they have free pool, but they did have a cover charge, never paid a cover to go into a pool hall. Drinks were ok, nothing fancy or strong about them, service was super slow, i think the waitress was fighting with her boyfriend, who was at the pool table next to us with his friends. Didn’t try the food, as the waitress said the kitchen was closed, 30 minutes before the stated time, oh well probably a good thing. All in all, a descent place to play pool and hang out, but watch out on the costs and don’t expect superior service.

This place is horrible. We sit in front of a manager with no service for 15 min. That was about how long the gentleman sitting next to us was waiting for his food while it sat in the window ok it might have only 10min. He complains about it being cold and I over here the manger behind him say to a bartender fu*k that guy. Nice way to run a business. Lead by example no wonder customer service sucked. Boooo might as well drive to fast eddies by Lakeline

It has been sooo long since I’ve played a game of pool and I was really wanting to play! I was happy to hear that Monday nights at Fast Eddie’s offered free pool and $ 3 Mexican beer… Smoke-filled environments totally gross me out but honestly it was not that bad. A lot of people of all different ages were playing pool or darts. I think this is a low-key hang-out spot if you’re looking for something to do. For a good time, call Eddie! ;)

The new felt is great and the tables are being leveled too. They have food and other games too. Its on Parker street, same as their namesake«Fast Eddie Parker» What a coincidence. Anyway, give em a shot and take a couple while you are there.

It’s a pool hall. With smoking allowed. Go early enough for the 7−11pm happy hour and partake in $ 2 wells… Wrist bands are $ 6 to play pool on a Friday night before 8pm. Service is slow, and whatever you’re thinking about right now about a pool hall is accurate. Sticks need to be replaced… Watered down drinks… Overall, a back country woods kinda feel to the spot, wash your clothes 10x afterwards.

This place is definitely a guy’s place. Tons of pool tables, darts, video games & skee ball. The waitresses wear men’s dress shirts and barely there boy shorts. For me, it’s not my scene. They do however have decent drink prices. $ 2 wells & $ 2.50 calls til 11p on Friday nights & if you get in before 8p, unlimited pool for only $ 6. Beware though, it is a smoking establishment so you will leave smelling like a chimney even if you only stay five minutes.

Do not come here if you are a female. I’m usually a big tipper for bartenders because I completely understand the frustration of having to deal with drunk people and whatnot. But as a paying customer trying to get drinks at the bar as a woman, is literally impossible. I had to sit around and watch these girl bartenders go around and check on all the guys at the bar multiple times before even taking my order. I’m sorry. I would usually tip you at least $ 5 for my 1 dollar Special drink, but you are not getting jack from me at this point. Kiss any $ 20 tip I give out to good bartenders goodbye.
