Horrible food. Do not eat at this restaurant. You can make better food at home. Shrimp cocktail was a small cup with frozen shrimp and store bought cocktail sauce and that’s it. Absolutely horrible and unclean Canned beans, bagged cheese and the waiter took forever to take our order. The food came quickly, probably because the food was made a few days prior. Horrible and my family and I were extremely disappointed

The house salsa was a stand out. Savory. My order: Chile verde burrito Mine was Chile verde and rice, wrapped in a tortilla. The chile verde was had a good mix of spices. The rice was cooked right. It was simple but delicious. My server was Sierra. She was oozing with hospitality. I asked for more salsa and she offered a variety of selection like a flyte of salsa. She even offered to pack up the four different salsas to go. Sierra is better than Tiffanie. The only thing that bothered me was the $ 15 to $ 20 plates. How much does it cost to make Mexican food? What is in this food? Cocaine?

The food was mediocre at best, took a half hour to get a few appetizers, and they made a mistake on the bill to top it off, and it was overpriced to begin with. The manager and wait staff were chatting with each other most of the time. Never again.

Nope. Not again. I judge a Mexican restaurant on small things, like beans, rice, salsa, tortillas. If you care about the details and you’re going to price it like that, then usually everything else will be spot on. They served canned beans. Flavorless rice. The potatoes were so-so. Not a good omen, in my book. We had vegetarian and fish selections. The fish tacos were ok, but not stellar. Cabbage is supposed to be a garnish, not a primary ingredient. My wife and I left most of the food on our plate. This was a Saturday night. They weren’t super busy, but the wait staff took forever. We cleaned our own table, the second one chosen as the first was really bad. Certainly not the best of Redlands. Kind of a landmark place, too. Too bad.

I have never been disappointed here. Everytime I come in I feel at home. The menu offers so many options. You CAN have healthy mexican food in Redlands! If I could give six stars I would. What can I say? I love this place!

Great homemade Mexican food at this place. I had the menudo, homemade corn tortillas, and a house margarita… yum-o! The bowl of soup was a healty portion so I had to take the rest home. The place is very small and I honestly never noticed it before, but I’m glad I went in as I passed by. I was strongly allures by the«Margarita Monday» sign… lol! The décor is rather dull and old, but it felt like I was eating at someone little home. Staff were attentive and service was quick. I’d really recommend this place to those looking for simple home style Mexican food.

First time for us and the food was pretty good. We had suprema enchiladas that we good. We had chorizo breakfast that was okay. And we had Chile verde rachero style burrito that was the best of the three dishes. The service was good. If we could rate 3.5 we would use it here for this rating. The price is fair not great. The two dining areas are rather small and somewhat cramped.

We were wanting a ‘hole in the wall type place when visiting downtown Redlands. Place is small aka hole in wall. I had a mango margarita. Best I’ve had in so long. My husband had Cadillac. Very good. Ordered average combos. I loved my papa’s potatoes! Never even heard of them before. My husband tortilla soup. All good very good. It was 3:00 pm so in between meal hour. Folks were flowing in and out. We will be heading back!

Great place for good, healthy food. Lunch? Try the deluxe salad with chicken — you won’t be disappointed. Dinner? Go for fresh grilled fish over sauteed veggies — just incredibly delicious. Nuff said!

I’ve been here twice and after the second visit I can say 100% that I will never visit here again. We got sat fairly promptly but it took the waitress forever to return because, like other reviewers have mentioned, the waitress was talking with someone that seemed to be a friend or regular. However the worst part is when my food arrived, the potato was soggy to the point where it was almost watery. I mentioned it to the waitress immediately but she just kind of smiled and didn’t say anything. An apology would have been nice and taking the food back and brining another order would have been great but neither was done.

My family, and I had breakfast at this restaurant. My wife really liked the Chrizo Omelette. I personally liked the Huevos Rancheros in Salsa Verde! We just found our joint to go «Every Sunday to have breakfast» I recommend this place!

Craig, I think you would love this place. Perfect for a hang over breakfast. The huevos rancheros with chile verde has the best flavors. ½ is more than enough. Tortillas were super hot as well as the food. I have a new favorite breakfast place. Waitress was sweet and attentive. Atmosphere is good. Maybe a bit. Noisy but classic Mexican restaurant design. Price is good too. Enjoy!

Hadn’t been here in a couple of years, but wanted to try it again. The young girl who settled us in with menus and drinks was smiling and helpful. She answered our questions about the menu. When we began to give her our order she told us that she was not our waitress, and that our waitress would be with us shortly. Our waitress was not as helpful. Once our order was taken and food was delivered she never came back again. We didn’t get any drink refills maybe because it was only water? Our waitress spent her time on one customer, who seemed to be a regular, who stood by the server prep area drinking a beer an visiting. I had to flag another waitress down to please get our waitress for us. Our waitress never came back… the girl who seated is brought us our check. So, the positives: the salsa that came with the chips was good as was the chile verde. I wish the young, smiling, helpful girl had been our waitress. We will not be going back again.

The salsa has no spice or flavor. The menu listed : «Chicken fajitas served with guacamole» The chicken fajitas did NOT have onion or bell peppers.. they had SPINACH. .BROCCOLI.. AND yellow and green SQUASH. Annnd. The server brought out slices of unripe avocados bc they didn’t have guacamole. .yeah you know why they didn’t have guacamole? Because the avocados weren’t ripe to make it!!!(ask for extra tortillas.. They only give 2) The menudo was oook… ehh
