Wow! Amazing Customer Service! This Location is independently owned and it shows! The owner Aaron (Retired USMC Lt. Col) was there today and he was very professional and had more knowledge of boots than anyone I’ve ever encountered. He really helped me understand truly what I needed and after months of trying to decide I made a decision after Aaron allowed me to try on multiple pairs of boots. They have a amazing selection and the prices are more than fair. In fact the pair I bought were the same price as what I saw on line, which I would never buy… as we all know you never buy work boots on line unless its a size you have already purchased. Lol. all I can really say is this location truly embraces the old school American customer service and values! Very pleased with the service. Only bummer was I got so excited I forgot to buy the boots with a steel toe. Lol (2 pair identical, one steel toe, 1 regular)
But it should be fine. Definitely my fault. Aaron showed both pair. Anyways I can’t say enough about this location.

Superb customer service and friendly staff! I called around local work wear shops and had a hard time finding inventory for women carhartt pants. When I called to inquire at barebones they did not have any but, had some brought from their yuba city store for me to try on in the rocklin store. They called me in very next day to tell me the pants arrived. Thanks so much guys!

Went in today for some new scrubs. It was our first time there and we will most definitely be back. We even met the owner who personally introduced himself and thanked us for being there. Love supporting businesses like this! Thanks guys :)

You have got to go look at this store and check it out! We did some shopping here for the holidays and they had just about everything. If they didn’t have what we needed, they ordered it for us. The customer service was excellent and the prices were great too! We were getting full-​service, but enjoying their competitive pricing. One thing to know about this store is that they aren’t just any work wear store. My husband bought me some amazing leather clogs, and he also saw plenty of products that our sons would enjoy. What a great place to find a gift. The selection of boots were fantastic and it was great to work with a local family who is part of our community. Go by the store and see what you think! Also, they have another amazing store in Yuba City too!

Impeccable customer service and care. Started on the phone, the guys was willing to share all the information about the boots in stock, he checked for sizes available and was willing to put them on hold.
After going to four stores previously, this is the only store that had work boots in 11.5
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, directed toward the boots, and given loads of info about the contrasts of products.
The guy was so helpful during a stressful hunt for work boots and he made it so easy. With success, my husband bought a great pair of boots at a reasonable price.

Very friendly, acknowledged me as i entered, fully stocked inventory. I would definitely comeback here vs the Madison location. I drive out of my way to give people my business who actually deserve it. These guys are great, even asked me if they didnt have something, could they find it for next time instead just pushing me out the door with my purchase. Awesome atmosphere!

These guys are awesome. I would recommend anyone who works in adverse conditions to shot here.
I had some boots that where blown out and they where a little past the warranty and they gave me a full refund towards my next set of boots. They really take care of their customers.

Never mind workwear — I come here for casual wear. They have the best selection of Carhartt I’ve seen locally, including that big store next door. Carhartt is already reasonably priced apparel in my opinion (and of much better quality than most other name brands), and Barebones usually discounts those prices even further.
Of course they carry other workwear-​centric brands of apparel and footwear, like Dickies and Timberland. I think their 5.11 Tactical selection could be better, but unless/​until they get more customers in law enforcement, I can understand the limited selection.
I’m big on customer service, and after 3 different visits, I can tell they really «get it» here.

Aaron is the owner/​operator and together with his wife offer the best in customer service along with a healthy inventory of work clothes, boots, and accessories. THEY PRICE MATCH!
I honestly hate going into stores that push good/​services on the customer and was pleased that he recommended I pursue other options when we couldn’t find the product to fit my needs immediately.
He was more than willing to get it for me within a day, however, like most guys I waited until the last minute.
I will definitely be going back to this location in the future!

Aaron is a great guy with customer service skills at the highest level. He owns the place, which is one of the only franchise stores I know of, but you would never know unless you ask him. Interesting stories to tell while you look for your gear. Engaging, knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, and very open to feedback. When you think of pushy high-​pressure salespeople — these folks are the OPPOSITE. Pricing is very fair and reasonable. Plus it feels good keeping my money local while helping an American family operate independently ! They do carry some «made in America» items, which I appreciate a ton. Great selection of brands /​styles. If they don’t carry something specific you need, they’ll find it. If you need it sooner than they can provide it, they will even refer you to a competitor to make sure you are taken care of !!! Talk about integrity. Enough said.
When I need work wear, this will be my ONLY stop in the foreseeable future. Customer earned indeed guys. If they don’t change their business model pertaining to customer service and pricing, they’ll succeed for sure. Stop by if you’re in the area. Drive there if you need to. They won’t disappoint.

I called in to ask for polishes and oils for work boots. Aaron had answered all my questions. I was treated with politeness and respect by Aaron when I came in to the store. He helped advise me on products I had more questions about as well with my boots. As I browsed the tidy store, I could hear him and Ronnie Sincerely greet and thank each person. Very helpful. Incredible customer service. Very well stocked store.

I was looking all over for some inexpensive slip-​on rainboots or yard boots for my son. I went to Walmart, Target, PayLess, and Sportsmans Warehouse. No one had any. As a fluke I walked in to Barebones Workwear (never had been to one before) and low and behold they had some for only $ 17 and they are high quality. It appears to be family run and they are very helpful and friendly. Looking foward to their larger store opening down the street.
