Plano Self Storage

This place was a joke. I went to go take a look at there 10×20 units yesterday. As soon as I stepped inside «their» 10X20 unit, I thought to myself «this can’t be a 10X20. So, I walked the width and it was 8′ inside (i didn’t bother measuring the depth). I then looked at Ricci (the lady who showing me the unit) and said «this isn’t 10′!?» She then explained to me that it was because of some wacky way they determine their measurements on the «outside» of the unit. I looked at her and said «I just measured it!» it’s only 8′! She just looked annoyed and said «this is our 10X20 unit and it’s 10X20’» I just looked at her and said «thank you for your time» and left. She obviously knows their measurements are a lie but, maybe she needs to tell people that to keep her job or something. Anyway, once a company blatantly lies like that to me about anything, I’m gone. Pretty pathetic. My suggestion, bring your measuring tape and explain to Ricci how to use one so that can stop misleading people in their online advertising and wasting people’s time.

I shopped around and they had the best rates for this area. So far they seem to be very accommodating. The facility appears safe and looks pretty much new. I would recommend them.

My experience here was great. I had my things stored there in the process of me moving to San Francisco. I would recommend them. I wish the location was closer to the freeway, but overall the customer service and quality of the storage was top notch.

This company is very unprofessional in my experience in dealing with them. They seem to run a very shady business and I would not recommend storing your items at this facility.
