My absolute favorite bar in the Lincoln/Rocklin/Roseville area. JJ has done a great job expanding the place and the food is great. I love that he does military Mondays and pint nights. We recently moved out of state and I miss this place so much. Any time we go back to visit I will be coming in.

Great unique food choices and fun atmosphere for a quick little date. Not a big beer fan but whatever I had, I enjoyed tremendously!

Awesome selection of craft beer going beyond typical places with rows and rows of IPAs. The bartender was super friendly, they do a «Military Monday, the kitchen made us food right as they were closing, and their wood fire pizzas were awesome. It’s a small and quaint place which is great compared to something like noise of a Yard House

I like this place alright, it’s just kinda pricey. The last couple times I was there they only have 1 or 2 weak beers in 16 oz. I don’t even know why us Americans are conditioned to even believe 16 oz is a pint, go to Canada, at least they’ve got one thing right, the Imperial Pint, 20 oz! Anyway, this place is good and high quality, but just a bit on the expensive side.

Really great place. The blind pig mac and cheese is the best I have ever had. It was amazing!!! It had bacon, puuled pork and sausage, but not enought to overpower the cheese flavor. I also really liked the fish tacos. My son had one of the chicken pizzas with bacon. It was really great too. Great selection of beers on tap. Had the Boneshaker triple IPA,(earth walker) and I really enjoyed it. Cant wait to go back.

Cool place with a great vibe and enough craft beer selections to make your eyes cross. The food menu is also VERY good, try the Philly Mac and Cheese, it’s killer!

The macaroni and cheese has never disappointed. However the nachos are not great. Congealed and burnt cheese and a lump of chips like a brick. Last time I was here we ordered chips and guacamole and it was like someone dumped the bottom crumbs out of a stale bag. So I’d say avoid any chip dishes at this point. Monday nights is a fun and not too lengthy trivia night. Two rounds that move along quickly starting at 7.

Went on Sunday night. There was a guy in the back maybe the owner or manager in a blue shirt. He took about 10 – 15 minutes to come out from the back for us to order a beer. And then when he came out he had the worst customer service, almost as if he was annoyed of us being there. We were celebrating my brothers girlfriends 21st birthday. Maybe he had a bad day or was hungover but I didn’t feel welcomed and just wanted a good beer but when I asked questions he was sighing and seemed rude. I don’t think I would ever come back again because of my experience but my brothers Mac and cheese was really really good.

I’m only giving it four stars cause of the seating– if they expanded a bit and made it easier to move around it would be cooler. However I have never ran into a situation where the people were jerks and being snoody about their seats. A couple times I ended up making friends because we all sat at a booth together because of the shortage of seating. Love all the beers on tap– they change them out a lot and I love that today they had multiple Sours! There’s always plenty IPA but I love the Sours. The mac n cheese is bomb diggity! I love the Cobby Mac mmmmm Sooo bomb!

Another great place to eat and drink! They got a great drinks menu and friendly staff! The food menu isn’t extensive but it’s real good! I had the veggie Mac n cheese with ghost pepper flakes! Damn it was good! Really hot but I simply couldn’t stop eating it!

This is a great place in Rocklin. I love gastropubs that brew beer. I ordered the carnitas mac’n’cheese, meat trifecta pizza, and the Boneshaker IPA. Everything was absolutely amazing! I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a great gastropub.

YASSSSSS. This place definitely does it right. First off, I appreciate the staff here for just in general being mad chill. The guy I was with suggested that the mac & cheese was the specialty, which didn’t exactly help in my selection process because they have like 5 different kinds of it that all sounded equally as delicious. We tried a couple, they were all hearty and delicious. Full plates, super cheesy with add-ins of all other things that make for a belly filling, good beer pairing type of meal. It’s spacious, has the excitement/noise/music of a happening place, but still quiet enough to hear someone across the table. Definitely a good spot to grab a meal, or beer, or just hang out. I shall be back!

I was told to give this place a shot, «you’ll like it they said,» and they were right. A friend lives within cycling distance and frequents here, so it came highly recommended. This has a contemporary less than hipster feel but it’s fun. Very casual fun and relaxed feel, the staff made great conversation but also gave space to enjoy your visit. The beer selection is outstanding with a modest but still broad base to choose for your imbibing pleasure. Each selection is served in a variety of glasses based on alcohol content of course in 9, 13, and 16 ounce glasses. The tulip glasses are a nice touch on the smaller pours. The menu had an equally interesting and also enticing selection. We settled on sharing macaroni and cheese and the nachos(funny I’m out for lunch right now as I write this and we ordered the same thing here; think I see a pattern forming). The mac n cheese has carnitas mixed into it and broiled, it was creamy, succulent, and delicious, but really it needed more meat, as it was just a bit too sparse amongst the rest of the ingredients. The nachos were also good, but really were a bit dry; there should have been more cheese and as the menu suggested, it should have been layered; once we made it beneath the top crust the cheese was gone. Overall, I still liked our experience here. Food was good just in need of a few tweaks, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the beer selection is exactly what I look for in a bar/pub. Suffice it to say, I’ll be back when the occasion finds me in the area.

