LISTEN!!! I this is not the place you want!!! Trust me… This is not the restaurant that you want to eat at. I am from San Francisco California and I recently moved to the Redmond Washington area and wanted to try a good Chinese restaurant out this way. I looked at the Unilocal reviews and I thought I would give it a try because they seemed to have a lot of good reviews. this place was horrible to say the least I will never eat at this restaurant again. The food was disgusting I paid $ 50 for food that I could not even eat it was seriously the worst food I have ever had in my life. You will be very disappointed if you come to this restaurant please let me save you the time and the money. this was delivered to me the delivery took about 30 minutes which was great but the food was cold and pouring out of the boxes… the boxes were all bent and melting as if the food was super hot at one time… The meat was undercooked and mushy!!! I would not have paid $ 5 for that meal. What a waist of my money… Im pissed. i have no idea why people are on here saying good things. They must have a few friends with Unilocal accounts…

I visited today because I had a taste for Chinese fried rice. I wouldn’t even give 1 star if it allowed me to do so. WORST fried rice EVER in my life that I’ve tasted! No flavor; could not tell if it was brown or white rice with coloring. The greeter had a mouthful of front row teeth & told me it was strictly Chinese & not Vietnamese food at all! Just TERRIBLE fried rice!!! It even made me sick to my stomach!

Love this place! Pretty pricey but you get a decent amount of food and honestly it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Their Kung pao chicken is the kung pao by which I measure all Kung pao. If you’re ever hungover and craving Chinese food get their soup, whatever other food you like and some bubble tea and you’ll be good to go

We had been to this place about a month ago for a weekday lunch. The place is clean and quite spacious and large enough to accommodate big groups too. The entrees are decently priced. However the food that we had was nothing special. My plate of szechuan chicken was not at all spicy — in fact it was quite sweet! Our 2nd order of almond chicken tasted pretty weird and salty and had only a few slices of almond floating on it to justify the name. The service was good and the owner and servers were nice. I just wish the food was better for me to come back!

This is the second time I’ve ordered take-out here. The first time wasn’t good, this time was bad too. My daughter was over and wanted Phở, she eats it frequently and loves it. I have never eaten it, so didn’t know what to expect. She took 4 bites and tossed it, my husband are a little and didn’t finish it, either(he will eat almost anything!). My daughter said the broth was week with very little flavor, the chicken was rubbery and had a ‘chicken’ taste. It seems like a fairly popular place, but we won’t be eating there again and won’t recommend it. There are some great restaurants in Redmond. This one is a waste of time

I have been eating lunch here once in a while since 2013. Probably 30 dining experiences. The décor was good originally — it is starting to look pretty shabby now. The bar shelves are nearly empty. The service is very friendly. They get food out quickly, too. Sometimes your table gets served in intervals which isn’t my favorite thing. I want my food at about the same time as my lunch buddy. That way there is no uncomfortable waiting around. The lunch menu is about 12 – 15 things. All variations on a theme. American Chinese. Pretty mediocre, but it is fast and cheap and a sit down venue. They serve Phở but I have never had it here. I’m a little allergic/sensitive to msg, and they say they don’t use any. I’m not so sure.

Great phở and bubble tea! I really enjoy the tofu and veggie phở along with a mango pearl tea. Great meal for the price. I’ve had great service while dining in and haven’t had to wait long for pick up orders. Staff is friendly and quick! I haven’t had anything else off of the menu but would recommend to friends and family!

My review is for lunch Phở. When at work, I typically have to trek far to get my phở fix. However, I noticed this place had a sign so I checked it out and was pleasantly pleased. The service was great, the place is clean and the price was right. The phở isn’t anything that will knock your socks off but it was definitely good and did the trick. The broth was flavorful, the veggies were fresh and plentiful and the tofu was good too! AND it was super quick. I didn’t order anything else, but the lunch menu looked good. It had a lot of typical lunch combo options for a decent price.

What is wrong with you people? Why am I seeing so many 1 or 2 star reviews for this place? Let me say that I am a complete Chinese food snob. I was raised on high-quality Dim Sum my entire life, and am often over-critical of places that just serve mediocre, greasy«asian» cuisine to the masses. This is not one of those places. Every single piece of food I’ve eaten there has at the very least been«good», if not«incredible». Their General Tso’s Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Sesame Chicken all provide proof as to why those dishes have become staples of the«takeout Chinese» menu: because when executed properly, they are mouth-wateringly delicious. While the service may not be lightning-fast, I’ve never found myself getting impatient waiting for the wait staff to help me, and their deliveries have never left me hungry. You may end up paying more than the average chinese place, but you are more than making up for it in quality of food, not to mention the portions are usually enough for 2, or even 3 meals.

