I’d like better service. Sniff Hotel and Café presents itself as an upscale, classy place. I came in the café pretty soon after opening; it was mostly empty. I pulled up a chair at the bar, but it was wet and sticky from something spilled on it. The bartender didn’t clean it even after she brought me my food and drink. They didn’t have any gluten free food, so I just ordered a banana and an orange. The bartender walked over, and just set them down in front of me right on the bar.(I was working on my laptop and there was no way I could just eat those without some napkin, plate, etc.) Regardless, they should have been served better. I asked her for a plate or something, and then she did bring one out for me with a knife and napkin. Finally, she served me my coffee, which was ok, but sealed in a paper to-go cup. Weird — I mean, what is this? A cheap-o food cart, or a classy café where I’m comfortable hanging out and talking to people? The crowd, as usual, was very friendly, and saved the atmosphere.

Super friendly staff, amazing coffee and espresso drinks(love the unsweetened hemp milk lattes!) and they make the yummiest bagel sandwiches I have ever had(the arugula bacon tomato is amazing). I’m going back this morning for both. They also have beer on tap and you can watch the dogs in doggie day care at Sniff Hotel while you wait for you drink and food. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Found my new before/after work stop! Love this place! I can’t wait to bring my fur baby in for playtime while I’m at work!

The barista chick with the dyed hair and tatts is nuts and creates a hectic uncomfortable environment. The coffee and food were good.

No dog for me, but I was hungry and it was around the corner from where I was going. I grabbed the pizza which was a pre-cooked crust freshly topped. It was cooked quickly and lacked anything exciting. The guy at the counter wasn’t interested in chatting, just watching tv. I got a Strongbow and ate my pizza and left. Happy hour gets you free dog play time while you eat/drink. The window is large and it was nice to watch the pups play.

Dogs and drinks! We go to Sniff’s Happy Hour(5pm — 7pm) as often as possible. The staff is always eager to please, the drinks(Beer, Wine, Coffee, and Soft) are reasonably priced and the snacks are unique. But the best part is watching the dogs play! Bring your four-legged friend with you and they get two hours of complementary play time. Their indoor play area has attendants present at all times to ensure safety and to keep things clean. They do have a maximum capacity, but if you call in advance it is easy to get a reservation. Love this place.

Sniff Café is attached to Sniff Dog Hotel. Mainly coffee drinks, wine, beer and snacks, but they also do some more substantial things like wraps, sandwiches and pizza. We went for Happy Hour yesterday. They have this deal that I think is brilliant — you can bring your pooch and drop him/her off for free doggie day care while you partake of HH offerings from 5PM-7PM. Sniff has a very nice, well attended dog play area that’s visible through a huge plate glass window so you can even watch your pup play with others while you sip and nibble. They only take dogs they know — they confirm immunization records and evaluate your dog’s temperament in advance and keep this info on file. We had a pizza that was surprisingly good. I had a tasty malbec and Ronda a pinot gris — both at $ 1 off for HH. Staff is incredibly friendly, both on the Café and the Hotel side of the window. Only a couple of things keep me from giving 5 stars. While they have a decent selection of wines by the glass and bottled beers, they offer only one beer on tap at a time. First time I visited this was Deschutes Green Lakes. Last night it was Blue Moon, which I’m not a huge fan of. An additional tap would be nice. Also, I’d like to see a few more substantial food offerings. The pizza was good, but it was either that or a couple of wraps or sandwiches to choose from. Maybe this was because it was 6PM and they were sold out of things. I’ll return and hope for more selection.
