For a mom-n-pop type of place, I enjoyed my lunch very much. The noodles that came with my plate lunch were fantastic! The soup was made with chicken stock, not broth. So it was super rich, and the mouth feel was very smooth. The stock tasted homemade. So rich, I’ll add vinegar or lemon juice next time. :-) I also liked how Tung Zing handled the tofu! Yummy. So many items taste the way an Asian person would fix at home: the stock, the fried rice, the noodles. No one I know would spend the time to fix the tofu this way, though. Best thing I liked: the noodles!

Walk-in then walk-out, no one to say, «Hi» or serve you. Instead, a few customers were all starred us like if we had come from outer space.

Food was good but not great. Pricing is a bit steep I want to try other dishes but the price is too much. And ordering isn’t easy it’s confusing Asian tacos is a good idea but they didn’t execute well

I really like the food here. It’s made when you order, and their sauces are really delicious. I personally enjoy the Jalopeno lime and peanut chili sauces, and I usually order their tacos and Asian wraps. Tried this place out per a recommendation from a co-worker and was thoroughly surprised! Owner is really nice too, It recently opened so I hope her restaurant can gain some traction.

A brand new restaurant with a brand new idea… The owner is the nicest person and this is her dream… to make people happy with good and healthy cuisine. She needs community support as this is her first venture so please help support her by stopping by for a meal… she’s also interested in what you think would make it a better place to dine. The owner is a tiny woman… I told her to make the portions bigger… and now I can’t finish it. The food is cooked and prepared in a spotless kitchen and is delicious… No MSG and NO deep frying. I recommend this to anyone who’s looking for something different and NOT fast food.

Good food, Great service, but a little disappointed. I hope the owner takes this review into consideration. This is my first Unilocal review and I want it to be constructive. First thought of the place was this is like chipotle, which is a great concept. I picked my vegetables, meat and sauce. I also saw it came with egg rolls, and soup. For $ 8 I was expecting a full plate. That’s where my disappointment was. They serve you a small portion of the meat and vegetables you choose. Which serving fresh food instead of frozen I can understand. You would think they want to fill you up on rice though. Wrong, you get a small portion of rice that you can fit a small ball in the palm of your hand. Same thing with the Tung Zing noodles that come with it. I was looking forward to the soup and the egg rolls. The Soup was in a small cup that I thought was the hot sauce I asked for and the egg rolls were probably 2 ½″ long and the diameter of 2 pencils. They asked if I wanted a drink and I was surprised there were no fountain drinks. Just cans and 200z bottles. Not sure what I paid for my 12 oz. can but the total came out to $ 10 for my meal. As a small business owner I can understand you need to make a profit and start up cost are not cheap. But small changes would have allowed me to say this place was great and be my new go to spot. I live and work in Redlands and support all local business’s and I’m not cheap so it wasn’t so much the money for the food as it was the fact that a few changes could save the owner money and allow grown men to eat there and not want to go somewhere else immediately after to eat again. I am 26 years old, 6 foot 1 and 190 lbs. so I’m not a huge person. Just like to feel satisfied. Fountain drinks has an initial cost which I understand for a small start up business may not have fit the initial budget. But it saves you money in the long run. Also I could justify paying extra for the egg rolls and soup if they were bigger portions and still pay $ 8 for the plate if they gave you a good sized portion of rice and meat. Again this place has good food, and great service. But at 5:30 you wouldn’t think the place would be empty. The only way I will come back is if the owners advertise that they are now serving larger portions!!!

You really have to try the Bang Bang Shrimp or Cashew Chicken. It’s all fresh cook to order on a Wok stove.
