I never Unilocal but wanted to take this time to encourage people to NEVER go to this location! 1. Poor service 2. Stale bread. I don’t even think it’s Dutch crunch! 3. Brown avocado 4. it was a waste of $ 9! The list can go on… But just wanted to warn people to NEVERGOTOTHISLOCATION! Zero stars if I could!

Not a real Mr. Pickles. Don’t be deceived. Walked in, smelled funny, saw the board saying not affiliated with Mr Pickles Inc, walked out. Looks like we made the right choice

Should have walked out. Especially when I asked the owner why she wasn’t wearing gloves. Her excuse, «she’s allergic, but washes her hands constantly.» And, they’re in between workers because school just started. Since when does school start in February? $ 11 plus for a sammich and chips. Gross. Don’t even bother.

I was an unfortunate victim by this Mr pickles. I knew some thing was wrong when I walked in and nobody was there during lunch hour rush. No water machine no cookies and slow service(only one there). The sandwich came out soggy and gross. The staff was very friendly but this location flat out is a false advertisement for mr. Pickles. I wouldn’t go back if I was starving.

We had a buy one sandwich get one free coupon but even after this 2 sandwiches, 2 chips and 2 sodas cost more than $ 16. Yikes. I got the TunaTuna and the Tuna had absolutely no taste. They put a lot of it on the sandwich but I’m not sure how it can not have any taste or what they put in the tuna to make it that way. I also noticed that there was no avocado in my sandwich. I use to be a regular her but the increase of price and the decrease in quality is why I will not come back.

Such a disappointment… I’m not sure if this location has new owners but I had a bad experience today. I’ve been to this me pickles a dozen times and it’s never been this bad. I have always thought the bread was dry but other than that no complaints. Today was different. — man running cash register didn’t know how to ring things up and kept yelling to his wife — bathroom not maintained — ordered two sandwiches. One on marble rye and the other on ciabatta. Chose these because the wheat rolls I usually get are always dry. I should have taken my chances. The marble rye was not marble, just rye. And was so old that it crumbled. The ciabatta also fell apart because it was old and the corners were hard — lettuce was pretty much nonexistent. Just a few scraggly pieces — gross old brown avocado. If I wasn’t starving I would have thrown t away. I took it to go(ate within 10 min of prep) so I couldn’t ask for a refund or new sandwich Very poor experience

I should’ve read the reviews before coming here. This place is SLOW and food is disgusting. I don’t believe this is location is part of the Mr. Pickles chain either. The chicken on my sandwich tasted like it had been defrosted and heated up at least 3 times. It had chunks of pepper for the so called«seasoning» which was awful tasting. They were out of at least 6 items, forgot to put bacon on my sandwich, and put items that I requested NOT to be on there. So I paid $ 11 for a half ass sandwich I didn’t want and a drink that came from their leaking fridge. The two immature employees working were so unprofessional and could give a crap about working there. They were carrying on their own conversations in front of customers which I thought was unnecessary. I also don’t feel like they were educated about proper food handling either based on some of things I saw. I used to work in a restaurant and am well aware of food safety and actually had to take a course on food handling. The Health Inspector should really consider taking a look at this place because it’s disgusting and I can bet they have expired food. I will never be coming to this location again and I’ve already informed my friends and co workers to do the same. What a shame this place is… Explains the two star review they have on here.

5 ingredients in my sandwich were missing or wrong, I would have thought I got someone else’s sandwich if she hadn’t called my name out per the order slip. What I ordered: Turkey, Sourdough, cheddar, lettuce, pickles, peppers, mustard Light mayo. What I got: Turkey, Sourdough, cheddar, pickles, tomato, onion, heavy mayo, and mustard. It took 25 minutes to get my sandwich after I ordered. The only person making sandwiches seemed extremely overwhelmed and there were only 4 people in front of me. No free cookie. :( I also can’t figure out how i was charged 10.33 for a sandwich that is listed on the board as 6.95? I have been to this location before and it was a completely different operation. Appears maybe the ownership changed and they are very new to this business.

Slow service with limited staff. Only One person behind the counter. The place looks like it is going out of business with limited drinks and chips on display. Windows and counter were very dirty.

This place looked a little sketchy on the outside and had a weird smell but I was curious to try it out since I saw someone I knew get food here. The inside was a little small and the counters are very high which doesn’t allow you to see the employees make your sandwich… I enjoy knowing how people are making my food, such as in places like Chipotle or Subway. I ordered #13 with turkey, avocado, and cheese. It came out to be more than $ 9 which was okay but as soon as I opened the bag in my car I could tell this wasn’t a place worth coming back to. The sandwich was the size of a 6 inch at subway but the price of a foot long. It was of outrageous. The sandwich was warm and tasted okay– I found a HAIR in it but I sucked up and kept eating(since I was starved from a soccer tournament I’ve just came from also I was not about to waste the $ 9 I’ve spent on it). The bacon was soft with mostly fat on it with wilted lettuce. There were also almost no avocado though ironically it was a turkey avocado sandwich. Point is I will never return here again and I don’t suggest you coming here either.

