I ordered takeout, it was done quickly and the pick-up window is awesome. The food isn’t terrible but it certainly isn’t great. Prices are a bit high. Honestly there are many other Chinese options in the area I would try before ordering from here again.

27 years ago when my husband and I lived in Reynoldsburg we used to eat at Double Dragon a couple times a month. Today as we were driving back to our home near Cincinnati on our way back from NYC, we were passing through and looking for restaurant suggestions on Unilocal for dinner, and lo and behold Double Dragon was listed with good reviews. We had to stop! What we first found out, is their original location was gone, along with the 2 big dragons that day out front. Even though that was a little sad for us, the food more than made up for it. The portions were very large and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the amount of chicken was unbelievable! Most Chinese restaurants in our area skimp on the meat, so this was a pleasant surprise. He said the veggies were perfect too. Our daughter and I had the General Tso chicken, and it was wonderful! Don’t hesitate to eat here. Good food at good prices.

Double Dragon is my favorite Asian restaurant in The Burg. The food is consistently good; the owners are friendly; and, the restaurant is immaculately clean. I am a fan of the Thai section of their enormous menu. The phad thai is excellent and the cook will adjust the level of spiciness to your taste. If you order from the dinner menu, expect to have leftovers for your next day’s lunch. They have a small bar set up at the register if you need a mixed drink, but I suggest you stick to one of a handful of import beers or keep sipping the never empty water glass they provide.

First and last time here. I ordered takeout during my lunch ½ hour and was really craving Chinese food. It was $ 10 for Chicken Lo Mein and a spring roll. When I opened the container it smelled like urine and made me gag. I didn’t even try one bite. The spring roll was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting all day. Big waste of time and money.

When you’re in the mood for Chinese, don’t want to spend a lot of money on fine dining but want something better than Chinese fast food, this is the place! I’ve been twice, had the Mongolian chicken and it was fantastic, second time I had the shrimp with vegetables, both delicious and generous. Both times I got carryout though it looked like it would be a nice place to eat in, too. They do have some Thai options for lunch now, a drive thru, and delicious egg rolls! Probably 4.5 stars here, definitely worth the stop if you’re in the Reynoldsburg area.

7WORDS; Gently Upscale Dining /Traditional Yet Consistently Good A PLEASANTWEDNESDAYAFTERNOONINOCTOBER There are only a few places to eat along the entire length of Main Street between Hamilton Road and Route 310 and that’s unfortunate, because Reynoldsburg could use quite a few more dining options and a lot more loyalty from its hometown folk. Still, that doesn’t diminish the quality off the two Chinese restaurants in Reynoldsburg(Double Dragon being one and Jade’s being the other). Maybe those are the two reasons that Double Dragon has been around for over two decades. Our order was pretty much middle of the road: Moo Goo Gai Pan, General Tso’s Chicken, and a couple of egg rolls. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is exactly what you’d expect: pressed chicken and Chinese vegetables in a white sauce. The General Tso’s Chicken was also one of the garden variety mixes; caramelized chicken bites with black peppers but without the green onions/scallions. Saying just that, however, is not enough. Both dishes had tender pieces of chicken and the vegetables of the Moo Goo Gai Pan had a decent crunchy bite and the sauces for both dishes were delicious as well. Onward to the egg rolls… Well, the fanfare isn’t so great for these little treats. They were the average size, but the outer wrapper was a little soggy and the vegetables were also exactly what you’d expect: slaw and carrots and pork bits. Nothing about the eggr4olls were outstanding and they didn’t taste homemade at all. TIP: We ordered the lunch portion and I’ve never been able to tell the difference in sizes between the two. Maybe this is why the place is always crowded during lunch. Regardless of all my quibbles, this place is always worth a stop if you’re on the east side and are in the mood for some fine Chinese stir-fry.

Not bad. I got some takeout from here yesterday, the home style tofu and the mala bean chicken. It was quick and reasonably priced. Both dishes were tasty, but not phenomenal. The staff was nice when I picked up. My major bone with them was that the food came in these styrofoam containers — the food had melted portions of the styrofoam so that it was warped. Now, I like my food hot. But the idea of melted styrofoam in my food was a little ick. Maybe I’ll just eat in next time?

Horrible food. There were 5 of us and only 1 was happy with their food. We threw almost everything away. Upon arrival, a man sitting in a booth was obviously upset we were interrupting his break and, without getting up from his table, asked how many in our party. Still without getting up, he pointed and told us to just sit somewhere. We decided to just get takeout and go home. The lady at the counter was even more rude, acting like we were completely inconveniencing her with the items we were choosing(nothing special about anything). The only good thing I have to say is that the place was clean.

Really good egg rolls are hard to find. This place has them. I haven’t had a entrée from there yet that I haven’t liked.

I think I found a new favorite for take out. Portions are huge, the egg rolls & crab ran goons are delicious. Very good & very reasonable. They have a lot to choose from on the menu. I ordered pad Thai. Didn’t even make a dent in it and I’m stuffed. It was so flavorful! My boyfriend went with the trusty sweet & sour chicken and it was different. Not the typical thick goo that is sweet & sour. Different flavor. Very very good.

Yeah, for the most part, all these«Chinese» places are the same. If you took Hunan Chicken from 4 different restaurants, I truly doubt anyone could tell the difference… until now. This place stands out. Their crab Rangoon has sizable junks of crab meat in it, and the shells are pastry like. Their egg rolls are more authentic as well… different from the usual offerings. My Hunan Chicken was very good, with real good high quality Teriyaky sauce. We will be returning.

Double Dragon has the corner on the market when it comes to chinese food and service. I’ve had 30% of the menu and I’ve never had a dish I didn’t love. This restaurant is known for their szechuan dishes. I would stack their szechuan dishes up against any chinese restaurant in the entire metropolitan area. After only a couple visits, the woman who owns the restaurant already knows me BYNAME! Try that at any typical restaurant. The service is that of a 4 star restaurant. If you don’t like the food here, you either have no palate or you’re lost in a coma. They even have a drive thru to make take home chinese a breeze. If you haven’t tried this place, you only have you to blame… it’s incredible! Finally, the prices for lunch portions are extremely reasonable. The dinner sized prices are right about average with what you’d expect.

Best Mongolian Chicken on the planet, hands down! Just had my one hundreth serving of it(wonder if I get a prize for that accomplishment?). Will return 100 more times I am sure. I can’t speak to many other dishes there, but why should I? When you find a winner of a meal you stick with it!

This place served as Christmas Night Feast for me and the special lady this past holiday season and while no one sang«Deck the Harrs» for us or serve us a still-smiling duck, we did get a second round of presents to take home, unwrap, and wonder at. Hooray Christmas! All in all, though, this wasn’t the best present of the day. I got sweet and sour pork and it was decent, but I deduct serious points for the place having just poured a bit of sweet and sour sauce over my wonderfully battered pork, instead of providing me a large cup of sauce I could drown my pork in before drinking the resulting soggy mess– this being the customary way of eating sweet and sour pork by the Chinese Emperors, so I am told. The place as a, uh, place was a bit cramped for my taste. It’s a very small dining room with a thoroughly desperate number of tables and chairs crammed in to it. You have to kind of wade through it all to get to the counter and order for take-out, but we navigated safely for all that. It doesn’t get much more 3-Stars than this, folks. You can do much worse for Chinese fare(especially in Reynoldsburg) but you can definitely do much better, as well(perhaps even in Reynoldsburg).
