Classic Permanent Makeup

I wish I had found Ellie 8 yrs ago when I first began tattooing my brows. After multiple years and rounds with another première cosmetic tattoo artist I had an opportunity to work with Ellie. I will underscore again I wish I had worked with her from the very beginning.
All I have to say is she nailed it in one visit. She corrected and managed to balance my brows equally which I had never received from the other artist. This is the first time that I can go out without having to go over my brows with brow makeup.
She allowed me to draw the brow shape on myself which I will be forever grateful for. She is truly exacting, patient, and listens. Ellie blended the color beautifully taking out the grey and getting the depth of color balanced between my two brows (one always faded dramatically over the other within weeks of tattooing, but with my one visit with Ellie the color is holding beautifully).

Ellie Frost is a skilled artist who has taken her talent for art and combined it with permanent makeup tattoos. Her ability to understand balance and color enables her to achieve a variety of looks, my favorite being a natural almost effortless look. I have received several compliments on my eye brows, eye liner and lips.
Ellie provides a safe, clean, and organized work environment. She takes precautions to assure you are comfortable by providing some numbing agent to the intended areas. I found most of the pain minimal though this is a tattoo so expect some discomfort. When necessary, she has stopped and allowed more time for the numbing agent to take effect. I personally believe her knowledge, including first hand experience, enables her to provide the best experience.
Ellie’s dedication to her art extends past the initial application. She encouraged me to return for touch up and was excellent at returning my calls when I had questions regarding the healing process. She is a joy to work with. I recommend her highly!!!

Ellie did a fabulous job on my eyes and lips. As a mom of young children, I absolutely do not have the time to fuss with makeup. Now I don’t have to. I just get up and go. I wanted it to look natural too, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. She’s a true artist, so if you’re thinking about getting it done, look no further.
I cannot say enough about how much I love my makeup. I haven’t worn a stitch of makeup beyond a little gloss or the occasional mascara in months. Ellie is the best.

My first permanent make-​up experience was with Ellie last month. I had never even done a tattoo– but, as a boomer with very light skin and brows (which lighten more every year) and tired of eye make-​up application, it was time to be brave.
I am very happy with the results of brows and liner. Ellie was very friendly and thorough in her explanation of what to expect, both with application discomfort and healing. She was gentle, always tuned in to the slightest discomfort.
The healing part was not bad at all– there was little initial swelling which disappeared quickly.

Ellie Frost is an EXCEPTIONAL permanent make-​up artist! Her talent, expertise and personal attention are above and beyond the quality and standards of other permanent make-​up artists. I researched, extensively, to find the best artist. Doctors, stylists and lay people all directed me to contact Ellie. I had my brows tattooed previously by two other local permanent make-​up «artists» in a salon. The shape and color never resulted in the desired outcome. Within less than a year, my brows were orange! And, the shape was way too long. All my life I had full brows. But they had fallen out after a very stressful year, which is why I organically had them tattooed.
Ellie responded to my inquiry within 24 hours. I set an appointment to talk more about what I wanted corrected and what I didn’t like. During the first appointment Ellie spent several hours with me, listening, suggesting and ultimately making a collaborative decision to begin the process of beautifying my brows by making them full, with the right color and shape. I am 52 years old and was concerned about the effect more tattooing would have on my skin. I can honestly say, they look better than I could have wished!!! And, I have returned 2 – 3 times for touch-​ups at no cost. Ellie is a rarity in the industry. Allowing someone to apply permanent changes to our face is always a bit frightening. However, with Ellie, I have trust in her ability and judgment. She has class and taste with a comfortable style in demeanor and artistic application. I have confidence in any decision about future permanent make-​up with Ellie. She has made it all okay. I no longer feel like I need to hide or cover-​up my eyebrows, because now they are natural and beautiful!!!

My Eyeliner is PERFECT! Between owning a boat and scuba diving, I am in the water a lot. I love that I always have some dimension to my eyes. Ellie’s experience and artistic background give her the tools to give you the best permanent make up. I wanted a bold thick top eyeliner and that is what I got. Complete with a little «cat eye» flick on the ends. Small downside is that it is time consuming. Not any fault of Ellie’s. There needs to be a certain amount of time for the numbing cream to take affect. And you will want it to! It is initially painful, but once that cream kicks in it is no problem. Thanks Ellie!

After doing a bunch of online research, I sent my step-​mom to Ellie to get her eyeliner, eyebrows, and lips done for a birthday gift. At first my mom was reluctant, because, hey, it is permanent, but after consulting with Ellie, she was confident to get going with the procedures. Ellie was great in creating a look perfect for my mom and her facial features. The results have made my mom so happy! It took three visits that were easy to schedule. Ellie is high-​tech so my mom was able to schedule using email, text and on the phone. I paid for the procedures with a card and it took 30 seconds (Ellie has this cool little card reader that she plugs into her phone!). I cannot recommend Ellie high enough!

Excellent! What a difference! I came to Ellie Frost for a botched job by another makeup artist and she customer mixed my color to my skin tone which really accentuated my green eyes. She also concealed the mistakes previously made by someone else and evened out my eyebrows. I would highly recommend Ellie for her skills and professionalism.

Better to just continue using makeup!
Ellie is experienced but she also has hardwired habits. Meaning, no matter the shape or coloring of your skin/​hair/​eyes/​lips/​etc, she’ll use her regular default colors/​techniques on you regardless. Meaning, you’re probably not going to walk out with exactly what you walked in wanting. Meaning, you’re eyes will be too light on top, too dark on the bottom, your brows will be too bold and not the shape you want, and your lips will looked permanently boldly lined in hot pink/​reddish. Prices are somewhat excessive — you can find better services for less. Scheduling is unorganized so don’t be surprised if you show up to find that you’ll be re-​scheduled for another day or waiting for your appt to start. Making a payment is easy — but that’s about the only positive thing you’ll experience. Ellie is a nice lady, but my advice is to go for modern competence over personality.

I never thought I’d want permanent makeup until I saw my friend’s. I didn’t even realize it was permanent until it came up in conversation. I had Ellie do my eyes the very next day, and it looks amazing. I really like a natural look, and my eyes always look perfect, but not too intense. I could never get my eyeliner that perfect. Nice fine line right next to the lashes. Very natural yet makes a very nice and noticeable difference. All the pigment stayed on as well. She does a free touchup after one month, but I don’t think I’ll even be needing it. I’m traveling from Southern California to have her do my permanent makeup. Well worth the trip for such a permanent thing to be done the right way!
