Been coming here for a few years now — it’s a small but solid Italian place tucked away in the corner of a shopping mall. I haven’t had their pizzas or most of their lunch specials so I can’t speak to those, but there are a few things they do quite well here! The overall flavor is a bit lighter than a lot of other Italian places in the area, which is probably why I like it – I’m not huge on cheese or general heaviness. Stuffed mushrooms — probably my favourite appetizer, the pink sauce on these is to die for(and can be ordered alone as a side!). The rolls that they serve go amazingly with the pink sauce! Linguine with white clam sauce — my favourite thing! Good amount of clams, the sauce is nice and light Lobster Ravioli — It comes with the pink sauce, which is a plus, but is a bit heavier than I’d usually like Ribeye steak marsala — this is a special, but they have it most of the time. Huge cut of ribeye with mushroom marsala sauce and steamed veggies, super delicious. The steak can come out a bit more cooked than I like it sometimes, but it’s still pretty good. Lemon chiffon cake — must get! Very refreshing, tart and sweet and cold and generally just good.

I have dined in a few times and its fair but not great. The rolls are good i will say that. This time i picked up a deep dish pizza, white pizza, and meatball sandwich. It wasn’t a deep dish, it was a thick crust! You cant call yourself a pizza café and not have decent pizza. I have had the thin crust its better. North Dallas is loaded with all these Italian restaurants and theres not an oz of Italian in ownership blood. So just understand what ur getting. Its not a love of the food, its about making a buck and family business. Gotta say, i tried 3x here, game over.

Ordered for delivery. Decided to try something new for a change. Bad call. Delivered timely but over done. Semi burnt taste to the pizza cause it was overcooked. Too hungry to call and complain and ask for a replacement. Will not be ordering from here again. When pizza comes out that dark brown on the bottom it should have been remade, not boxed and delivered. No care for quality at all. Will not be ordering here again.

Our goto Italian place! The every dish we’ve had is great. Pizza is fantastic! It’s a little small so it gets packed quickly and can be a little loud. Service is usually good as well.

I have been dining with Venezia for 12 years and have loved it every single time I eat there. There are maybe 5 – 10 decent Italian spots in all of DFW and this up near the top. Dallas, unlike NYC, does not do Italian food well. I either order the pizza, but most of the time I order the Calamari Fra Diavlo. It is very delicious and reminds me of Little Italy in NY. The wait staff is the best, so friendly and wonderful are the owner and his wife. I’m proud to eat there when I can cause I know it will always be a great experience.

Great little neighborhood Italian restaurant. My wife and I have been there a number of times, joined by friends or by ourselves, and we’ve never had a bad experience. The service is always consistent and on point. The food is always good; don’t expect anything crazy innovative, but they do all the«classics» very very well. The restaurant is BYOB, but either plan ahead or time things right — there is a liquor store in the same shopping center that you can grab a cold bottle of wine from. Also, if you live close enough, their delivery service is great too. P. S. Their rolls are awesome!

Probably the worst food we were served in DFW in years. The Parmesan dish was a combination of tomato/pasta mush and chunk of hard, smelly(what I assume was) chicken. My kids, who can chow anything from Dominos to frozen store bought pizza refused to eat thin crust pepperoni pizza we’ve ordered. We left $ 30 out of packet looking for the other place to eat, which I don’t recall ever happening to us before. Service was rude, and on our distress about the food suggested not to come again(really, I am not making it up). We found the place based on the great reviews, and I honestly have no idea how this place can be rated highly. One star for what it is trying to be. My mom taught me not to say anything if I don’t have something nice to say. Sorry, mamma.

Very nice atmosphere for local restaurant. Good service and authentic Italian food. Excellent Sicilian and thin crust pizzas. All dishes are good. Bread is great. No complaints so far.

The food is good, but every time we order the food is cold upon delivery. I have to turn on my oven and heat it up before we eat. I think this will be the last time I order. It would have been nice to have had hot food delivered from here at least once. I like to support local business, but I also like to get what I pay for.

My friend recommended this place & I do too. Took my daughter & a few friends for a low key birthday celebration. I called ahead for reservations for 8. They sat us in their party room and we were very comfy. Service was excellent. It’s BYOB so I did bring my own bottle for dinner. Raul, our waiter kindly provided us with wine glasses, opened our bottle & poured our wine. We also brought our own cake. Raul brought cake out on a platter, lit the candles & dimmed the lights while he lead the birthday song for my daughter. He made her birthday celebration so special! Food was delicious and the service was excellent! I’m definitely going back soon!

We went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and wanted to try a place close to home. I picked up a bottle of wine from next door and headed in since it was BYOB, major plus. We were greeted kindly and excorted to a quiet table in the corner. We started with some mozzarella and fresh tomatoes for an appetizer which was great and not too filling. For the main course, I had the shrimp scampi and my wife had the pasta combo. They were both delicious. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse cake which was a nice finishing touch. Our server even helped me sing happy birthday to my wife. The ambiance was great for a romantic date night. We had the pleasure of having Mandy as our server, and I believe she is also one of the owners. She took tremendous care of us and it was very much appreciated. Some of the best service we have had at any restaurant. Truly great service. We went back the next day and ordered some pizza to go which was tasted great while relaxing and watching football. Needless to say we shall be back soon.

Italian standards please everyone that comes. Ask for extra sauce if you order the spaghetti — they’ll happily oblige. The Cacciatore on my last visit was the best ever. Specialty entrees like the Carciofi and the Arrabiatta have never disappointed. Escargot are not swimming in butter; it’s the pink/orangish sauce — I get it, this is Italian, not French, just be warned. Sicilian style pizza is great. BYOB with no surcharge. Professional yet charming service. It may be a «café», but it treats like a fine restaurant.

The food, I have no idea how it taste because I made an online order and it was delivery with mushrooms, which I asked for no mushrooms. I’m allergic. So I called told me that would bring me another, I had to go to work so I couldn’t do that. THEN the manager finally said he would let me order one whenever I needed it. I called today the OWNER tells me yea but I have to come get it because I’m not going to tip. I work in the service industry, I tip VERYWELL! The owner is the one doing deliveries!!! Why would I tip?!? You are the owner of the company!!! I refuse to give this company my business and honestly I usually always give fantastic reviews, not this time!!!
