Seriously, a delicious vegan pizza for $ 5? And smoothies for way less than the trendy shops? This cart is all about value and great food. Nice covered tables out back. Try the pesto! Yep, vegan cheese is a turn-​off for many, but the pies have so much flavor that you won’t event be thinking about cheese.

This is a great new vegan cart on SE Hawthorne. My girlfriend and I finally tried it out tonight after months of wanting to do so. We had the «roasted» and «garlic» pizzas and shared the two half & half. These were SO delicious! I loved the garlic cloves on the «roasted» pizza and I’m pretty sure that it will kill the remnants of the cold I’ve been struggling with for the past week. And if there are any vampires in the Sunnyside neighborhood tonight, they will not be coming anywhere near us. You can’t get vegan pizza this good for $ 5 anywhere! They also make fresh juices at a very reasonable price. We each had the beet-​apple-​carrot + ginger juice and it was great. For dessert we tried the fruit with the cayenne sprinkled on top. It was really flavorful. a great combination of sweet & spicy. Don’t let the weather draw you away from trying this cart. Tucked right behind but not visible from Hawthorne is covered bench seating. I hope vegans and vegan-​friendly people alike will all come out and help support this new vegan business because I want to be able to keep eating their pizza for a long time to come!

Love this cart! $ 5 gets you an 8″ pizza packed with toppings. All 4 varieties sounded great, with artichoke hearts, pesto, roasted garlic, sundried tomato, pepperoncini peppers and other tasty morsels. We ordered two, and when they were coming out of the oven the owner wanted to make me another one because he thought my crust looked too dark. It looked great to me, and it was — very tasty, flavorful, with contrasting and complementary flavors, a crispy crust that was not too thick and not too thin. When I first saw the 8″ pan I thought it might be a light lunch, but honestly it was pretty filling without being too much food.
When I went to bring the pan back to the window, Antonio had made me another pizza! He didn’t want me to be unhappy and was still worried about the crust. He packed it up to go and insisted i take it with me. He told us he had 12 years of experience with pizza and saw the cart for sale and he and his wife decided to try it out. I’m sure glad they did! With its convenient location and great food, this is sure to become a popular spot.
