I like the laid back trailer park atmosphere on occasion without all the young tweekers that hang out in this part of town. They also have a nice large Patio area.
Only real drinkers or poker machine Junkys should venture in this place.

My favorite old regular pub in the area. The lottery room is yet to be desired in the context of customer basis, however I appreciate the staff and the fact that the regulars pretty much rule this hole in the wall hallway bar. The back patio is smoker friendly and heated. It’s lined with tiled waist height bar styled tables, it is covered from the rain and leads out into a fenced parking area that looks out on Powell. Rumor has it that the owner will soon be putting a food cart and tables out back which will be great if the neighborhood can handle the responsibility of that kind of freedom. We will see. Go in early and say hi to buzz or in the afternoon and talk to any of the other four tenders. These guys are welcoming and real which makes this place the highlight of the area when it comes to pubs. Look for the Hamm’s bear! You’ve found the right place… Well… As long as you aren’t into clubs or loud young people.
