Love this place. Great drinks, friendly people, good music, all you can eat Sundays. Good drink sizes as well .Make sure you tip them if you check it out

If you’re looking for that neighborhood bar feel, but want a hoppin’ place to spend any night of the week. Papa’s is it. There’s karaōke on the weekends, hot bartenders everyday, and loosely followed OLCC laws. What does that mean? It means the drinks are damn good, and every now and then a bartender might hop up onto the bar and dance a karaōke gig Coyote Club style! Pouring a bit of tasty liquor into her fans mouths as she sings, straight from the bottle! There are a couple of pool tables, video poker machines and a jukebox… and a great, green, deck out back! The only tip I have is that every now and then someone gets rowdy and the police are called, be ready to take your leave when the natives get restless. Have your ID ready on the weekends, it’s taken at the door.

Not too keen on the tweeker crowd this place draws, or the limitations on karaōke to appease that crowd. I do think the building and bar set up is 5 star for a Far East side establishment. I like the theme being kinda Irishish.,… Drinks are good and prices good.

I would love this place for the $ 2 vodka & energy and the $ 4 jaeger bombs, but then I came and I signed up for a karaōke song. I was 17th in line, which was understandable since there were a lot of people there. When it got to song 16, I looked up and saw that I was next. The next time I looked up, I saw another person was ahead of me all of a sudden. I started to wonder what was going on. When the next guy came up, I was ready to go on next, but when I looked up again, I saw there was another person ahead of me AGAIN. Now I started to feel disrespected. I walked up in front of the karaōke stage just to make sure I didn’t get skipped again. When it was finally my song, I took the mic not saying anything unkind, though I admit I looked visibly annoyed; the KJ told me to chill out. Well, I’m sorry, but that was really rude to bump me for two songs for no good reason. Now I know why the drinks are so cheap here. I won’t be going for karaōke again that’s for sure! I didn’t tip the KJ, but I made sure to tip the bartender, because she worked for those tips.

If u want a little neighborhood bar that makes a mean drink then this is the place to go. My bloody Mary was as good as it gets and at only $ 5 served in a pint glass I was very happy and buzzed after 2. Yes they are very liberal with the booze. My only complaint was they don’t serve food. I was hoping to get breakfast with my drinks. Oh well. I will be returning for the drinks though
