Good, consistent quality from having ordered take out from here several times. Have tried the chicken curry and Mongolian chicken — both good. Spice level 3 on 5 hits the right spot for me as I used to spicy Indian food. Those who prefer mild spice should go for 2. During lunch, you can request for dinner portions.

Most people that giving good rating here is probably middle age American. They like no taste or sweet food only. If you are chinese, you probably know this isn’t an authentic chinese restaurant once you look at their menu. Personally I rly don’t like chinese restaurant making American food. I give one star because at least their service is good enough.

The dim sum pork buns seemed like they may have been microwaved and not steamed so I gave this place a 3 star because of that. The atmosphere is casual, great for a quick lunch or dinner but wouldn’t bring a date here. The inside is nice and clean with a moderate level of decoration.

My husband and I decided to have food here again after over three years and we were very happy with our food. We shared Chef Special Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef and Egg Rolls. The fried ride was great: lots of meat and not too oily. The Mongolian Beef was also delicious. Big and thick slices of a good meat and not too much onions, since some restaurants add onions on half of the dish. However the egg rolls was a disappointment. I used to order a lot of those because they are big, tasty, and not too oily, but the one we got was dropping on oil. I guess they broke while fried and all the oil went inside the rolls. We had to roll them on paper towel and squeeze. The paper towel sheet was soaked. :( Besides that we are for sure coming back here. The guy answering the phone was very polite and we could see he was very happy to take out order. That made us happy as well :)

Another adventure my hubby and I took– the ultimate foodies are becoming successful with their choices. We ordered Mongolian chicken, that came with a small bowl of steamed rice. I wish there was a little bit more rice but the chicken had a delicious sauce with onions, green onions and slices of chicken. We asked for 4⁄5 spicy level. Although it wasn’t quite spicy, our table had spicy Chilli flakes with soy sauce. We added that and our chicken was the perfect spice level. Yum. I also ordered hot and sour soup which was made of egg and vegetables. It was filled with so much flavor. It was perfect! I will def go again to try something different from the menu. The quantity was chicken was good to share between two. Prices were okay.

This place is not very good. It’s below average Chinese food. The egg rolls are possibly the worst I’ve ever had. Literally just deep fried cabbage. I live in the area and have given this place a few tries and have always been disappointed. You’re much better off making the drive to Redmond if you want quality Chinese.

Wow, the reviews are all over the scale for Ming’s. Perhaps, like many restaurants it has to do with timing and who’s cooking that day. For some reason, I’ve found many Chinese restaurants to be inconsistent in the quality of the food. We have ordered takeout food about five times, and have always been pleased. I personally feel that their roast duck is the best item on the menu, followed by the sesame beef and Ming’s chow mein. I’ve tried many items on the menu and have never been displeased. The to-go portions are very large; two of us cannot finish one entrée. I haven’t found their food overly greasy, like some other reviewers. If you like your food spicy, and they ask you to rate the heat level from 1 to 5, tell them 7.

Thanks to Unilocal,I had been wanting to try out Ming’s Garden for quite some time. But good reviews can be misleading, as this example clearly demonstrates. I did not suppose that this would be a mediocre Americanized Chinese restaurant. Ah, who am I kidding if I actually thought anything of quality would be way out here? Put simply, this place sucks. That doesn’t stop the swaths of people from coming here, though. The menu should have made it obvious. Everything is too expensive. Bad Chinese restaurants also tend to be overpriced. Nevertheless, I ordered their third dinner combination with the soup of the day, barbecue pork, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, and pork fried rice for $ 13.95. What a disaster just waiting to happen. Good Chinese restaurants never combine so many unlike items into one dish; these things should always be kept separate. The soup was a mess and contained some pieces of crunchy chicken eggshell, or at least what I assumed was eggshell. The rest of the dinner was horrendous. The fried rice was bland, the barbecue pork was cold(perhaps intentionally so, but I’ll never know), the sweet and sour chicken wasn’t even done right(it was just some chicken with the sauce lazily poured over it), and the Mongolian beef could have broken a world record in greasiness. About 20% of this food was inedible. That Mongolian beef left over so much grease that the pile left sitting in my plate after I was done didn’t look like it had much less food on it than when I started. Disgusting. Look at the picture for yourself. I don’t even know what they wanted me to do with the bowl of seeds and sauce they included. There is no authenticity to this restaurant, and you can tell that they try to be something they’re not. They charge unreasonable prices to make you think the restaurant is something special. Don’t be fooled. At least it’s in the middle of nowhere, but Silver Spoon nearby is better so you might as well go there for food instead.

