Smoother Image

I have gone to many electrologists in the Portland area and I must say, Smoother Image on SW Morrison and Joan Gilbert are truly the most fabulous! The customer service is stellar, the scheduling is flexible and easily works conveniently and the results are just out standing! I would not go to anyone else; I have and I was NOT happy! Thank you Joan for doing what you do and providing a service in a professional, effective, reasonably priced way! I’d never go any where else!

My aunt, a very classy lady who lives in the West hills and only settles for the best of everything, recommended I go to Joan Gilbert for facial hair removal. I have really sensitive skin, and I was nervous at first about the process, since I had never done electrolysis before. Would I break out? Would it be too painful? I needn’t have worried. Joan was very understanding, and talked me through everything. It wasn’t as painful as I feared, and I have actually come to enjoy my visits to Joan’s office.
Which gets me to perhaps the best part of the treatment: chatting with Joan. She is really sweet and fun to talk to, and helps distract me from the process by telling stories about her cats (she has 13 of them!) and her garden, and lots of other things I would never expect from someone in the beautician world.
I love the way I look after a treatment, and I am happy to have found Smoother Image. I would highly recommend it, especially if you are new to electrolysis.
