Wow! What can I say out this world! Writing as I’m getting a deluxe pedicure. The price is amazing the care and love that she puts into you is amazing, back today because yesterday was so impressed with price and service top of the line service with people who actually care for you heavenly

My mother-​in-​law and I treated ourselves pedicures here. They did great! I hadn’t ever had one done, so I guess I’m not a great critic, but I think these gals were professional and polite and our toes look fantastic!

Went here for the first time to get a mani-​pedi with my bridesmaids before my wedding. The place is small, but the staff are very friendly and skilled. I was very satisfied with both my manicure (Shellac) and pedicure, and they lasted a long time. The only thing I would say is that it did take longer than expected for them to finish (about 2 and a half hours total!), but I appreciated their diligence and attentiveness. Definitely got our money’s worth!

First time to snow nails today. My husband and I got side by side pedicures (organic deluxe). They got us right in, very hygienic, thorough and relaxing (my husband fell asleep). We will be back!!! Thank you guys for excellent service and atmosphere

Pretty toes courtesy of the lovely ladies at Snow Nail. They were attentive and easy to work with. Offered tea or water upon entering and gave us a menus of choices with no upsell. I paid for 3 of us and we each had a variety of services and when it came time to pay they broke it down for me by person and treatment without me even having to ask them to do it. Intricate flower work and shellac.

Went to Snow for the first time last week and had a great experience. My appointment time was honored right on the dot and I got my manicure and pedicure at the same time, which was helpful because I was on lunch break from work.
They took lots of time to make sure both my feet and hands were well taken care of. No chips yet and everything is still looking fresh. AC worked really well on a hot day.

I came in for a mani pedi with a girlfriend for a treat. The pedicure was pretty nice. I had a good massage, for about 5 minutes. Which is a lot longer than some places. So that was nice. They didn’t do the best job cleaning up around my cuticles, which I didn’t have too much to clean since I jus went for one a couple weeks ago.
When she was doing my fingernails I had a really bag cut right under my nail and I had warned her about it and she said she understood. I also told her she didn’t have to cut my nails and she didn’t have to file much because I had just filed them in the morning for her. THinking that she shouldn’t change the shape at all and just sparpen the edges, she totally ruined the shape. They went from flat top to «rounded.» I didn’t make a big deal after she did the first one because, I didn’t want her to only 1 one and have all my nails look different, so I left her proceed. Once I was done with the appt, I saw that all my nails were crooked and mishapen. They were NOT the same and they were not all rounded the same way. I went home and re did the whole manicure myself because I couldn’t bare to look at it anymore. I also noticed when I got home that my toes were crookedly shaped. That has never happened to me before, only the fingernails.
Back to my cut, (which I know I sound like a baby) but she would keep hitting it (which is expected in a manicure) and i would flinch, cuz it hurt. She got really annoyed with me everytime I flinched and started saying thing sunder her breath and giving me dirty looks. I don’t need to say more.
Overall I spent over $ 40 for a mani pedi and that I wish I never got. If you’re not too particular about what i didn’t like, go ahead and give it a try.

I get my gel nails done by Chin at Snow Nails. I’ve had a lot of manicures in my life, and she does the best job so far. I highly recommend this salon. It is located on fun Hawthorne. It is always so relaxing to get a manicure or pedicure here. Enjoy! Thank you, Chin!

Superb nail shop. They fit me in given only 30 minutes left until closing on a Saturday night. I was greeted by a friendly group of regulars, and left with several friendly encounters with even more regulars. I would say the customers speak highly of the business and staff, and would recommend this nail salon to all my friends! Check it out for yourself.

Love this place! Very nice ladies that do a wonderful job! Great prices too!

WARNING!!! Do NOT go here for brow waxing!!! I just spent the last 30 minutes crying in my car after leaving the salon.
See the pictures I added. The woman destroyed my perfect thick brows. All I wanted was the area around my brows waxed and for her to trim the long hairs. What I got was a chunk of one my brows completely ripped off in the middle and several stray hairs left around them.
I now have to pay $ 350 to get them permanently filled before my wedding next weekend because filling in the missing chunk with makeup looks uneven and fake. Worst brow waxing I’ve ever had.