Not horrible but not good and I wouldn’t go back. No spices or taste except for salt. T the pork was chewy/gristle. Overall not a good taste.

Went there for a birthday celebration. Service was a extremely slow and the restaurant was only a quarter full with customers. We all ordered the same preset meal which included soup — very salty for egg flower soup. Sweet and sour pork — super over done and rock hard. Other items were a bit greasy too like the previous reviewer wrote. was given to us in the last third of the meal. The final cherry on top is that they gave us someone else’s bill. I will not be going here ever again and next time have my blessed phone with me in order to review the options on Unilocal

The Jade Dragon is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in all of Bellevue and Redmond. I will often call in a take-out order on my way home from work. Their Sesame Beef and Chow Mein are to die for.

I stopped by today after work and got the Dragon roll(which is basically just a regular Vietnamese spring roll– vermicelli, pork, shrimp, lettuce). It was very fresh and yummy. However on the menu though, it said 2 rolls for $ 4.50… I received one long(it wasn’t that long) roll chopped in half so it was a little deceiving. $ 4.50 for one long spring roll? You gotta be kidding me. Kung pao chicken was a little bland… I got it with 3 stars and it was not spicy at all. Chicken however, was tender. The serving was huge though! Definitely a family-style type of plate. I don’t think I will come back though. Their spring rolls were good but not $ 4.50 for one roll good :(

Went tonight with friends… food was so-so. The first plate came out about ten minutes before the last(fourth) plate, which meant the first was lukewarm by the time all the food arrived. The orange chicken was a bit chewy. Sesame beef was ok. And the chow mein was severely lacking. One other irritation was the unwillingness to accept two Entertainment book coupons. According to the rules, 2 can be used in a party of four or more. Just wish a restaurant that uses such a coupon would follow the rules, or not do it!

Never in our entire twenty year marriage has my husband and I had a meal that we were both grossed out at our dishes. Usually one of us likes it, or is so/so at least. Nope. I had wonton soup — which was in a vegetable. broth? It’s much more accurate to say that it was in vegetable water, as everything is best described as simply tasting wet. The wontons had the consistency of wet toilet paper clumps, but paper at least has a woody flavor. These were just wet. I was amazed how something could have literally no flavor. My husband got phở. It was super sweet. In fact it tasted like some sort of weird Christmas poupourii. We normally don’t diss restaurants, but that was utterly disgusting. Service was friendly though.

You know when meat doesn’t quite have the texture of actual meat? Yeah. We ordered Chicken Chow Mein(WAY too much plum sauce), Almond Chicken(so greasy it would run off when you pressed on it, no joke– and the sauce was more green then gold), Chicken Fried Rice(meh) and Broccoli Beef(which did not have the taste or mouth-feel of beef). I took one bite of each thing and then walked away from the table to write this review. Was trying to avoid cooking tonight– but no one ate this crap, so I guess I have no choice. 0/10, do not reccomend

Just what I have been looking for in Redmond! A great American Chinese food that is not over priced! My boys and I went for dinner one night after work and really enjoyed ourselves! Awesome garlic fried wings and the classic sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein, almond chicken and gravy. Everything I love about this type of food was present and accounted for. The hot and sour soup was perfect and just loved it all! I noticed only two line cooks were responsible for all the food coming out and how quickly it came out. They had a large number of groups coming in just for take out and they didn’t even blink at how busy it was. Our server was prompt and efficient and made us feel extremely welcomed. Everything was clean, even the bathrooms which is the true test for me. We will be back. The smells that are out when we drive by will make us stop for sure!

Feel like having Chinese food and don’t care how authentic… I walked here from my office and ordered a Mongolian Beef. It was fast! I waited probably less than 5 mins for my food. The restaurant itself is a bit dark. I know I didn’t eat there, I took out! But, when it’s dark, you don’t know what’s hiding. Or, it could possibly be because there’s a bar in the restaurant and they want to set the mood for people who drink. However, not my type of dish! Speaking of my Mongolian Beef, I ordered 4 stars(total 5 stars). I could have gone all in! But, I still wanted to taste how the dish was like. Well, onions, green onions, beef, and those white dry noodles. I wish the onion was peeled properl so I didn’t have to feel the unchewable skin. As far as the dish goes, it’s a bit too sweet for me. Otherwise, it would be as good as the General Tso’s Chicken in Safeway. Styrofoam to go box, wow, I haven’t see those for a while!
