I visited this establishment for the first time and I must say, the food is very good. I ordered an egg roll which was delicious, and the wor su gui was out of this wold. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing eggrolls. The orange dipping sauce is a nice change from the usual gelatinous red sweet and sour at most places. The Singapore Noodles never fail to impress. They are the best I’ve had just about anywhere. If I don’t have the noodles, which is rare, the Egg Foo Young is delicious. The«yellow gravy» is so flavorful, which I have found lacking in many restaurants. It will continue to be our go-to takeout for a long time to come.

I’m a long-time fan of Sun Tong Luck; I’ve been coming here since Helena & her husband owned it in the 90s. By far, my favorite Hong Kong style food until now. Something is off these past few months? The quality of the food and the consistency of the taste of each dish is decidedly off. My favorite is Sui Mei Deluxe(not on the menu) but yesterday it was horrible; the Spring Rolls were oily and flavorless. The staple Hot & Sour soup was also a disappointment — the recipe has definitely been changed for the worse, not one morsel of meat in the broth. Probably most shocking, I found what owner, Kevin, says was«bone fragments» in my Sui Mei! While explaining it to me, he didn’t even apologize or attempt to take it back, he just said«it happens sometimes». I’m truly disappointed. For years I’ve overlooked the truly shabby décor(nothing has been upgraded or renovated since 2000 — a bit of paint but crappy booths & chairs, torn light fixtures, and messy, truly messy storage be in restaurant and behind the service bar). I’ve overlooked the appearances here because the food was great. Maybe the shabby and disarrayed appearance is the true indicator of their quality — they just don’t care anymore. I can’t overlook or accept that.

My pepper steak was horrible. I threw it out after taking a couple bites. The crab ragoons were not good at all. Very little crab or cream cheese in them. My wife said her general saos chicken was good. I will not be back to this place. It’s very hard to find a good Chinese restaurant in Columbus.

Great food, dicey location these days. If they would move to Picktown, the business would really take off. I think they are happy with the business they have and have no interest in expanding… really fresh food and so inexpensive… great choice…
