Trash hadn’t been emptied in the rooms, the heaters smell like something is burning, and the beds are great if you don’t mind sleeping on springs. The televisions are smaller than I’ve ever seen in a hotel and the drapes blow from the heater so the window doesn’t offer much privacy. If you’re looking for a 1969s hotel that has never been remodeled this is your place!

If you are looking for an immaculate hotel, this isn’t it. That being said, our room for the night had a king bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and had signs of wear and tear. I found the air conditioning lacking. We had it set at 67 degrees all night and it was still too hot and I’m a girl who likes the temp at 72 degrees! Continental breakfast had a nice selection consisting of waffles, bread, bagels, various muffins and cereals, fruit, etc. The price was excellent as we are La Quinta rewards members and utilized our free night reward! I found the location very convenient with shopping in the surrounding area.

I stayed at this hotel for the entire week and during my stay I got bad bug bites all over my arms and legs. I suspect they are fleas or bed bug bites and when I complained at the front desk they apologized and offered to move me to a different but the same size room. There was no mentioning of any additional cost. However, after I checked out this morning I realized on the plane back home that they had charged me additional $ 20 per nite for the same size room which they moved me to avoid the flea infested room.

First off… Kim was working this night and she did everything she could to accommodate. And I appreciate her efforts and thank you to her. This is an older hotel. Breakfast does not say continental. says simply breakfast. They had cereal! Nothing else. First room smelled of cigarette! Second room not clean. Third room was clean, cold ac, and well we did get some sleep. For the $ 119 we could have done better but a softball tourney locked us in on this one. :(Disappointed in this hotel. 2 Stars only because of Kim!

If youre going to be in Austin for the F1 race expect to pay out the wazoo. If you drive 15−20min north its totally cheap. Clean room, clean bathroom and quiet area. Close enough to a bunch of the highways so it worked out well. Off the beaten path but perfect to save money

Humm, this hotel needs some renovation, it not very well maintain. I do travel à lot and frequently go to La Quinta hotels, but this one Is One of my worst.

This review is only because i know more then i should. First of all the GM is an old B*tch that should not be in this hotel. The front desk«manager» is no manager. he is very rude and if he does not like you then he doesn’t give you great customer service. This hotel has Roaches on the second floor and if you complain all they do is comp the room. Sorry not even for free do i want to sleep with baby roaches at that. It is even scarier because of the fact that if there are baby roaches there are the momma and daddy roaches that are hanging around. On the weekends rooms do not get cleaned for two days and then they wonder why there are roaches. They allow pets so pet hair usually stays in the room and is usually all over the walls and sheets. They allow smoking in this hotel which only 6 rooms are smoking but when you are in the smoking room it is bad… Erika at the front desk is AWESOME! She really goes above and beyond to help you in anyway she can. She should actually be the front desk manager. Bottom line… be sure to give your email so when you check out you can get a survey and rate them how you feel… if you basically complain a lot or for any little thing you can get a free room… but be sure it isn’t with roaches.

Spent a few summer days on business trips in the area. I was not there in the room too long as I was there pretty much to sleep. It was pretty warm the times I was there. A/C was working so I did not have to deal with the TX heat. Tho close to where I had to meet people there is not much as far as activity around. There is a restaurant next door but everything else is pretty much a 5 — 10 minute drive. There is also a couple of outlet centers in the area too.

I stayed here for two weeks while working here in Round Rock. For the price this place wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The hallways and stairs had mud tracked all over and it stayed there most of the time I was there. The first room I had the refidgerator sounded like an idling VW Bug, the second one it just didn’t work. Every door that needed a keycard to open took multiple tries to open. On the plus side there is free breakfast and free WiFi. The rooms were clean despite being a bit older. The staff was friendly.

No, never, never. I admit, I ended up at La Quinta through a misguided Hotwire experience. Basically, Hotwire considers this a 3-star hotel. I felt completely robbed. So for this part of the review, dear readers can decide whether I should just suck it up. We arrived at the hotel late, almost 10PM, with two small kids in tow. We ended up with a standard double(2 full sized beds). I went downstairs to ask the clerk if we could move to a different room with a bigger bed — double queens or a king with pull out. Immediately, she tells me that there is no such thing as a double queen(most La Quinta’s have this option) and that I can’t upgrade to an executive suite because it’s a higher rate than what I paid. I informed her that I will pay whatever difference is required to move to a king room, which she tells me is impossible. Finally, after a lot of back and forth non-communication, she finally reveals that I can move to a king with rollaway since it is the same rate as what I got through hotwire.(There would be one more star in this review if she had told me this right off. Never mind that we discussed the size of the rollout. After telling me it was«larger than a twin» to get me off her back, I find out that it is «barely a twin.» Whatever.) The king room had stains on the floor and on the bed skirt, but by this time it is 10:30PM and my kids are really starting to rev up on their second wind. We moved the nightstand to fit the rollaway bed, only to find at least three years of dust coating the power cords, carpet and wall behind it. Gross. On our second night, we came in early enough for the kids to watch a movie. The TV was straight out of 1980 with that whole vertical hold issue(where it looks like transparent rolling bars are going up your screen). When we tried to rent a move, we got an error that indicated to call the front desk. I called down and got the same girl, she clicked some keys and told me it was fixed. I tried three more times to rent the movie, turned the TV on and off, and tried again. It still wasn’t working so I called again. She told me that another guy had come down with the same issue and his was now working fine, and that if my TV was broken, no one could fix it until Monday when this was Saturday night). If I could have seen her through the phone, I am sure she threw her hands up in the air and rolled her eyes — she was basically telling me there was nothing she could do. There wasn’t a huge selection of kids movies, so thinking it was a problem with the specific movie itself, we tried for Toy Story 3. It ended up working, and even though the kids had already seen it, it ended up fine. The room comes with a free breakfast in the morning — hard boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, bagels, toast, coffee, and juice. It was all right, but the best thing was the peanut butter. Each room also includes a fridge and microwave. Two-star hotel with a two-star staff. Go for Holiday Inn Express which is just down the road from here.
