Beer glass is empty and has been that way since the food showed up. Food is good, waitress in the bar is horrible. She is the reason we won’t be back. What is happy hour when the waitress can’t even be around to serve.

I love the chicken fluatas, and for an appetizer I like the nachos grande. The chips and salsa is very good, not too hot but great flavors

They removed the happy hour food specials, when we ordered the jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp($ 11), there were a total of 4 small shrimp! That’s outrageous! Very disappointed!

Service is really good here That’s where it ends… I ordered a sizzling fajita salad and um that chicken hadn’t sizzled in awhile and not to mention its calorie hog if you get the dressing applied and without drawing, which they try to push on you despite asking not to have it Let’s talk about the music, WTF80’s American mixed with Latin(Ricky Martin) and it’s loud. Change the music for the love of God! Overall if you want Mexican food go to Authentic around the area. If you want Chevys then by all means Chevys has gone has down hill from the days of we make everything fresh.

I really enjoy the Chevy’s atmosphere and the service was really good. The food is really yummy, being from the GA the Food didn’t have enough Cheese. We really like cheese in the south but m, I don’t think Authentic food has that much cheese.

Went for lunch won’t be coming back. The food tasted okay but there was hardly any meat on the tacos the beans and rice were cold. The worst $ 30.00 I’ve spent in a while.

Best way to describe this is like you are going into a Chili’s but it’s just Mexican food. Chain and consistent food, easy to expect what type of experience you will have here. Food is pretty Americanized but if you’re eating here-you already know that. If you’re looking for true Mexican, this isn’t the place but it is a nice place to sit down with the family. Table side guacamole: hard to mess this up but we started with it and we liked it. It’s $ 8.99 and its worth it-fresh guac is always good. Chips are good, they are thin and crispy. The salsa is good-different than other salsas, it’s a smokey salsa that actually grew on me. After eating so many chips and salsa, we decided to just share a burrito. We got the fajita burrito with carnitas. Only thing I would say is that it came with rancho-type beans in the burrito and also on the side so it was kinda… beany. We’ll come back here again. If you want to pig out on chips and salsa and sit down-you can’t go wrong.

Great service! Great food! It’s a busy Friday so we waited a while for our food but didn’t mind it at all because of the endless chips n salsa! Enjoyed our meal & Margaritas so much.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Sitting in the bar having lunch. Bartender bad mouthed as many others bars and bartenders she could. The husbands food was cold. He ate the taco and pushed his plate away. Bartender said I thought you were hungry. He said he was but his food was cold. She felt it and do oh! She said you should’ve told me before you ate anything. She said I would’ve ordered you hot food. Really… FYI to Management your bartender was giving away free alcohol to patrons from the Valencia Club.

I went to this place for the first time with my girlfriend awhile ago just to try it because I always said it wasn’t authentic, me being Mexican and all, but the first time I went there their food seemed pretty legit. First, their food choices were pretty good and true to real Mexican food I was surprised at how good it was. Second, the food tasted good and was presented nicely on the plate with hardly any mess and the flavors were perfect. Third, the service was good the people were really nice and sat us down quickly and always came to our table to check up on us. I don’t know about other reviews but I love it here and would come again.

Being that Chevy’s is corporate, I knew my chips and salsa, crab and shrimp enchiladas and deep fried ice cream would be delicious. So this is a review on my customer service experience. I was visiting Rocklin from San Francisco for the week, and after some weird local food experiences, I had some exceptionally great service at this Chevy’s location. Our seating host was efficient and friendly, our waiter Bryan was extremely polite, personable, accurate and understood the art of being attentive to us without pestering us or rushing us. And at the end of our meal, a member of the wait staff went out of her way to beat us to the door and open it for us. I was very impressed. I don’t typically write reviews for chain restaurants, but the staff here seems to be very well trained and equipped with positive attitudes.

Four stars for a bit of a guilty pleasure. Are you getting authentic Mexican food? I don’t know. I just know they keep the chips and salsa coming and their margaritas are OK. Some dishes are much better than others. For instance, the Jalapeño Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp appetizer is very underwhelming. The Fajita Nachos are good. The Ooey-Gooey-Chewy Sundae is fun and good, although I’m sure you’ll want to do cardio for a week after. Or two. Anyway, I suggest going, having a drink or two and having fun. You want authentic? Go wherever. Just a fun meal with friends and family? Then you’re all set.

Gave them another chance. Walked in door, stood there waiting for about 5 minutes. One employee walked right pass us to go outside to her car. No hello someone will be with you nothing. Finally seated. Server was nice he seemed nervous but did a good job. He had lots of questions for his manager, who was sitting at a table eating! It’s 1130, they were only open thirty minutes and she could have been the hostess welcoming customers! Totally done.

This Chevys is closest to us but we won’t be coming here again. Food quality the last several times has been awful, just in the last 6 – 8 months. The flautas are always burnt and barely have the yummy sauce drizzled on them anymore. We went on cinqo de mayo and I ordered fajitas. The amount of guacamole they put on the dish was SMALLER than a spoonful. The chicken was rubbery and I couldn’t cut it with my dull knife. And the staff stood around and giggled. Mind you, this was before the rush and it got busy. Tonight, we wanted happy hour again as we love Chevy ’ s flautas. So we drove the extra distance to the one on Douglas and it did NOT disappoint. Their kitchen manager and food quality is far superior. Sorry Lonetree, but you have lost our business.

It is what it is. They have good specials, I think happy hour is alllll the time, like literally, we have not been in there when it isn’t happy hour and we have been randomly… So I guess they should just be called their prices but whatever, $ 3 for beer or $ 4 for dos equis, cause I don’t always drink beer… but when I do… OK, you get it… Food is good, service is good, beer is cold and good… so, they get a good! :)

What the heck, Chevy’s is still open? Actually the brand is dying a slow death with unprofitable stores being closed as their leases expire. Chevy’s is nothing like it used to be in it’s heydays back in the 90’s. We ordered off of the happy hour menu and our food was bad to average. My Pirates Punch drink was pretty darn good though and even came with a shot of banana rum on the side. Unfortunately my drink was the highlight of our experience. Chevy’s once legendary chips and salsa weren’t even very good. The chips were too oily making them taste borderline stale and over salted. I think this Chevy’s will be shutting down when its lease is up unless the brand can breath some life and updating into its stores.

The lunch burrito menu is cool– unless you don’t know exactly what combo you like. I would recommend no beans or rice on the burrito because they come on the side anyway. It was dead quiet– but it was 2pm on a Tuesday. The restaurant was super clean and they have a lunch menu which has a generously sized lunch meal. Krystal was the bartender and she stayed on top of our drinks, chips, salsa, and was super nice. On the weekends and evenings this place is crazy busy. You might want to call ahead or grab it to go in those instances. I got a chicken burrito with all the veggies, retried beans, rice, and guac. Like I said earlier– I’d recommend not getting beans and rice in your burrito because they already come on the plate! I hear they have a nice happy hour as well!

Read my review history. You might say«shame on me» for going back… But unfortunately they have a monopoly on decent tasting fajitas. Honestly… 100% of the time this location forgets stuff on to go orders. I am not exaggerating when I say that. Today they forgot tortillas with my fajitas. Luckily I remembered them. But when I got home my wife reminded me that there was no setup with it(ie guac, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, cheese). I don’t know what is wrong with this venue. At his point I’m convinced it is management.
