Customer service is so important for a business, would be good to brush up on it.

They were very friendly and helpful. I received excellent service during their busiest time of the year «Christmas». A lot of cool stuff.

This is the best hobby shop! Stop buying online and support them, it is awesome having experts on everything radio controlled that you can go talk to in person! The staff is always helpful and has helped me with my rc planes a great deal. The prices are close to the best online prices so they always have my business.

As with most purchases we do some windowshopping and try to make an informed decision after that. We were in the market for a few RC cars/​trucks to have some fun. After making our rounds we decided that HobbyTown USA was by far the most friendly and knowledgeable around. The store was pretty full of customers and lookers, after coming up with a budget we decided on A truck and a buggy.
We knew absolutely nothing about RC vehicles and the gentleman explained everything we needed know and really took his time with us. We invested a decent amount of money in the truck and buggy and felt very good about the purchase.
This place is awesome and everyone there is awesome. The girl that rang us up made sure we became a member of their program which gave us a little bit of a discount.
If you are in the market for anything from science toys, rockets, brain games, anything RC and much much more this is definitely the place to go.
We definitely will continue to come here and recommend for all our needs.

This is pretty neat, little hobby store. They have a decent rocketry section, which is the main thing that is important to me. They even had a couple of mid-​power motors in stock. Naturally, I would like to see a LOT more mid-​power rocketry supplies, especially since nobody in sacramento carries anything significant. I am still amazed that with so much larger population, we do not have anything that can hold a candle to Tammies in Portland. But still, for a national chain, this is a nice little shop, and I especially like what a good selection they have, of small modeling tools. They also have nice display models, hanging from the ceiling, including one or two mid-​power rockets. :)

I don’t want to spend my time fixing broken rcs and my son is not capable of fixing them, so I’m happy we can turn to hobby town for our repairs.
They always treat there customers with respect and go out of there way to make you a repeat customer !

Since Hobby Town moved, I’ve been a fan. They have listened to the airplane guys and bolstered their air/​helo inventory. They have mostly electric airplanes and very little gas stuff. That’s ok because I think the majority is going to electric. I’m ok with staying local and not driving down to RC country.

I would not base your decision to go to the store just by the review that is already here. I have bought multiple toys for my children here and have always been happy and felt that the employees advised me honestly on the best value for the price.
Recently we just purchased a $ 250 remote control truck here. We did not know any better and were running the truck too much and actually overheated and ruined the motor. We took it into them and they fixed it for the cost of the motor and did the labor for free.
I am really happy because just imagine how much this would make my boy have a bad day if his truck was ruined for that mistake. I am actually very grateful that they fix this and told us how to not break the truck again.
I really recommend this place and always like the employees.

They don’t even deserve 1 star but I have to give them something… just came from there and the customer service SUCKS. I walked thru the whole store with my son lookifoing at stuff, found the R/​C plane we wanted but NOBODY (3 employees and I think the owner himself, who is in a wheelchair) could even give us the time of day… their conversation about water waste was much more important… Never going back. Driving across town on Monday to R/​C Country Hobbies where they know the meaning of customer service, shame on me for trying to support the store right down the street from me
