I am so grateful to the three staff who accommodated my order at 8:58pm yesterday evening. My signature salad and tbm sandwich were delicious(as always!) and the staff were gracious despite having to stay open past 9 to feed my stomach and my soul. As silly as it sounds it restored my faith in humanity since they easily could have sent me away, hungry, into the night… I will absolutely be back(earlier in the evening) soon!

Came here after ice skating for 5 hours. It is literally COSI. The service is great, clean tables, no crumbs anywhere! My buddies and I ordered the smores for a little snack, they gave us extra! Extra everything especially a free mojito, I don’t know if they’re allowed to do that, pero that’s one way to bring back customers.

This place is the bomb in terms of breakfast. Squagels. These are square bagels and they do these to perfection with plenty of variety, from different bread variety, cheese and jalapeño is my personal favourite with the breakfast filling of egg, bacon and tomato. Wednesdays are free coffee Wednesdays. It’s not amazing coffee by any means, but it’s free for any size, so you’re saving at least $ 2. Décor is nice. The place doesn’t have wifi, so you’ll need to steal from a nearby business. Service can be a little slow in the branches that have less than 3 employees. But lets go back to the squagels. They are so damn good they almost take the score themselves.

I love Cosi in Reston, VA. Each year I work a conference in the Reston– Cosi is my go to spot. I love the adobo chicken bown with grains. It is so good. I cant wait until next conference, since I dont know of a Cosi here in Southern Cali.

I like this place. I read some of the other reviews and it almost stopped me from going. I’m glad I decided to go. It was during lunch time and the place was slow. As soon as we walked in the door the cashier greeted us with a smile. I couldn’t see the menu so well as I don’t like to wear my glasses much. So the cashier told me a few of his favorites and asked what I was in the mood for. I told him I’d like half a salad with warm chicken. He suggested one and said he will make sure the chicken is warm. We found our table and with in 5 – 10 minuets our food was at the table. The atmosphere was quiet around 1:30 so maybe we just missed the lunch rush. All in all we had a good experience and will be back.

It is pretty generic fast casual restaurant in Reston that caters to the working crowd during lunch time. I have been here a few times to get different salad. Food is average when you are tired of your chipotle or sweetgreen, then you can come here to switch things up. They offer some healthy yet tasty salads too. I always get the vegetarian salad called smartfit. It is quite fulfilling and the avocado/guacamole is yummy! With that said, another favorite of mine is the multigrain bread. The multigrain flat bread usually comes with the salad or you can order a sandwich on top it. Their bread has great chew to it and is made fresh here. It always comes warm and fresh. I am a big fan. Other than that, service is also good. One lady is always very friendly and I wish I knew her name. Overall, not a bad place to get lunch in Reston town center.

Came in for lunch looked like a tornado came by it was so dirty in here, no clean table around. I decided to take my food to go. But the server behind the cash register was really nice. She looked so overwhelmed but still trying to give her best. I had the taste 2 pepperoni pizza & Shanghai chicken salad. Food was ok, took sometime before it was ready.

If you like Las Vegas or Atlantic City and the games of chance, then step right up because this is the place for you. Place your bets on how long it will take to get your food. It could be quick or it could be tomorrow. Place your bets on what percentage of your order is right. It might be 100% or it might close in on 50%. Place your bets on whether the cold is hot and the hot is cold. And we won’t even talk about whether your table is clean because it’s a sure bet it’s not. I love Cosi. The one on Connecticut Avenue near Dupont Circle in DC is fab. The food is generally fab. But this location seems to have real issues. And other Unilocal reviews seem to bear this out. With so many other choices available in Reston Town Center I’d head to Panera Bread or Starbucks or any of the many fine resturants in the Center before I’d go back to Cosi. Even Subway, not known for either ambience or quality, would be better because you know exactly what you are going to get when you walk in the door. And it won’t be $ 7.00 for a sandwich. Enjoy if you must but you’re better off going elsewhere.

Over the last two weeks I have visited Cosi several time. Despite panera being a closer walk from work i don’t mind walking down the street to Cosi because of the ambiance and service. I have had the pleasure of being greeted and helped by Winston on multiple occasions and cannot say enough about his amazing hospitality. The sandwiches are great and they have a unique s’mores treat dessert where you can roast your own marshmallows!

