Patty (owner of Shibumi) does a wonderful job cutting my hair. She takes her time and asks questions about what I want and how I want my hair to look. Getting my hair done is like an hour at the spa… just relax and be pampered! Professional, caring, and an expert at her craft! Thanks Patty. You are the BEST!

Been coming to Elise for about 7 years and have ALWAYS loved my hair and color! I HIGHLY recommend her to friends and family. I appreciate her knowledge, expertise, & honest opinion about what to expect when I changing my hair or color. She cut off 12 inches a couple years ago and I totally trust her!
All of the gals at the salon are super nice and always friendly also.
I drive from Vancouver to see her.

TIFFANY stood my daughter up on her wedding day. Today October 19th. She was to meet us at 8am. Finally reached her at 8:30. She said she’s be there at 9:15. 9:15 she called and said she WOULD NOT BE COMING. Luckily the M/​W Salon at 1015 NW Lovejoy took us in. Patrick did a great job. Though we are going to be 1.5 hours hours late in our schedule. No excuses made, no attempt to help us find someone else. Not a professional. Do not patronize this salon or this person.

Camille Orehovec is my favorite hair dresser anywhere — and I’ve gotten hair cuts all around the world! I come see her everytime that I am in Portland and I am always thrilled with the results. She is responsive to my needs and always has good suggestions if I’m up for trying something new. She’s not only talented with the scissors, but she’s also personable and charming. I’d recommend her to anyone!

I’ve been going to Elise for years, before she was at Shibumi and before she had gotten all her hair awards. I always trust her judgement and know she won’t guide me wrong with my hair. She’s been telling me for a long time she’d love to dye my hair because «virgin hair» is so rare anymore but she knows I love my color and I just want a great cut that will last for awhile. She really knows what she’s doing as does all the staff at the Salon and they all go out of their way for their clients. So, if you’re looking for a good hair cut thats not going to cost you your first child I’d highly recommend any of the stylists at Shibumi.
