I am visiting from out of town and called in an order at 11:20pm on a Monday night for delivery. The person on the other end originally asked me what my cell number was and when I said I was at a hotel they asked me what the hotel phone number was and said it would take 50 minutes and it never got here. I waited for an hour and 40 minutes. When I called to check where the pizza was after an hour they said he was on his way so I went downstairs in the lobby to wait. I was sitting downstairs for 30 minutes and decided to call again and they said they didn’t have a phone number or room number and I told them I had been waiting downstairs and didn’t see anyone and neither did the woman at the front desk who I informed I ordered a pizza after I first called. When I called to cancel the order at 1am the person on the other line told me to leave a phone number or room number next time instead of apologizing. And as I previously stated the person who originally took my order got my cell number but then asked for the hotel number instead. I don’t usually complain and work in customer service and I was extremely disappointed in the way this Pizza Hut operates especially being so close to the airport. I should’ve respected the person who posted before me when they said they had a terrible experience. Sidenote: this Pizza Hut is 1 mile from my hotel.

My pizzas came 45 minutes early(I ordered ahead of time for later in the day) They lost my order of 48 wings for a hospitality suite.

If I could base this review off of the delivery guy and his customer service then it would be 5 stars indefinitely! But, I can’t and I won’t! We ordered our pizza at 10:20 p.m. And didn’t receive it until a little after midnight(ridiculous right?). This location takes the cake for the longest delivery experience of my life! We even called a few times, decided we should add something to our order(just because) and he says, «If you add cinnamon sticks it’ll be another 30 minutes, we’re swamped!»… Wait WHAT??? They did change our personal Hawaiian into a large at no extra charge but I didn’t want a larger pizza so that didn’t make the situation any better! Our food was a bit dry and of course after all of that long waiting it was cold(let me add that we were less then a mile away)! We’re moving out of this area on Friday and trying to eat better anyways. Bad experiences with food that isn’t good for you just makes me realize how much better I should be doing! Happy Unilocaling…

Answering service was both annoying and unhelpful. I am literally 5 minutes from this place and they said I was outside the delivery area. Maybe I have to be close enough to throw the pizza to me. My guess is that the answering service doesn’t know what they are doing.

Can’t complain about this Pizza Hut. I did find it a little strange that I was connected up a «call center» versus the actual store itself but the call center is just for all of Portland and then the center puts your order through to the nearest Pizza Hut(strange I know). Pizza was delivered a few minutes early than the expected delivery time and was able to give a tip using my credit card since I wasn’t carrying any cash. Will order from again when in town visiting and have a craving for pizza. Recommend their thin crust :)