I love Cosi and I really should visit more. I have visited the Reston Town Center location several times over the years, at totally random times of day/evening and have always had great food and service. The staff always go out of their way to help me when I can’t locate my rewards card or the like. My fav is the Turkey/Bacon melt! Yum! The bread helps make the sandwich. Cosi was my treat after a long day of studying when I was in grad school.

This place has gone downhill! We used to eat here frequently but have not been in over a year. I stopped in on 6⁄3 to get a salad to go and it was absolutely terrible. Decided to try the Smart Fit salad as the description and picture looked very good. Well, the cashier messed up my order and charged me for a full salad when I had ordered only a ½. He said he could get someone to correct it but, even though I was one of about 3 people in the entire restaurant and there were at least 4 – 5 visible employees at the time, it was clear this would be a long process so I decided to keep the oder and charge as is. Now the best part — when I went to eat my salad, it was absolutely horrible. Instead of kale, the salad was made of completely of wilted, soggy romaine that was also mostly the pale, center, rib section. The few sweet potato chunks were soggy and chewy — tasted as if they were made days ago and kept in a sealed plastic bag full of moisture. The other items that were supposed to be in the salad were basically impossible to find. Ended up throwing it out and wasting the $ 10 I paid as it was just too soggy and tasteless to even eat. What a disappointment. I won’t be returning and, ironically, had gone in there originally to get a catering menu for a large business meeting lunch. This is too bad — food used to be quite good at Cosi. Definitely do not recommend.

I really enjoy Cosi however this location has turned me off. This is by far the worst location I’ve ever been to and some of the worst quality of food and service I’ve ever received from this chain. Efficiency and speed don’t depend on day or time of day you’re there… it is terrible all the time. I’ve been there during a weekday lunch, weekday evening and weekend lunch and dinner time, each time believing maybe I came at the wrong time the last time. NOPE. Each trip we order more/less the same items — 2 salads. It always takes at least 15 minutes to order and get out of there. We could be the only people in the place and the staff outnumbers us and it still takes that long. The last straw for me was our last visit when I ordered their Signature salad and I asked them to remove the cranberries and just put in some extra grapes instead — something I order all the time. This has never changed the price of the salad but the cashier in this case decided to charge us an extra dollar. Also, the bread that they give on the side had basically been sitting out all afternoon so by the time it was given to us, it was like a hard cracker. How is this place still in business? They need a major staff overhaul and need to hire people that actually care about customer service.

I went today to Cosi to meet some friends that I have not seen in a long time. I have never been there before although I have heard good things over the years. I had checked out the menu ahead of time to be sure there was a good variety for our little group. I arrived early and I felt like I was a long term client. I am not sure of the person’s name, but I felt as if he was a manager or a shift leader was phenomenal. He was very attentive and when I indicated I had never been explained many of the items to me. He also provided a sample of the turkey chili and it was very very tasty. I ordered the stuffed portobello bowl with lettuce and no rice(I can’t eat rice). It was DELICIOUS! My friends ordered: Smoky BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza — it looked wonderful and my friend definitely thought so. Another friend ordered: small chicken caesar salad and ½ melt sandwich(I can’t remember which one) — she loved it. My other friend ordered: Bacon, Turkey and Cheddar Melt… DELICIOUS. I must admit my order did get messed up the first time and rice was part of the dish. They immediately took it back and created a new dish. We finished our meal by splitting a S’mores for two as we were celebrating birthdays. They provided this for free because they had messed up my dish which I did not expect. Overall, it was a nice quiet place for a Sunday afternoon to talk and catch up. I can see where this place would be busy as heck during the work week. The service was very good and they checked on us as we sat there to be sure we did not need anything. I will definitely go again — especially on a weekend.

Always a sure bet at Cosi. Food is great and nice to count on when traveling. This is especially a great location and a very roomy dining area — probably the largest Cosi I have been to — nice atmosphere and room to sit, enjoy lunch and talk. Great place to meet. Always enjoy the melt sandwiches and the classic signature salad. Be sure to get a free Cosi card and swipe each visit to earn points towards a free meal!

