Doesn’t seem like the cleanest or most friendly place. Also doesn’t seem like the busiest. I wish they had a drive through. You can eat inside, but you should probably just get take out. Anyway, food is fairly good for this type of establishment, and they have an A rating– so should be okay. We liked the food and would go here again.

I can definitely say after trying almost every mexican restaurant in redlands, this takes it for the best, many people probably pass it thinking of it as another albertos rip off, but abelinos is a hundred times better than any of those places, I come a couple times a month and always get something different and it’s always better than I expected, I recommend for anyone looking for an authentic mexican food experience

I have eaten here on several occasions and have tried different things on the menu. The staff has always been friendly and the food taste fresh every time and orders come out relatively fast. As far as the food goes it has always been really good and I will definitely come again and would recommend to family and friends. That being said, I have always ordered to go as the dining area has been inconsistent when it comes to upkeep. Sometimes the tables are clean and other times they are not and the furniture could use an upgrade. If the dining area was updated and consistently clean it would be a 5 star spot.

Pretty decent asada fries… The meat they use is tasty and tender. no fat which is a HUGE plus… The fries had a nice crisp. They use real cheese only not the nacho cheese which is up to personal pref. they come with guacamole and sour cream but I opted out… The jamaica was good too, just sweet enough and with tons of ice it hit the spot. I ALWAYS rate a Mexican place on their ability to make asada… as it is very simple yet often messed up for some odd reason… but based on what I had I’ll be back to try other things but I’m sure I’ll like them all…

Good Mexican food. I always get fresh hot food when I get dinner from here. They do serve breakfast and lunch but have yet to try. Their breakfast burritos look bomb! I love their chile verde plate. Always delicious and the wait is never too long!

So you all know the saying«don’t judge a book by its cover». That was my thought on coming to Abelino’s. Well I should of ignored that saying because the food was as crappy as the place looked. So here’s how my first and last visit to Abelino’s went down. I walked in the lights were off, guessing because business was slow and to save money. I greeted the employees standing there in the dark. They said nothing then turned on the old fluorescent lights, after some flickering one light managed to come on so I could read there menu board. I ordered three combination plates nothing special no drinks $ 24. One of the plates as I told them was for my 5 year old, just wanted a small plain chicken quesadilla and beans and rice for the kid. Then the guy headed off to the back to make the food and I took a seat to wait. After about 5 minutes or so the guy came back out with my food. I then thanked him then headed out to the car thinking wow that was quick and easy and close to home maybe if the food is good I’ll be a regular. Got home opened the boxes looking for the kids quesadilla first to serve my hungry child. And that’s when my optimism for Abelino’s turned to frustration. The quesadilla was a giant sloppy, mushy, watery, red saucy mess. I tried my best to Doctor that quesadilla so my kid would at least try it hoping it didn’t taste as bad as it looked. The kid looked at it and tried to hide being grossed out by it and began to just eat the beans and rice and avoid the quesadilla. I said come on let’s at least try it. We both tried a piece and with in seconds were both running for the trash to spit it out. I then opened my box with my Carne Asada burrito hoping it would be ok and I could share it with my kid. The burrito at first looked ok and big. But the size was deceiving it was mostly tortilla and the rest of the ingredients were kinda nasty. The meat had a lot of tendons and grissel. I picked through it to try to find some clean pieces of meat for my kid and tried to force down the rest of the burrito but gave up to its grossness. The third plate was for my wife I got her a Enchiladas combo plate. She ate about half of it not saying anything feeling bad for me for my failed dinner mission at Abelino’s. So I don’t really know how bad her food was but she didn’t say anything good. So to end my nasty food rant I will just say F you Abelino’s and I will not be back, and to my fellow Unilocalers do yourself a favor and avoid this one your not missing anything!

The steak nachos are very good! Pour some of their hot sauce on it to make them even better.

Carne asada fries were pretty good. Gf got some tacos and gave positive remarks too. Bathroom in back outside. The parking lot looks kinda shady, but thats really the only big negative I can say.

This was our first time at Albelinos.(which is the new name btw.) We’re always on the hunt for good authentic Mexican food and I have to say that we found our new spot in Redlands. We are super excited and impressed. I got a chorizo and egg breakfast burrito and the hubs got a torta. The picture is the torta aftermath, he obviously loved it. Don’t pass this place by, it’s a hole in the wall but it’s a gem. It’s clean and the staff was cool. Thank you Albelinos for feeding my belly with deliciousness. We will be back FASHO to try more of the menu.

So I just went here for the first time. Would have missed the place if it wasn’t for a friend who knew of its reputation. The food was amazing! Can’t believe how good the carne Assad burrito was!!! Comes with onions, a ton of well marinated beef, and fresh guacamole. Still happily in a food coma.

Stopped here on my way back from Phoenix! Not a single Mexican meal I had in Phoenix was as good as the one I had here! Carnitas really excellent they were juicy and well cooked very tasty. I got plenty of guacamole and pico de gallo on the side! The restaurant is very small and with very limited seating! It was neat and clean. I will be stopping here for lunch the next time I am passing through this area. Loved it!

I use to come here all the time years ago when It was Albaros and the food was awesome and great pricing. Ever since it changed to Abelinos they are getting greedy with the amount of food they give you and the price. I gave it one star because the food still taste good but I hate when good resturaunts get greedy and cut corners.

Name changed. It is now«Albelinos». Favorite place in all of inland empire! Very fast with the food. Very friendly every time I come. I get Carne Asada fries and they are to die for! I’ve had their carne asada tacos as well and they are better than other mexican places around here I’ve been to! This place deserves more business ! It’s that great! I make sure I tell my family and friends to go here when looking for somewhere to go.

This place has a new name now but the food is awesome. The best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. Fresh food and homemade tortillas. I usually only like going through drive thrus in the mornings but this is one place I will get off and order and wait because its worth it. The new name is Abelinos

Disappointing! I went through the drive-thru and ordered the 5 chicken rolled tacos aka taquitos. There was hardly any chicken, just a lot of rolled up tough corn tortilla. To add insult to injury there wasn’t enough guac for all my taquitos. I should of went to Cuca’s or Taco Village. I loathe wasting my money on poor quality foods.

Tiny place with enough chairs for maybe 20 people. They take cards but there’s a $.50 charge. Food was pretty good. I tried their sopas. Nice crispy bottoms with beans, carne asada, lettuce and cheese. Really filling so three on a plate was more than enough. Also had a carnitas quesadilla. I loved that it was crispy with not too much cheese. It had a lot of carnitas inside, too. A must try! I docked one star for no carrots and jalapeños. Super cheap authentic Mexican food, came out to $ 16 for three sopas, an horchata and a carnitas quesadilla. Will be coming back!

Albaro’s, you really let me down on my last visit. The floor was dirty with plastic utensils and napkins, and flies circled around the dining room. A trash can was overflowing on the bottom onto the restaurant floor. A side of Guacamole was rung up as 75 cents instead of 70 cents until I told the cashier of her error and pointed to the price on the menu board. My #1 Combo of a Beef Taco and a Tostada, with Iceberg Lettuce, tomatoes, rice, and refried beans, was good – but not as tasty as in the past. While the Mexican rice was good and moist, the refried beans very mellow and tasty, and the taco shell good, the ground beef inside was somewhat dry. And, although the Gaucamole was creamy, it reflected no real zest or special character. Plus, Diane’s bacon was overcooked, and her ordered Scrambled Eggs fashioned like an omelette. I’ve definitely had better prepared food here before, in a cleanlier environment.
