Starbucks

I wrote a bad review a few weeks ago, saying this place was a pigsty. The management seems to have reacted. I was there today, very clean, very friendly. Deleted the old review.

Just wanted to thank Matt for bringing a little laughter and cheer to our day! He loved my Darth Vader jacket and we loved his amazing customer service. Keep up the good work Matt and may the force be with you.

Used the mobile order & pay feature through the app. I stood waiting for a few minutes where you pick up drinks and no one acknowledged me. Drinks kept being made and still no acknowledgment. Finally I asked, «is this where I pick up my mobile order?» The Barista told me yes, but I need to tell her next time because they assume I just ordered through the line and I’m waiting for my drink. I mentioned that’s not what they do at the other Starbucks I go to on Dimension in Lake Forest and she flat out told me «well, they do it wrong». I should have said, «well, at least they look up at me or acknowledge me there». Won’t be returning to this Starbucks, I’ll stick to my friendlier Starbucks on Dimension where they don’t give me attitude.

Clean Starbucks! Nice people. My drinks are usually perfect. (Depending on who’s working.) Overall, my favorite local Starbucks!

This is the closest Starbucks to us and everyone is always super friendly. It’s also pretty fast considering how busy it always is.

I like this Starbucks. I call it the «Closet Starbucks» because it’s no bigger than an average Coto De Caza garments closet… There are larger locations with more seating space at Albertsons and Target, but this place still gets a crowd. Why this location is so popular I’ll never know; parking in the complex is insane, the WiFi is crappy, and the Carl’s and KD’s crowd tend to stand and stare. Perhaps it’s an unofficial social gathering spot for the dog and baby walkers that accumulate after a brisk trot around the lake?
Perhaps it’s the coffee?
When it’s busy at this location, usually in the mid-​morning, the mood is churlish… The long rotating lines of moody, entitled customers packed in such a confined space in turn causes longer wait times and moody baristas… A vicious cycle, magnified in some ways by a major caffeine jonzing. At least for me, which is why I come in during the late morning and afternoon hours.
Again, I like this Starbucks, but be sure and squeeze in when it’s not that busy because they do brew a great cup of coffee.

Slowest services, over crowded, just not fun ! I do not recommend standing in line for 20 Mins then waiting for another 15.

I like the way they keep changing up the brew methods and new drink combinations. Java chip frapp. …one of my favorites!

Barista very unfriendly. Bought the cup for free coffee for one month and she acts like your stealing. Won’t give name but older lady works in the am

I am very bad dealing with change and some of the best staff have come through this location.
Small location. Limited Seating. Parking Difficult. Staff Amazing.
Centrally located to both full-​service and fast food dining (which does make parking limited) along with direct access to lake front walking and great view of Saddleback Mountains.
Outdoor seating is available. However, sometimes used by diners from Little Ceasers. Pets sometimes present in outdoor seating area. Nearest shopping center for rural residents of Trabuco Canyon so you will sometimes see riders on horses in the parking lot — be polite and give the animal space.
Overall this Starbucks gives you the outstanding service of a small town coffee shop with the professional touch you come to expect from this company. The location is ideal for any time of day or group.

This Starbucks is amazing. There are at least 5 Starbucks within 2 – 3 miles but this one is by far the best. PEOPLE make all the difference and this team is top notch. They all smile, look happy to be at work, know my name and drink. I am there EVERYDAY because of them. :)

Great location! Very clean. Perfect for people watching, strolling around the lake and yummy donuts next door! The best service I’ve had at any of the Starbucks in the area. Come here often for my java fix & I’ve never had a bad experience! :) I come so often they get really get to know you so it’s a treat to come in to know the employees!

Okay, let’s be fair here. I get great service at most Starbucks. Yes, occasionally things go wrong at one location or another, but overall Starbucks and the owners (if they are franchised???) do a good job training their staff. One such Starbucks that I’ve been going to for a number of years is this one. There are what, 6 Starbucks in the little town of RSM, but this is the one that I will always choose before others. Why? The customer service is incredible here. Service is always with a smile and the GSRs and baristas are truly interested in you as a person. While orders might be wrong once or twice a year, they have always corrected no questions asked and made you feel VALUED as a customer.
Yes, parking can be a bit of a problem at rush hour, but I’ll park a row away and walk in gladly for the cuppa here. Nice job SB.

Clean, small Starbucks. Sometimes it seems like this is the only Starbucks for miles because it gets so packed. Parking could suck on weekends especially in the morning.

I absolutely love this Starbucks. I have been to many and called many many Starbucks my home Starbucks over the years, but this one has been the best I have ever experienced. I’ve been going to this location for almost three years and the staff is ALWAYS extremely nice and outgoing! I go out of my way to go to this location!

Friendly staff, at least when I was there. A small Starbucks, appeared to be neat and tidy. They are on the Lake, but not on the lake. If they changed locations to looking out on the lake, you might get a higher rating.
My drink was good, but I did have to remind them re my whipped cream.

Nice and big. Clean. But that’s about it. I waited what seemed like minutes before being greeted. And I was the only person there. The worker had no sense of urgency and was low energy. She seemed unhappy to be there. I won’t go back to this Starbucks.