I had a great experience at this location. There were 5 young guys behind the counter making sandwiches. They were all very friendly, it was quick enough and the sandwiches were great! I will go back.

This Mr. Pickles I heard makes«sandwiches». Only thing I enjoyed about my experience was the back of the door as I walked out of this establishment. 75% stale bread, 25% nothing that I ordered. The pink lemonade they made how ever was a close second to the chips I already had bought at my house. If you’re in the Rocklin area and feel like squandering $ 9 of you hard earned money on some bread and shit, stop by. Otherwise, just get a sandwich from Starbucks.

TERRIBLE! Zero stars if I could. They are always out of something for ingredients. They put up notes on the door saying no cards, or exact change. Very unprofessional and rude employees. I love the Mr Pickles chain, but this business owner needs to be fired.

Do NOT go to this location! It is not a REAL franchise Mr. Pickles and does not have to follow normal health and quality standards of other locations. Girl working there is rude and obviously had no intrest in being there. Sandwhich took 24 minutes to make and it was a simple Turley on dutch. There were 10 people huddled in the corner waiting for their food. When I finally got my sandwhich I immediately located a giant hair in the middle of it. It was so obvious it almost looked intentional. Bread was old and you could tell it had been frozen and thawed several times over. I love other Mr. Pickles locations and this location is running the brand name.

I have always loved Mr. Pickles and frequented the place often. After my experience at this location today, I might not go back to this location again. First off, the girl making my sandwich was rude and obviously didn’t want to be at work, secondly when my sandwich was ready(to go order) the other guy working there, just set it on the counter and said«here you go Dude», and walked away. While he wasn’t unfriendly like the girl, I think if you call an adult customer«dude» you better be the type of person giving boisterous and overflowing friendly customer service which he definitely wasn’t trying to talk to anyone for more than an order. I didn’t think too much into the service other than maybe a couple people just not having the best day, no big deal, I wouldn’t hold just that against them. Then I ate my sandwich. Let me tell you, disgusting. Worst sandwich I’ve ever had from a sandwich shop. Bread tasted like 2 day old with freezer burn, the meat-I don’t even know what to say… Looked weird and felt slimy. I’m very disappointed to be writing this and have never written a review like this. I even hope my experience is a fluke, but I am sharing my feedback in hopes that there is a business owner out there that cares and wants to make this mr pickles an improved restaurant /business.

Stopped in at 6pm on a weekday and only one person was working the restaurant. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem very excited about working with the public… no smile, no greeting, just doin’ her job(and nothing more). Ordering went smoothly and the outcome was good. Very fresh bread, fresh produce and tasty sandwiches. Opportunities for improvement in the service and staffing arenas. Would I go back? Sure. Would it be my first choice? Def not.

I went to this Mr. Pickles today 7⁄24 @ 6:30 pm and the worker there was horrible. Didn’t greet us, didn’t look up at us, and made my order 100% wrong. I ordered a chef’s salad which includes meat and cheese and got a salad that had lettuce, pepperoccinis, and tomatoes. That’s all. And it was $ 7.50. Fortunately, my husband had his order made almost right. But it still didn’t have everything he asked for on it. I will never go back to this place. Complete rip off and horrible customer service. I didn’t go back to complain because by the time I would have gotten there, it would have closed. So now I’m hungry and down $ 7.50. I’ll try to post proof of my sorry salad.

Sports bar feel Mr. Pickles. I really wanted to give this place 3 stars. Really… It’s a solid 2.5 at least. The place just needs a bit more of a woman’s touch to feel more congruent with the franchise, it just doesn’t really jive with all the other MP’s I’ve visited. Actually, I would have liked it better if it was a stand alone shop, just kinda feels like a clash of styles. It was also a little dirty.

Well… I’ve been to many Mr. Pickles in my day. I discovered it in Los Gatos… Which was weird– because when I lived in Lincoln, there was one right down the street from me and I never went. Well, I’ve returned to the Sacramento area and stopped at this one in Rocklin. It’s nice and like all Mr. Pickles, the menu is substantially similar with different names. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich on Dutch crunch. The bread itself was nicely sweet and very soft– not crunchy at all so I am not sure your preference. While I was extremely satisfied with my sandwich, I asked only for lettuce and onions to be added. I was given lettuce and tomatoes. Of course, I didn’t notice this until I got home. But it is what it is. While I’m disappointed the girl wasn’t listening, I don’t hold it against the establishment– the sandwich was great otherwise. Many of you will read this who have never been to a mr. Pickles. Just stop here and try it! It’s a legitimate deli– not a subway. The sandwiches are generous in size and worth every penny of the reasonable price b
