I love their waffles! Staff are nice and attentive to your needs. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Although my husband and I did have an unpleasant experience this past trip, out of respect for Ravi and the constantly great quality of food, I won’t downgrade my rating or go into details. I suppose nothing is perfect all the time, however, if I knew Ravi’s schedule, I would probably only go there when he’s around. Other than that, our food was great! My husband has also been there twice without me and without a check-in or updated review and his experiences were both positive.

No service slow service last few visit. Owners and staff sit in a booth and don’t make rounds. Food quality poor. Flat pancakes. Cheeze singles barely melted on omlette much less poor quality cheeze.

Not a big fan of Indian food but the guy said I’d love it. I told him to make me whatever. He gave me the chicken corma and its exceptionally good

This is where I go for a value and delicious meal. While the service is on the slower size this is a family operated business that serves a generous portion that is good tasting. With a Unilocal check-in, 10% is deducted from the check. I had their breakfast steak and 3-egg special with toast and fruit substituted for potatoes with the 10% off for under $ 10. If you like Indian cuisine there is a page on the menu full of tasty Indian entrees which are prepared to whatever spice level you like. Delicious

I ordered roast beef with mashed and gravy. What a disappointment! The beef tasted like it was straight out of a plastic package and yuck! I figured it was as much my fault for assuming I was going to get a «pot roast» type of roasted beef so I didn’t complain and I think that would have been the end of it. But as the server took my barely touched plate, she asked if every thing was ok. I appreciated the moment to say the beef wasn’t very good and she says«next time try the turkey, it’s better.» I smiled and thanked her. If she had thought about it, a better choice would be to consider getting me a plate of that turkey since she could see I only ate the mashed potatoes! Now bad food and poor service, 1 star.

2nd time here and the food has been great both times. We’ve had their indian food and it’s very good. I like that you can get Indian or American food here. Also had the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was delicious. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. My only semi disappointment was my hash browns. Crispy on top but a little undercooked on the bottom. The place was packed but we still received great service from our server, Jessica. She was very attentive. They have a person going around to fill coffee and water which is something I really like to see at a restaurant. All in all a pleasant experience and will be back again next time I’m in the area.

I enjoyed this place quite a bit. It’s a bit on the small side, but still charming and has a nice, cozy feel. It reminds me of Pancake Circus on Broadway, but certainly nicer, cleaner, and not as crowded. I had a chorizo skillet that could have been a bit spicier but it was a lot of food for $ 10. They continually refilled my coffee that I felt I never had to ask. I’m definitely coming back. The Good: Cozy, good service, affordable price. The Bad: Food was not as flavorful as I personally like.

Ive been this this place twice. our last visit was just a few days and we ordered Indian food to go, butter chicken and tikka chicken biryani. The food was really really disappointing. the butter chicken’s color was totally off(i dont think they used tomatoes in the dish) and it tasted like it had a hint of pumpkin in it. the biryani was very mushy as if they took steamed white rice mixed it with curry gravy and called it biryani. during our first visit we tried non Indian items and it was good, in fact one of the best biscuits and gravy i’ve ever had. i’ll stick to those going forward.

Great food and service from Ravi. He took great care of us. Very clean. You will have left overs. My dad had Indian food dish that he lives and I had chicken fried steak with eggs. Didn’t need a knife for the steak. Great place to stop and check out. Reasonably priced. Will go back.

My father and I decided to stop in for dinner. He had the chorizo scramble and I had the chicken fried chicken with eggs combo. Our waiter Ravi was super friendly and very engaging, as well as the rest of the staff. The chicken was breaded perfectly and very juicy and the country gravy was great. I prefer my eggs over medium and most places screw it up, but they were spot on. My dad couldn’t get over how perfect the potatoes were cooked. The egg and chorizo mix was great as well. We will definitely be back to try out some of the Indian food as suggested by Ravi!

If you get the chance, try this place out! One of the school campuses I attend, FLC(Rancho Cordova Center), is right across from Rosie’s. After class, I decided to walk over to Rosie’s and get some breakfast for dinner. The prices are great for the amount of food you get! I had the pleasure of meeting Ravi. Ravi quickly turned into my hero, as he would come around very often and refill my coffee cup, without having to ask! After I was all finished, and the plates were clean, I went to go pay. I was telling him about how this was my first time eating here, and I found out about it from the school, and he immediately knocked the price down by 10%. Ravi took the time to talk to me, gave me some coupons & fixed me a real chai tea latte to go. I’ve never met someone as friendly, genuine & appreciative of the customer’s business, as Ravi. As I continue going to school here in Rancho Cordova, I will continue to be a loyal customer of Rosie’s! Highly recommend! Carson Cusano El Dorado Hills, CA

Rosie’s is always awesome but they’ve cleaned up around the outside of the building and the landscaping looks very nice. They also updated the interior with fresh paint and reupholstered seating but they still have the traditional diner vibe– SO happy about that. It looks great and there are a lot of newly added menu items, too! Ravi is the best. makes it feel like home whenever we’re there :)