Found this place through Unilocal after a lil shopping at the Galleria & we were happy w/our find. It turned out to be more of a pub style place… you order everything @ the bar(we thought is was more of a sit down restaurant originally). They have a great selection of of great beer! I had the speakeasy IPA(one of my favorites). Thank goodness it isn’t served in a tall glass or else I’d of been messed up haha(I was drinking in an empty stomach). We ordered the fish tacos which were a little over cooked, but still tasted great! Great flavor & I loved the sauce they had on top… Not to mention you get 3 tacos, so I had to share. My husband got the brat… He devoured it & loved the mustard that was served with it. We also ordered the chicken nachos which were yummy, but since we had already ordered so much food we didn’t get to finish. The staff was very welcoming & knowledgable of the variations of beers & their flavors. We’ll definitely be stopping by again when we’re in the area :)

Great little spot in Rocklin for conniseurs of good beers and tasty Mac and Cheese. They had close to 30 different beers on tap most of which were from California microbreweries. In addition they have 8 different versions of Mac and Cheese. Because we were there for happy hour, ½ orders of Mac and Cheese were ½ off or $ 5 depending on the type ordered. In addition their flat bread pizzas were oh so yummy! This is a great place to watch a football game or just socialize with friends or co-workers. The rest rooms were very clean by bar standards and the décor of the bar was just right. They have a large patio area too but it was 100 degrees today so there was no way we were sitting outside. I would definitely go back.

This is a great little spot! We decided to check this place out based off of good reviews from friends who live in Roseville. This place looks super cool on the inside and the staff was very nice. You have to order at the bar. There are about 5 billion signs telling you to order at the bar so I’m assuming they really want you to do that… I let my husband order for me and he ordered me a coffee IPA and I didn’t really like it. The staff let me get another one for free even though I offered to pay for the second beer. Great customer service!

Came in fairly recently for lunch. Location has expanded for more seating and the large beverage selection. Staff was somewhat on it for the visit. Ordered some Pig Pig Pig Mac n Cheese, Pesto Chicken Mac n Cheese and a beverage. One of the slower returns on the food. I would say a good 40 minutes for being too busy. The pig pig pig was loaded with flavors. Lots of pork, sausage and bacon nestled within moist cheese. Hearty it was. The pesto chicken was a good choice too. Definitely not missing the Italian taste. Both dishes were good. Aside from wait on food, still good for a mellow time. Previous Review Located across from Safeway and Cal Fit behind the McDonalds This location is incredibly small but so good with food and service. I have stopped in twice and not have been disappointed. Once to try it out and once for my birthday. Orders are at the bar for drinks and food. Food is delivered to your table. A nice large beer selection matched with a narrow food menu. Menu includes some sandwiches and Mac n Cheese in a variety of flavors. A good collection of 15 + craft beers from various companies and changes frequently. Mac n Cheese comes in flavors such as bacon and carnitas. Beers are served in appropriately matched glasses to order. Mac n Cheese is made to order. We tried the carnitas Mac n Cheese. It was hot for flavor and temperature as described on the menu. Not lacking in taste was the large carnitas nestled throughout the dish. Best Mac n Cheese in town. Service at the bar is quick as is picking up empty glasses. Good food and beer selections. Bad small location. Bathroom was out of order the last visit. Only one bathroom. Overall four stars for food and the service. I will come back again.

Do you love good food and a great selection of fantastic beer, then just get the heck over there. I’m not a fan of Boneshakers beer, but the great thing about this place is you have a lot of variety from breweries all up the coast. They bring in GOOD stuff. The tap list is always changing and you can check their facebook page to see whats up. They have a variety of specialty mac & cheese that is kinda over the top amazing. You could share a full size. if you can pry yourself away from it. The overall décor is modern and the outdoor seating area give you a nice space to enjoy a great beer without having to deal with yelling over the music. Speaking of music, they have live music every now and then. not sure the schedule but it’s been there a few times while we were. They are supposedly getting a woodfire pizzas soon which will be a nice addition. The staff is really great. They take the time to help you find something you like. And they have overall friendly vibes. The place is clean and family friendly. They just expanded into the suite next door which gave them double the seating capacity & an additional bathroom which was needed. If this wasn’t so far from my house, i’d probably be here a ridiculous amount of time. I mean with a rotating tap list. you can just keep coming and there’s always more to try.

The Husband and I came to Boneshakers a few weeks back for a little day drinking action around 2:00pm on a Sunday. As soon as we walked in I was shocked at how packed they were! The inside is rather small with some bar stools and a few tables inside and out. We snagged some seats at the end of the bar which was great because they have a few huge TVs on the wall so we had a great view of the football game. I ordered a Dechutes Hard Apple Cider which was really good! The Husband had a few beers from a nice sized list, but his favorite was the Sour Blonde which I thought was great as well(even though I don’t like beer) because it tasted more like a sour juice. They have a good food menu but we weren’t too hungry so we just ordered the Chips and Salsa to snack on. They make their own salsa which is nice, but they don’t make their own chips and for me, it kinda ruined it and made it taste cheap. I have heard the Macaroni and Cheese is amazing, and the Nachos looked great so I would try those next time. They have Happy Hour everyday from 3 – 6 with some food specials, and their drinks are very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back!
