Breakfast was great! I had two eggs, hash browns, and bacon. Very tasty, and reasonably priced.

Great food, prices, & customer service! Every time my family & I have eaten breakfast here we have always been served generous portions that were equally tasty. Also, the waitresses are always friendly & attentive. Don’t let the location of the restaurant fool you, try the food & you will be pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in Rancho Cordova.

Foor was great. Waitress was very polite. I like that they always make sure my coffee cup stays full. Food is always hot and on point. Very decent place to have breakfast. I will keep coming back. Break fast burrito with country fry potatoes is the best.

Awesome breakfast place! I loved the chicken and waffle! Their kids chocolate chip pancake is super chocolatey! If you’re a 49ers fan you’ll love them dressed in team shirts with 9er stuff everywhere! Great servers. Good food.

I forgot to review this place because we left in such a hurry. Its your usual breakfast joint. Décor is dated and eclectic, also, EW, 49er stuff everywhere! Lost a star for that(just kidding). Anyway, the host got us water, and then our server came up and asked us if we were ready. I hate when the server doesn’t state their name or even say, the usual, «How’s everyone doing?» It was just like, «everyone ready?» Food– ok. I had the french toast which was heavily battered in egg. It literally had a scrambled egg attached to it. Our biscuits and gravy came after we finished our breakfast. I do not have a clue why it took so long, the lady just kept saying«it’s almost ready». By the time they came I didn’t even want them. I just wanted to leave. Biscuit was so dry. Gravy was good though. Anyway, we came here because my mother in law bought us

I’ll give ‘em two stars because the waitress was really nice, but the whole restaurant was foul. The bathrooms were disgusting. The décor is cheesy. After their move, they could’ve made the place really cute and cozy. Anyway, they way over-cooked my eggs Benedict so I sent it back. The second time they came out, which was after everybody at my table was finished eating), they were waaaay undercooked. I had a feeling that was going to happen. Also, my roomies French fries were cold! Way over priced! Oh well, I went without eating. Will not be coming back!

I come here every day and I never leave without a full stomach. The food is absolutely to die for! I love this place… Also I come during the week and for around $ 5 I get the ham and egg special that comes with eggs, a generous slice of ham, hash browns, and bisquit and gravy. I will never go to IHOP or dennys again! Today I substitued my hash browns for the delicious waffle with sausage, eggs, bisquit and gravy and sausage links that are about the diameter of a polish dog. This place is awesome!

Best omlett. What a great restaurant ! Large portions leave you feeling soooo content. Great food. Great service My only regret is that I didn’t order the steak and eggs I noticed at another table as I was leaving. The steak looked to be ¾ inch, juicy and very large. Ill be back for it!

Hubby and I have driven by several times since they moved to Folsom Blvd, and when we had friends up for the weekend who asked to go, after they Unilocal’d it, we agreed to try them out. Nobody left hungry or disappointed. We sat at one of the large round tables near the kitchen; the dining room is large, and pretty open; it was a busy Sunday morning, and the staff seemed to know everyone who came in; everyone was Very friendly. Portions are generous; staff is attentive. This will be a regular Sunday breakfast spot.

Stopped in for a late breakfast yesterday. Since it was 10:30 on a Sunday morning we expected to have a wait. Only ten minutes, not bad. The nice hostess seated us in a booth and took our drink order. Coffee showed up a minute later. As is usually the case, I go for the country fried steak w/three eggs, hashed browns and a biscuit and gravy. The Mrs ordered the house skillet but subbed country potatoes over the fried house fries. Took about fifteen minutes to get our orders but that’s not too bad for a packed restaurant on a Sunday morning. The food arrived just as ordered and was served hot with a coffee refill. During our meal we noticed that because of the open the floor plan, there was quite a loud noise level. Every table and booth had folks seated and all their conversations added up to the overall noise. If you’re looking for quiet during your breakfast then this isn’t the place for you. This place does open at five AM and when we’ve been here at an earlier hour it’s much quieter. Our server was spot-on with checkins and coffee refills. Even with the relocation, Waffle Shop continues to serve good food at reasonable prices. We’ll be back.

Great service cold food. Only giving it a star for the service. All, and I mean all of our food was cold. Em got two eggs over easy, cold, hash browns, cold, bacon, cold. I ordered chicken and waffles, cold. Won’t be back.

Was in RC for a softball tournament and found Waffle House on Unilocal.Glad we did. Everyone loved there breakfast. Potatoes where crispy. Pork chops where good. I really enjoyed my waffle topped with strawberries, almonds and whipped cream. I am always a fan of restraunts that offer flavored creamer with the coffee. And the Waffle House had 2 different flavors to choose from. Staff was very friendly!

The waffles are pretty good but the other menu items are pretty standard. Service is good and prices are fair.

Just got back from a very satisfactory breakfast at their new location. We have been a fairly regular customer since they came to Rancho Cordova. I have to admit that we were leary of the new location as other restaurants had tried and failed in this spot. Our first time there was a disappointment but was just two days after their move. We decided this morning to try them again and very happy that they had restored the great service and food quality from the old location. Do yourself a favor and add Waffle Shop to your Rancho Cordova dining experience!

Lets see. This restaurant just moved to its new location so they are still hashing out the seating details and things. Walking in the restaurant. even though there were barely any customers, I was still seated in the very back of the establishment. Usually, I wouldn’t have had an issue with this but, they sat me next to the managers door so the waitress would have to lean over my back to peep her head in the door. Booty in my face and all! They couldnt even close the door without me having to move Food wasnt all that great. but this is a place where regulars go, likely cause they know the staff. I wouldnt recommend anyone to this restaurant

Time for the 2015 update: As you can see Stormy and frequent the place regularly. They lost their lease at the old place on Zinfandel and decided to throw the dice and move to this new location. The gamble seems to be paying off. Pros: Friendly staff who seem to be into forming relationships with their regulars. Really good crispy waffles(good thing given the name of the place). They are ok with asking for things(e.g. Stormy likes one type of toast and I like another. Since we split plates we found it really pleasant to get one slice of each of the kinds we like. The new building is classier than the last one. Cons: The coffee sucks. They need to find a new coffee vendor as I’d rather drink day old microwave coffee. The decaf is worse. Stormy is a diehard decaf fan and won’t drink the decaf here. You just need to try the place. Its the best RC has to offer for breakfast.