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I came and I wanted to enjoy a very calm and delicious breakfast country style. This is exactly what I got, and what I expected. The manager’s name was Ravi and he witnessed mean checking in on my Unilocal. He was very attentive and very customer service driven. Let me start with the beauties of this restaurant before I continue. The restaurant is exactly as it states a country kitchen from the olden days or you can go have a hot cup of joe hang out with some old regulars and enjoy a piping hot breakfast delicious coffee and wonderful surroundings and customer service. An attentive server along with great food I ordered the French toast substitute eggs for potatoes a side of bacon with my order. I was consistently served hot coffee and refilled as soon as it was halfway or more. This restaurant looks like it’s owned by a family may be Indian or Persian not sure but it didn’t matter they maintained the aura and essence of the country kitchen 100%. Everyone in there seems to have gotten large portions or mega plate sizes so I was excited to see my food come in a large portion. That being said nothing could be more perfect than having a great breakfast with great service with a great portion of food for great prices. I recommend this as a stop if you are in 50 miles of this restaurant. I was impressed I have some pictures that I have taken to follow to boost the deliciousness and aura of a family oriented customer service driven great food kitchen I say enjoy. I thoroughly did and I will be returning with my bff. This place is great for families, great for kids, has ADA access. I met some cool people here while having breakfast and as I said at the beginning the manager noticed that I was on Unilocal and recommended I open myself to receive the 10% off discount which I used to tip. The 10% discount you receive here can be used everyday.

This was always my favorite breakfast place!!! In the recent years they have redecorated and it looks like they have added to the menu. I always get the corned beef hash and eggs. I also like the French toast. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like Rosies.

From the outside the establishment looks like a basic diner. Walk inside, you see a friendly Indian family running the place. They have diner classics and Indian food. We came to try the Indian food(as noted by other reviews) and I was pleased. The spices were on par. We got a sampler combo(pakoras, samosas, and chili chicken). I loved all of it. The pakoras were crispy and flavorful. We ordered butter chicken extra spicy, and it delivered. Again tasty and flavorful like Indian food should be. Wifey ordered chai. Again, it was great. Also we ordered a kids meal which happened to be a $ 1! Yeah that’s right, a buck(limited hours, but still!!!) my son loved the chicken tenders and french fries. Told my my wife Rosie’s is on the rotation. I am glad I tried this place. By they way the service was great. Everyone was pleasant and kind. Great food, great prices and awesome service. This is definitely a hidden gem.

Rosie’s is the BEST restaurant in Rancho Cordova. The best service ever! Never an empty cup or glass. The food is just like home. Prices are so reasonable. Lots to choose from and great India dishes as well. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants great food and service. Need not to go anywhere else!

Love this place!!! My fiancé and I came here on recommendation from good friends. We were told to get their Indian food. Ravi was awesome and took the time to talk to us and tell us more about the food and interesting information about what we were eating! Butter chicken, veggie samosas, tikka masala and delicious chai tea(which we got an additional order to go). He brought us out samples of food to try that went with what we ordered and everything was great. Great place– we will be back!!! :)

What a great find! I came hear on a whim. I must have passed this place a hundred times. There are always cars parked around this establishment, which is a good sign. Don’t let the mostly Indian staff and obviously Indian owned fool you. The food is righteous! The female Indian Chef who gowns a chef’s uniform definitely knows her skills and delivers comfort food better than most places I’ve dined for breakfast. They have a large variety of breakfast items to choose from. They also serve lunch and dinner. I had a craving for and ordered corned beef hash, which came with three eggs(over-easy), country potatoes, and wheat toast. The corned beef hash was outstanding. It had a crispy crust on the outside and soft center, which gave it a unique contrast. It was flavorful with a perfect corned beef to potato ratio. The country potatoes were cooked perfectly and also flavorful. My eggs were cooked just the way I like them. No runny mucousy mess here. Recently, they added Indian food to their menu. I’ll definitely be back for that, especially when I saw chicken vindaloo. Maybe I’ll put this place to the test by ordering biscuits and gravy next time. It looked really good after seeing other diners served one of my favorites. Oh, the only downside, which I will not penalize them for is my server. She(young Indian gal who served the counter patrons) could’ve been more(how should I put this?) pleasant. She didn’t even look or act like she wanted to be there. Oh well, the food was the star!

The only thing that threw me off was the Indian food sign in the front because I was in the mood for country style breakfast. Pancakes potatoes etc., I thought I was going to walk into an aroma of spices. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you for catering to the needs of the community and offering a delicious breakfast.

Rosie’s had a recent makeover but seems to be largely the same staff and menu. Good hearty breakfast food, with large servings at a reasonable price. Service is great. I tend to get breakfast food, but they have other food. They also serve Indian food(which I’m too much of a wimp to try). Breakfast served all day.

I’ve lived around the corner for 3 years and have never dined here. From the street it looks like a dive diner. And it kind of is. But I noticed lots of cars in the parking lot so that was a good sign. Seems like for 3 years, I was missing out this entire time. It reminded me of my grandparents old restaurant. My family and I went here for breakfast. The service was friendly and the food was good. My mom’s biscuits and gravy weren’t to her liking but she’s pretty picky. I tasted it and it was fine to me. Maybe add some pepper to your liking. All in all I will go back and I will recommend to others. Something that caught my eye on the menu was the section titled«Indian Delights». The owners are East Indian do I’m sure I’ll come back for some Indian food one night when the mood strikes.

Great American & Indian food. I’ve had the Corned Beef Hash, eggs, & hash browns breakfast combo, french toast, eggs, & bacon(or sausage) breakfast combo, and au jus dip sandwiches w/french fries dinner combo. I’ve also had and absolutely love their Indian food, including Shrimp Curry and Chicken Tika. I go here almost every single day and have been going for almost a year now, ever since I moved to Rancho Cordova. If you like Denny’s, you’re going to like this place. They’re better than Denny’s, with a wider selection, plus Indian food to boot. The waiter service is excellent, too. I always order diet coke, and they have it pouring the second I enter the door, and they have refills ready by the time I am done with each glass. I never have to wait or ask them for a refill. Ravi is a great server.
