Swayy Salon

I came into Swayy after a two year-​old, d.i.y. bleach job left my strands dry, brittle and lifeless. My hair had not had an actual cut in a long time and was shapeless and flat. I realized it was time for a drastic change, and so did Carmel. Cut. Color. Glaze. I was taken from a bland, ash brunette to a vibrant, sexy red head. The change was definitely needed and I left Swayy feeling so much more confident in my appearance! This, all thanks to Carmel’s wonderful ability to see the best in people, and match their hair to inner and natural beauty. She also does custom color, so your hair color will only be walking down the street on you. I won’t be going anywhere else in Portland from now on.
The salon has a beautiful, chic décor blended with some «rough around the edges» vintage pieces. It is comfortable to be here, with the offer of an espresso while you wait. Nothing short of the most wonderful attention to detail and excellent service everyone should experience.

Love this place sooo much! My girl Carmel has cut my hair after I tried to cut my own bangs, she just recently gave me highlights! And my life was highlightedI’ve always wondered what how I would look as a strawberry blonde? I never really trusted anyone with my hair, until now! Carmel did such a great job on my hair, that my sister went and got her hair done:). We you Carmel, and she has good wine to which is always a plus!