The food is good full of flavor and tasty But went to the bathroom and saw cool use the facility and then leave without washing his hands, when I talked to manager they didn’t care, after I got over that months later I went back and got some to go food and I tipped the server 2 dollars on 5 and he didn’t say thank you to me or smile 5 minutes later he just said here’s your food. Personally I found this rude and don’t think I’ll be back, if you don’t appreciTe me or washing your hands I’ll have to let the awesome food go

We ordered the spring rolls which were amazing. We ordered the tofu with veggies and told the waiter which veggies we wanted and didn’t and we ordered the brown sauce with 3 stars. This is the best version of tofu family that I have ever eaten in my life. My other sister got the chicken with mixed veggies. It was a clear sauce which is also the best version of a clear sauce I have ever had. We are so looking forward to going back and cannot wait for Raymond to wait on us again. Bravo Ming’s Garden. You were well worth the drive from Bellevue.

Below average strip mall Chinese, not worth going to. Bland stale food, and inconsistent service. No one will ever come check up on you.

This place used to be so good, it used to be the best Chinese place around. Lately though its been much lower quality. After that car went through the front this place seriously went down.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever ate at. My favorite dishes are: Mongolian beef or broccoli beef, sesame chicken, honey glazed walnut prawns, sweet and sour pork, chicken with mixed vegetables(moo goo gai pan) and General Tso’s chicken. They cook their beef perfectly. It melts in your mouth. The only complaint I have is that when you order takeout, they seem to give you less than if you were to sit down and eat. I can only assume they do this because people are less likely to include tips for a pickup. It’s very annoying and seemingly unfair, though. One time I paid the same exact price I would if I would have sat down and got probably half of the food. Anyway, their food is incredible and I wouldn’t want to eat at another Chinese place.

Staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is nice but the food is the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I give this place a chance to improve once a year. I’ve been there about 3 times and the food either has no flavor or is just fat and cartilage.

The food here is very good. The reason I gave a two stars is due to the lack of food when you order to go. Their family portions are very small when you order to go vs. eating in. I suggest if you are going to order to go, that you order individual portions. This will give you more food than ordering the family combos.

Very good Chinese food and a nicely designed interior space located in a suburban upscale shopping center at Redmond Ridge. I ordered general’s chicken, Mongolian beef, walnut prawns and rice. All tasted excellent when served and the«left overs» were even better the next day. The service was excellent and I would eat here again when I am next in the Seattle area.

After spending a day in the greater Redmond area we ended up at this spot. For those of you passing through, Redmond Ridge is the official location of overpaid Microsoft professionals. I’m not going to say they aren’t smart, but if you are 25, single and can afford a home in excess of 1 Million dollars, and your name ain’t Zuckerberg, someone is paying you too much. We walked into Ming’s and the entire staff stood at attention like that final scene in Kill Bill. Based on the previous set up, I’ll just assume that they are not used to seeing Black people, especially since neighboring towns Duval and Carnation are not know for diversity. We sat down under the watchful eye of staff. We got a couple combo’s Mongolian Beef, Sweat and Sour something, soup and appetizer. I told my server that I eat fire and I need my plate 10 Star. He laughed and said he would see what he could do. I told him if that plate wasn’t sizzling with flames it was about to be his azz. He smiled and went into the kitchen. He brought the food about 5 minutes later. I have to admit it was pretty damn good. Of course somewhere along the way someone ignored my plea to season it with the heat of the sun, but I killed the chili oil on the table which made the entire staff take notice. Not sure how soon I’ll be back seeing as this location is out of the way, but I left them with two tips. #1, a small tip based on the fact that the food was not prepared to my liking and #2, If I got to ask twice for them to bring the heat, it won’t pre pretty when I return. Check these cats out, they might not listen too goo, but they serve an authentic plate and that is really rare for this region.

Crab ragoons are by far the best I’ve had in Redmond. Fresh they smell like the tastiest of fried doughnuts. The red dipping sauce they come with is very cherry-like, so combine the two and you get a creamy crispy inside out cherry doughnut! :-D The orange chicken is only mildly spicy, so for me it could be spicier. There is also a odd sub-flavor that would be better replaced with something more orangish. I can only describe it as teriyaki-esque. Prices are decent as well $ 10-$ 20 with Lunch specials about $ 8ish, and BONUS… they take Discover. :-D Definitely go for the ragoons though.
