I moved to California years ago and every time I come back to Ohio I have to stop in to to eat. the food is absolutely amazing… the soups are the best, I have not had such amazing and flavorful Hot and sour soup anywhere. the egg rolls are delicious, crispy and tasteful. the main courses are delightful in taste the the portions are plentiful. The group of five i was with ordered the garlic chicken, walnut chicken, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken and we added tofu to it, and the three delicacies. the food were all so flavorful and delicious. the sauces were like nothing I’ve tasted before… each dish had its own individual taste and all filled with different assortments of veggies. i am never disappointed whenever I come here. the prices are reasonable. the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of all the dishes. they are very accommodating. I recommend the spring roll appetizers although all are very good. their hot and sour soup is always on point and their egg drop soup is top notch too. Mongolian beef and garlic chicken are amazing and the two paired together is really good… it’s like two peas in a pod. next time I’m in town, I will definitely make a stop here!!!

This place is great for Americanized Chinese food. Portions are good, not to greasy, and the price is right. When i’m in the mood for junk food this place is a go to. I feel like it is better than all the Chinese in Gahanna where I live.

For a guilty pleasure in Reynoldsburg where dining options suck, but not as much as everything there, Happy Dragon is easily the to-go Americanized Chinese joint. Cheap, big portions, and a salt/MSG overdose to go with your food coma. Get the #1 combo with General Tso’s and veggie lo mein. Forget about the one in German Village; I tried the lo mein there and was very disappointed that it did not have the same flavorful sauce and scallions that this location has. Reynoldsburg can boast, however, that is has better Chinese than Downtown and German Village(not to mention better vegan food: another silver lining). This is easily the best of the two Happy Dragons(pretty sure this one is happier since the food tastes much better), but unless you live out here there are plenty of equal to vastly superior and more authentic options along N High if you live in the real part of Columbus. If you want to go all out pick up some Mountain Dew to top it off don’t expect to operate any heavy machinery.

My first touch with Chinese food came from here, some 10-odd years ago. It was one of the only places in Reynoldsburg at the time, and it was so close to wear I lived! I could tell everyone to turn down Lancaster based on the Happy Dragon sign that used to dominate the corner of Main and Lancaster. But somewhere between the sign getting knocked over, 10 years, and new owners, Happy Dragon has lost all charm(and taste) in my book. Maybe it was never very good to begin with and my then young and naïve tongue didn’t know the difference. Happy Dragon is the epitome of bland, dry, boring and above all just plain bad. My memories of War Su Gai(see, I used to order something other than General Tso’s!) was that of tender meat with a thick and tasty gravy. The last time I tried it here the meat was tough and dry and no amount of the gravy would restore it to it’s former glory. I would not suggest going to Happy Dragon, even if you’re craving Chinese Food. There are other places in Reynoldsburg now to satisfy that need.
