Hector is gone. New staff doesn’t understand what’s on their menu. Food looked so bad we left without eating it. This used to be our favorite place. Sad face.

This place used to be great. Best spicy teriyaki around. It had been a month or two since I’d been and thought I’d stop in a week ago. The place must be under new management or something as I don’t recognize anyone behind the counter. The sauce is now cheap and watered down. The spicy teriyaki was not spicy at all. The chicken isn’t the same quality. I thought last week must have been a fluke, so stopped in again today. Again, not a single familiar face and same cheap food as before. I’m really bummed as this was the BEST teriyaki. Wish I could find out if the old management opened up a new place.

Warning! These owners are dishonest. A dishonest owner could do anything to save a buck on your food. Stay clear. I went there today because of their sign which has been up since they opened advertising $ 6.99 teriyaki plate. The woman behind the counter said the teriyaki plate is $ 7.99 not $ 6.99. When I told her that the sign out front said the lower price she indicated she knew nothing of any sign. She went to get the owner who also told me he didn’t know anything about any sign. When I pushed and said you’re the owner? And you don’t know anything about a sign in front of your restaurant with the name of your restaurant, he said«we just bought the property and that is the old sign.» When I asked him how long he’s on the property and fast that it was one year. When I asked his worker or if other people come in and ask about the sign she said«yes, but we don’t sell it for that price.» I do not care about a dollar, $ 6.99 or $ 7.99 really makes no difference. But the dishonesty over one dollar? That to me is a warning flag that will stop me from eating there and advise anyone I meet not to eat there as well. Warning: dishonest business.

I got the spicy teriyaki and dumped more spicy sauce on it and still didn’t find it very spicy, if anything it was more salty. I got a to go order, so my salad was a lot smaller so I was kind of bummed about that. Other than that, I did like that it had that smoky grill flavor.

Really good food, you can see inside the kitchen when you order and it looks really clean. The staff is pretty nice too! Probably the cleanest teriyaki place I’ve ever been to. I’m usually very picky about how clean a food place is! Good job guys. Keep it like this.

The taste of the food is not exceptional but it is an exceptional value overall considering portion, price, and friendliness. The food is not yuck by any means.

This place is so great! You get the grill BBQ smell from the food. That doesn’t happen at the other teriyaki places I’ve been to in Redmond. I always ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side because I feel that the sauce is too strong for me. My husband’s go to is the chicken katsu. I love it here.

Doesn’t get any better than this. Great food, great service! I think it’s the best teriyaki place on the Eastside.

Delicious teriyaki! Perfect mix of salty sweet. I have been on the hunt for good teriyaki for awhile and have always been disappointed. This place is now my go to teriyaki restaurant! The ginger salad dressing is also good as are the vegetable spring rolls. Nice and crunchy. From the outside you wouldn’t suspect this place to be so good, it’s attached to a mini mart, but it’s a hidden gem! Very nice people working there too!

Let’s start this off with a disclaimer… I am probably one of the biggest teriyaki snobs to ever exist. That said, I hit up this place for lunch on Tuesday before my doctor’s appointment and let’s just say it was well worth it! Since I wanted to be able to comment on more than one item, I got the combo with chicken teriyaki and General Tso’s for $ 8.99. Delicious! One bite of each and I was totally hooked. This place replaced my past #1 in a heartbeat and I’m ready to go back. Portions were more than generous and the service was friendly. Granted, it literally shares space with a convenience store, but I am totally willing to overlook that with these flavor profiles.

FRIEDRICE. As a teriyaki enthusiast Sunny Teriyaki is always my go to spot for chicken fried rice. It’s the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The original teriyaki and rice is also tasty, though similar to other places, and I’ve had better stuff. But for fried rice, this is IT. Call ahead and they’re always ready to go. Fast, friendly service. Also, OPENONSUNDAYS!

I’m a regular here, I’ve tried other local places looking for spicy teriyaki chicken. Some places the sauce is more vinegar based. I prefer spice and heat over vinegar and this place has that down. For those who want brown rice, yes you have that option. The only thing I don’t like about the spicy teriyaki order is the salad is kind of lame and pointless. I don’t find myself eating it ever. So if you want some veggies with your chicken you are going to be disappointed. Still haven’t found a better place for chicken, but Yummy Teriyaki has tempura which I wish I could find here… Hint hint.

The parking lot here is pretty small and can be difficult to maneuver in with anything larger than a medium sized auto, especially during lunch time. There are very few parking spaces. I had the teriyaki chicken and pork combination. It came with what I consider a standard serving size of meat, salad with the usual mass produced«Japanese» style dressing, and two scoops of rice. The food was tasty and a good price for a filing lunch. I left the issue of the small parking lot out of the star rating as not everyone drives a ¾ ton long wheelbase pickup like I do.

I’m on a mad lovely teriyaki psychotic kick right now. I won’t have bread or pasta so I’m on rice train express to riceland heaven. No complaints!!! Sunny Teriyaki is absolutely what is the hype right now. Perfected moist grilled chicken beast(with that lovely charred and saucy gooey ends yummmmm), and fluffy rice. Simple. Perfect. Love. They also have other rice and salad dishes. I don’t usually order chicken Katsu or cutlet because it’s usually waaay too greasy. But their Katsu was fabulous with no greasiness in sight. How do they deep fry something with no deepfryedness flavor? seriously! O so light and crisp! I’m not in Redmond often, but I’ll definatly will go back here when I’m in town! :D

The husband and I decided to try this place one night we were in the Redmond area. He got the spicy chicken and beef combo teriyaki and I got the pork teriyaki. The meals came with rice and a salad. The salad was really good. I tried all of the meats and the pork was definitely my favorite! This place is in a convenience store which I thought was a tad weird but the food was really good. They have a ton of options and good proportions as well. I definitely will go back and am looking forward to trying more of their dishes as well.

Solid teriyaki joint. It’s actually connected to a mini mart. The food is reasonably priced and the quantities are large. The salad dressing they had was very good. The chicken was fine and not dry. I like that they have Togo boxes and bags all lined up for you already outside.

This is a five-star teriyaki(I took one star away for the ants, which appear to be a problem with the entire building, including Thai 65 two doors down). But unlike Thai 65, the ants stayed on the floor and weren’t crawling on the walls, the table or my dining partner. She and I really didn’t like that at Thai 65, where I gave a 2-star review. Anyway, I love teriyaki and the spicy chicken teriyaki here is really delicious! I especially like the customer service here as the three men are friendly. They can also make things gluten-free, which is cool for me. I love that they have generous portions, good salad, dressing and just the right amount of rice. If/when they get the ants under control I will easily change this to a 5-star review!

It’s a nice teriyaki shop, one of my coworkers’ favorite. They actually went there the day before I tried this place by myself! And, they recommended me! I walked over here from my current office in 10 mins. I love it! Nice walk! It was around 1:30PM ish when I walked in. And, there were two mother and daughter eating there. It looked like they had a great time. The mom actually purchased extra serving of rice to finish the rest of the dishes. It’s a good sign. Well, I was craving for teriyaki chicken. But, for some reason, I ordered chicken katsu curry. Portion was not big, but reasonable, big enough that I can eat two meals without being uncomfortable or hungry. There were veggies and mushrooms in the curry. That’s pretty good. My chicken katsu was good. I spent $ 10 with tips. I would like to go back and try something else since people around me really enjoyed!
