Everything at Pizzicato is amazing. Everything. The pizza, the paninis, the salad, and the cookies. I want to eat everything from here, all the time. At my last company in Portland, I catered from them all the time because they made people so happy. They have both vegan and gluten-free options too. No need to order from Sizzle Pie, which tastes like hipster cardboard — I mean, unless you’re drunk and it’s 2am. Nothing you could order here — which is a lot — could ever disappoint you. They even gave me an entirely wrong pizza when I went in to pick up my call-in order and I still didn’t care. «Don’t care Ron Swanson gif*

Hadn’t been been to Pizzicato for awhile; last night we ordered two slices to go. The Puttanesca had maybe one whole olive total, both slices were barely covered with cheese. The very minimum of cheese and other ingredients covered these slices. What happened??? We won’t be back. Went to bed hungry.

Really good cheese pizza. Perfectly done thin crust with the right amount cheesy goodness making it a scrumptious pie. They have a nice happy hour beer and pie for $ 6 which is a great bargain. Pizza might be slightly expensive but I think it is worth it. I would definitely repeat again.

What can I say except the pizza and service are excellent. Creative pizza, paninis, salads, appetizers and chocolat brownies that are mouth watering. I always buy extra brownies to pop in the freezer. I have my favorites, but their monthly seasonal offerings are so wonderful I’m often sidetracked by them. Not only is the food and service excellent, but there are monthly emails that offer savings and they also have a «buy 12 get 1 free» policy which can save a tidy amount when it’s an extra large pizza. We always have our food delivered and the food is piping hot and the salads cool. The couple of times there’s been the smallest problem with our order there’s always a sincere apology and a comp as a monetary apology Oh, and there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu items available. Customizing your order is always happily done. If you’re interested in consistently delicious, creative food with top notch service this restaurant’s for you!

Went to Pizzicato on a whim last week, and I’m sorry to say we won’t be back again. My boyfriend and I each got our own personal sized pizza(his was a pepperoni GF, and mine was regular with pepperoni and onions), and we each got a bottle of soda. My eyes almost popped out of my head when the total popped up to $ 38. Seriously? The pizza itself was definitely not worth that kind of price tag. It had way too much sauce for my taste, and it was a little bland. He liked his, but primarily because it’s a bit more difficult to find a decent GF pizza. Keep your caviar and gold dust. We’ll be heading to Straight from New York instead.

Decent heat to order pizza. Usually some creative options to order by the slice. Can’t go wrong with the happy hour beer and a slice for $ 6.

Good, consistent pizza. This location has excellent customer service, and is the reason we order from them so much. Delivery is not always on time, and almost never hot(or even warm), but the customer service here is great, and we don’t mind reheating. A few times our delivery has been really late, or they ran out of something we ordered, but the staff has gone above and beyond to fix the problem and make it up to us. Pizza can get a little pricey, but sign up for their monthly e-mails and they send you lots of coupons, like free upgrades to larger pizzas or 20 percent off, $ 5 off, etc. Sweet deals! Their pizza is always good and I do love that they offer Whole Wheat crust. We’ve tried all the Appetizers, and the Breadsticks are a must. So good and so cheesy! I really love their Seasonal Bruschetta offerings, and you can’t go wrong with them. You’ll be happy with any pizza you get, but my favorites are the Patate e Prosciutto(prosciutto with potatoes, mushrooms & smoked mozzarella), The Gamberetto(garlicky shrimp, feta and roasted peppers) and the Rudy’s(lamb sausage, mascarpone and caramelized onion). Their seasonal pizzas are really delicious, too!

Great pizza and great customer service. We split the puttenesca pizza. Loaded with fresh and flavorful toppings. Would definitely recommend if you want authentic and fresh pizza.

Great pizza! Their salads are wonderful as well. I usually get it delivered and EVERYONE at this location from the order taker to the delivery person is SUPER friendly and attentive. Also, best gluten free pizza in p-town. Well done!

3 – 5 stars for the pizza — it was good, but nothing special. However, the house-made Arugula Pear salad with candied walnuts and gorgonzola was absolutely divine! Pizzicatos was also very accommodating to the very large group we brought in. I’ll be back for the salad!

Great pizza, sandwiches and salad. I always get a slice with their pancetta chicken avocado sandwich! My mouth is watering just thinking about it… They are all so nice inside and even let me place an order after they were closed once! — they left their door unlocked by accident and I strolled in and placed an order. They agreed without blinking an eye Nd it wasn’t until, after I laid them did I realize they were closed! Oops! They have seasonal pizza or monthly– I can’t remember but they come up with something different and fresh all the time and I love I try something new. The prices are great and the selection is extensive… You can mix things up on the menu and they can usually do it for you.

Some of the best pizza around, decent prices and delicious breadsticks. I just wish they were open later.

I love this place. Their gluten free slices are a great deal(esp. at happy hour) and the crust gets better and better. Most notably, the staff is awesome. They hustle to get food on the table; always go out of their way to be welcoming and attentive. Funny. Personable. If you’re one of those people who complains about service in Portland, go to Pizzicato. You won’t be disappointed.

I LOVE pizzicato. Even more now that I’ve tried their gluten free crust! I haven’t had a ton of GF pizzas so I’m not going to compare to other places, but it was yummy. Ever since I went GF I have been sad about not eating pizza… well not anymore! My fav combo is the margherita pizza with feta added. The regular crust is amazing… the gluten free isn’t the same, but it’s good. Every location I’ve been to(4 of them) has been very consistent. Also, they have the best price on GF pizza. Other places charge up a lot more than they do, and they just started carrying a large size GF crust. They used to only have a 12 inch.

After an extremely embarrassing number of Pizzicato deliveries, I feel that I need to write a review.(Yes, we’ve bought enough whole pies that we have gotten our free pie, and we are well on our way to a second free pie. Do not do the math on this. You will be horrified.). But there is a reason for all this Pizzicato-ordering. In no particular order: 1. The staff are so friendly on the phone, and they actually seem to hear you, unlike the other chains, where there is an awful lot of «What?» and«Did you say…» etc. Gotta love a short, simple call. It sounds unimportant, but, trust me, it’s not. 2. The delivery people are a microcosm of all that I love about Portland. There are cute alterna-girls, and boy hipsters, and they arrive in a Scion, and everyone is just so smiley and polite – you have to love them! 3. There are lots of non-traditional pizza options. I love me some Thai Chicken Pizza. I love me some Al Greco with lamb sausage and tzatziki. I really lovely me some whatever the seasonal item is – asparagus BELONGS on pizza, as does butternut squash. So, there you have it. A shocking amount of money. But nothing beats the comfort of food appearing at your front door through virtually no effort on your part.
