Had an alright experience here (on a weekend, just over 10 days before Christmas Eve). Lots of bright red and green outfits if that’s what you’re looking for (I wasn’t, hahaha). However, there were plenty of other more subdued, elegant outfits as well. We came here because my mom had to make an exchange. The lines were fairly short. However, judging by how slowly our line moved, there might as well been a ton of people ahead of us. At this pace, I can’t imagine what the check-​out experience will be like closer to Christmas.

Horrible service… me being a makeup artist for over 10 years I decided to check out the Sephora inside… I was really disappointed at the knowledge of the employees in there. They act as though they have no experience and they don’t know their products. I thought maybe I just went in on a bad day… but every time I go there I have the same experience. They treat you like you are going to steal something. I had an experience there where a girl and guy were at the counter whispering and looking at me. When I turned back to look at them they stopped and gave me an uncomfortable smile… I will not be going back I will be shopping else where for my makeup!!!

More than once the employees have snubbed me or made reference to my weight. I know I’m heavy but that’s not something you need to comment on. Tonight they first acted if my family and I were going to steal something then all but outright called my mother fat. The only somewhat helpful people are in Sephora.

I have worked here as seasonal staff 3 times and the difference now with management and even the overall look of the store is like night and day. Finallyyyy put in a Sephora which brought a ton of business I’m. So happy they stepped up their game

The remodel looks great! I walk into this JCPenny and feel like I’m not in Redding. They recently added a Sephora too!
JCPenny has great sales going on almost every time I walk into the store. They have men’s, women’s, junior’s, and children’s clothing. They also have a huge house wares section towards the back of the store (Macy’s side) They also have a Levi’s section that’s pretty neat. I’ve only experienced great customer service here. The store is clean as well.

This was one of the most organized stores I have ever been to. The clearance racks were impeccably sorted by color, which made shopping easy and convenient. The fitting room attendant and cashier were friendly and helpful. They had a huge selection of clothing in different styles and brands. Great shopping experience!

I went in for my daughter’s school shopping and checked out with an older lady whom Ive seen working before. She was rude, bored, and not very helpful. She just wanted to rush me out of the line and there was only one other person behind me. My daughter was impatient and was obvisouly showing she was tired. If you hate your job, quit! Because this lady had a horrible shopping experience!
