I’d avoid this restaurant. The food is passable if you like esteem MacDonald’s as a great place to eat. Service was awful. Our server took a steak order without asking how my wife wanted the steak cooked. She was far too busy talking to other customers to serve us. The busboys were the only staff seeking to please the customers.

Friendly, prompt, attentive customer service. Substantial portions and very reasonable prices. Food was good… it’s hearty, not trendy. The tossed salad was yummy; the gyro and souvlaki were tasty. It’s a casual dining ambience that my grandsons love. I would patronize Ambrosia again.

This is a review from 2012 so I understand if things have changed but I don’t think so. I went here one night for dinner with a group of friends. Our waiter had an attitude from the beginning and was rude the entire night. I ordered a gyro sandwich. I’ve had better but it wasn’t terrible. However, I ended up getting food poisoning from my gyro sandwich. I wouldn’t recommend this place if anyone wants quality Greek food or service. This is for the Ambrosia Restaurant that used to be near GAP in Rockville.
