I keep getting robo calls on my work cell telling me that my prescription is ready. I do not shop at Walgreen, especially not the one at 82nd and Holgate, 15 miles from my home. Moreover, my phone is on the«Do Not Call» registry. I called the store and the woman then wanted personal information from me, such as my birthdate. What’s her birthday? Why should I give that out? Simply remove my number from your robo call system. When I told her I would take this up with the FTC she said, «Fine» and hung up. As I said, I do not shop at that Walgreen, and won’t shop at any of them now.

Health and Wellness??? Customers do need to use the bathroom sometimes, right??? Go to the time and expense to make your bathroom look acceptable. It’s filthy, needs paint, needs soap, needs a paper towel dispenser that works. If Walgreens is serious about our health and wellness it doesn’t show at all.

Walgreens on 82nd and Burnside: TERRIBLE. Unprofessional people in the pharmacy. Go elsewhere if you can.

Stopped in looking for some Star Wars action figure(for my husband) that is supposed to be exclusive to Walgreens. Which hello random, who in marketing decided that. So I am in there not in there even 10 minutes and I come back out to find that my car had been screwed with(it will buff out thankfully but still). Is that Walgreens fault? No, but beware of parking your car here for a moment. I grew up in a pretty«ghetto» area and never once worried about my car being screwed with by some random stranger guess in this area I do. The store itself wasn’t impressive in fact I don’t think that I had ever been into a Walgreens before. They had lots of candy and other mostly useless«as seen on tv» stuff, so if you see it on TV and don’t feel like paying shipping and handling stop by Walgreens chances are they’ll have it!

They employees in this Pharmacy are lazy including the manager!!! When calling in a renewal to your doctor if they don’t reach the doctor they font call you and let you know that your prescription won’t be refilled you just find out when you go pick up and by then your pissed cause you’ve waited a couple days. Also i have refilled one thing but I get something that I didn’t order. They’re just some rude ass idiots that will piss you off!!! They don’t even deserve this one star but you have to select it…

i call the pharmacy on a saturday when they opened. i was on hold for 30 minutes. so i decided to drive down, all the while on hold using my bluetooth. when i got to the store i walked back to the pharmacy. the pharmacist and her helper were chatting about their lives. i know this because i could hear them. i was left at the counter for two to three minutes while they finished talking. when i was finally waited on, the helper/cashier was very rude. she sighed alot, exhaled, rolled her eyes and made clicking noises with her mouth when i asked if she would try something different. she refused to email my docter for a refill. she told me i had to contact my docter on my own. i will never use wallgreens again. i went to WALLMART. they have much better prices. i was suprised to find out. i emailed wallgreens corporate. they did not reply.

This place must struggle. It’s in a rough location to start with, but the people that work there seem a bit off and aren’t all that helpful. Good luck.

Wow, So, the other day, my wife went in there with our kids. While checking out, she was behind one of the guys who works there normally(not working at this moment, but checking out himself) My wife accidentally set her basket down on the checkout stand on this guys newspaper or magazine, he pushed my wife with his elbow and said, «WATCHOUT». Now, I wasn’t there, but if I was, things might have turned out differently. My wife sort of looked at the guy and didn’t react much because she was in complete shock at what had just happened. Fortunately for Walgreens and this guy, I have kept my distance from the store for fear of contracting an STD by walking through the door. I am secretly hoping to run into this guy in the store sometime, maybe in a back room or something like that. Keep you eye out fellow Unilocalers on Fox News for Portland’s Most Wanted: «Clerk Assaulted At a Local Walgreens» by a tall dark and handsome gentleman who looked completely unassuming. haha. Anyway, I’m pretty pissed at this guy, and because he works there, it just add to my dislike for this store in particular.

My favorite Walgreens was out of stock of a particular product that is on sale this week, so I called ahead at this one to see if they had it in stock. They did, so I arrived to find they did have it in stock. But it wasn’t marked on sale here. However I knew better and got the pharmacy to scan it so I could see its price in the system — aha, it WAS on sale. Crappy Walgreens is so crappy they don’t bother to mark sale products on sale. And today that was to my benefit. But that awful checker — Richard is his name — was surly as ever and made the transaction as grueling as possible. I know nobody in their 70s wants to be working at Walgreens but seriously man, don’t look so constipated and act like I am an evil person for expecting you to do your job. If he is working next time I go in I seriously think I am going to try to check out at the pharmacy or photo department just to avoid bothering him. However! The other employees in the store were nice enough to retain the 2 stars. Kick Richard off the register and make him stock stuff and put these glowing faces up front, please.

Small incident with their hours, but otherwise ok. In middle of night, I was in need for drug store. Look for 24hr store on my mobile, this store came up. When I drove over, it wasn’t 24hr. Show up at 7am, but the store was not open again. Their manager got caught up, so they were late opening… other than that, I was able to quickly find all the things I need. Also it was great that they had FSA items identify

24 hours for a prescription refill? Is this industry standard or something? I never really do prescription drugs, so this is kind of new to me, but either way, I’m not sure I like it. Other than that, I could sum up this Walgreen’s in three words: Convenient but ghetto.