I went here before a job interview to get my eyebrows waxed. There was no wait time at all. My eyebrows are exactly what I wanted! The employee did a way better job than I expected. She even painted my nails for free!!! This was the cheapest price for eyebrow waxing I could find on the SE part of town. I will definitely be a regular here :)

Best gel nails in town!!! $ 25 = meticulous manicure, excellently layered shelac, a hand massage, friendly service, and 2+ weeks of wear.
Ive lived here for a few yrs and have traversed the city searching for the best shelac nails. Took two years but I finally found them at Snow Nails and wont go elsewhere.

I did say «never again», but I cannot tell a lie — I did go back. And I had a much better experience and result! I will chalk my first experience up to a fluke.

This is a pretty basic, not much frills nail salon. On trendy Hawthorne, this place is kind of cute and quaint. It’s not pristine clean, but not dirty either. Average pricing and service. Above average massage, and for much longer than most places that really sent me into the clouds. For that reason I left satisifed and would return!

LOVE Snow Nails! Been going here ever since moving to Portland over 3 years ago. They are super accommodating and always recognize me with a smile.
Things I love about them:
15 minute massage with your mani and pedi! Most places give you maybe a a few minute not so amazing massage. Not this place! They don’t mess around.
Very meticulous and perfect pedicures. They also listen to how you like your nails to look (nail shape, short vs longer etc).
Nice soothing music– usually classical or piano. Some salons have the «top 40» complete with radio ads which isn’t so fun.
I kind of feel like I’m part of the family at this place. They definitely value long time patrons and sometimes give out special offers.

I’ve been going to Snow Nails & Spa for a little over a year now, and this is hands-​down the best I’ve experienced in Portland!
Normally, I’ll do a monthly manicure & pedicure, and both Snow and Hana are super professional, detail oriented and proud of doing a good job! Very competitive pricing too! Plus, their massage chairs are new and very fancy, and general equipment is updated and replaced on a regular bases. As an ongoing promotion, french tips and/​or painted nail art is free on Mondays and Tuesdays, and right now they’re running a special of $ 8 for eyebrow waxing.
There are a lot of choices in Portland for similar services, but this is the only pampering lounge I go to anymore. Very happy customer!

This place is so friendly! They welcome you with open arms and don’t make you feel like they are talking smack about you. 20 dollars gets you a basic pedicure including a scrub and massage. 30 dollars is an upgrade pedicure with paraffin wrap and warm towel wrap. Trust me its worth indulging! My feet always comes out fresh and clean after stepping inside this warm and inviting oasis. It’s located right on a corner on Hawthrone. A cute little house that you can’t miss!!! Don’t miss out on free French/​nail art Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

Never one to turn down a massage or a pedicure, I said «Hell yes!» to my friends invitation to use up some gift certificates she got for Snow Nail.
The gal who took our appointment the day prior forgot to pass on the message, but the darling gals who were working today squeezed us in. They offered us the yummiest complimentary fruity green tea and chocolates while we waited (all of 5 minutes).
I got to go first. For starters, they have massage chairs. Ohhhh yeah! You get a remote control to set your massage however you choose (upper back, back & neck, lower back etc). You can also have your derrière massaged. I did, for about 2 minutes, but that setting had me bouncing all over the chair. It was pretty comical. Far and away, the best part of the pedicure is when they massage your feet & calves. However; my friend preferred the paraffin wax dip.
The finale is walking out with prettied up, newly polished piggies. They have about 100 OPI colors to choose from, plus numerous other brands. I stick with OPI and choose by the name of the color. I chose something like Crimson & Clover (that isn’t it, but similar in sound). The ladies that work there (well, the 3 we interacted with today) are extremely sweet and very professional. They also give out $ 20 coupons. You can’t beat that for what you get. My mom has never had a pedicure so you can be sure I will be taking her there for her birthday!