I deliberated between giving them a 1 or 2 but after asking my wife and child to weigh in on the rating, I gave them a 1. Here’s why they’re #1…which isn’t good on Unilocal. 1. The person working the register was friendly enough but not everyone working here is friendly or attentive. We asked for a dirty table to be cleaned and ended up having to clean the table after the guy finished because the only thing he did was sweep some of the trash from under the table and wipe the table top crumbs onto the seat. 2. The coffee was good but wasn’t hot. 3. The pastries weren’t warmed up and were served straight out out of the refrigerator. The person behind the counter offered to warm it up and put caramel sauce on the bread pudding but the person who prepared the order forgot to do so. 4. The highlight of the meal was supposed to be the smores platter but the flame went out before the last two marshmallows could be melted and that pretty much sealed the deal on the experience. On a positive note they’re in a great location in the Reston Town Center. If they ever get their act together they should have similar success to Panera or Corner Bakery.

Friendly service! I came in on a Friday around 2pm for lunch. I ordered a tuna melt with multi grain bread. Sandwich didn’t look like much but once I was finished I was satisfied.

Thank goodness Sweet Green is there. This Cosi should just close. Burnt bread. Consistently gets orders wrong. Skimpy on toppings of salads, which are made with wilty vegetables, not at all fresh. And then there’s the ugly attitude of one manager who argues she’s not rude when you call her out on her rudeness(not to mention her disgusting appearance is HIGHLY unappetizing and makes patrons lose their appetite –just sloppy). Chris, you tried well to make up for your store’s mistakes, but your staff and food fail brilliantly. Zero stars actually but Unilocal required I pick one.

I’m generally a big fan of Cosi(have loved it since I first tried it in 2011), but this Cosi location is awful! I visited recently and the service was just terrible. The person at the cash register was very unhelpful and not friendly. It seemed as though she felt she was inconvenienced by having to assist customers and take their orders… I ordered something very simple — a small cup of their tomato soup — but my order took forever. When they finally called my name, the order was wrong. They gave me both soup and salad. I told them I had only ordered the soup and it took them another few minutes for them to simply give me my soup. Quite a hassle, very rude service, and just not worth visiting again. I’d recommend going to Panera Bread instead of Cosi, if you want to visit that sort of place in the Reston Town Center.

Tried to have a nice simple dinner date out on a day that was finally above 60 degrees. First, I waited in line for about 20 min, and there were only 2 people ahead of me. Second, they were basically out of everything we tried to order; even a pepperoni flatbread pizza. The cashier was still nice & tried to help us order something else. Okay, so we found a nearby table sat down and waited. About 10 minutes in, I was pretty much wondering where my food was. Went up to ask about my 2 smoothies, they didn’t even start making them yet. Sat back down, waited. 10 more minutes pass by, we got one smoothie and the table of 4 behind us who came in at least 15 min after us got their order. OK getting upset now. My 1 smoothie was a mix of the 2 smoothies I wanted; 1 strawberry and 1 mango. The guy thought I wanted a strawberry mango. Hence the 1 smoothie only part. OK fixed it and he’s making us 1 more. I sit back down and wait. and wait. The table of 4 girls who literally came in half an hour after we sat down and waited got their food. I got pissed. Went up and asked why our food wasn’t ready. Listen to this. They haven’t even started making our order. Then an excuse was made how we placed an order but it never went through their system. Really? About 10 – 15 other people ordered after us and got theirs fine. Even the people who ordered before us got theirs. Why just OURS didn’t go through. It’s because im Asian isn’t it. Lol seriously man. Lame excuse. First time here for me, heard the food and atmosphere was nice. It will probably be the last too. I gave it 2 stars because the manager was polite and nice enough to give us half off for the inconvenience. He wasn’t rude at all. They were definitely short staff and supplies –_– we eventually got our food to go. I waited about 50 minutes in total now, I might as well wait some more. I will probably wait a while before going back though. Guess we’ll see how the next time goes. Maybe.

Cosi is great on it’s own. This location however, has a bar! Bonus! Wine, outdoor seating, great people watching spot on a nice day. The woman working the particular evening we were there was awesome. Checked on us as if we were in a restaurant and even picked up our empty plates when we finished. That was a nice touch for a Cosi. Also, clean restrooms! We’ll be back!
