One Drop Bottle Shop

Stopped by here to get some brews after a fulfilling meal at screen door. They have a great selection of beer and cider to choose from. We were on the fence on what to get, and one of the employees gave us really great recommendations based upon what we typically drink. The next time I am in Portland, I will definitely drop by to pick up a few bottles!

In the neighborhood. Small. Friendly. Personal service. Neighborhood discount. I do most of my shopping at a nearby natural foods market, wine, beer and cider included. I like it because I can walk there. I’m so glad I stopped in at One Drop to check it out. The prices are lower in most cases and good selection.
I will most definitely start buying my alcohol there from now on.

So Portland is known for having the most breweries per capita. Around every corner, you’re able to find a great local beer from a bar, brewpub, restaurant, or club. But then there are times, when you miss some of the qualities of home, and you want to drink something that isn’t regularly offered here in this city.
My first time into One Drop Bottle Shop (and it won’t be my last), was on a random Sunday afternoon after Thanksgiving. Now, it may have been the holiday spirit, but I was in the mood for some good Chicago beer. I came across One Drop and checked to see if they still had any Goose Island Bourbon County. To my surprise, the owner (I believe she was the owner), had a few bottles left. We chatted a bit about how new they were, but still managed to acquire such a great selection of beer. Now, I know that I live in the Pacific Northwest now, and I do love the different styles available to me. But I was fairly impressed at this tiny bottle shop having the ability to pick up some amazing beers from the East Coast and Midwest.

Excellent selection, excellent prices and even more excellent customer service. What’s not to love? Every time I go in I’m greeted with a warm welcome and every question I have is answered with depth and consideration. I like a wide range of beers, but this location is especially notable for the great selection of sours they have. I recommend the Anderson Valley Gose beers before diving into the more esteemed sours. The clearance section also offers some great deals at insanely low prices. Definitely one of the best shops out there.

Favorite bottle shop in town (yes more than Belmont Station or Beer Mongers). Their bottle selections seem highly curated, and because of this the staff can typically provide spot-​on recommendations. I’ve even recommended some new things I’ve tried to have them show up because the owner enjoyed them so much. Also, their prices are better than anywhere else.
While their variety doesn’t compare to the bigger names, the quality and personalized nature of their selection greatly makes up for it.

The boyfriend and I somewhat accidentally wandered into this shop shortly after it opened. We live in the neighborhood and the prospect of someplace to buy beer besides Plaid Pantry was enticing. We then had to actually keep ourselves from going too often, lest we become clingy. The people who own/​work the shop are very knowledgeable, without ever making you feel like you don’t know enough about beer. They definitely only carry nicer stuff, but the prices are quite reasonable for what you’re getting. I don’t know much about wine but they seem to have a good selection of it for a good price. The beer options are what really get me. They are constantly stocking new, local breweries and flavors, and can recommend something based on your tastes.

Exceptional selection of craft beers and wines. The owners are knowledgable of all of their products and are always helpful when I need a nudge in a specific direction. Great prices for the area (particularly cheaper than the whole foods down a few blocks). I’d much rather give my business to these guys! There’s always something new to find here.

Just discovered this little gem after debating whether to get another glass of wine over at Luce. My boyfriend said «let’s try this place and get a bottle instead»…I was thrilled to find that we could buy a delicious bottle of sparkling wine essentially for the price of the glass I decided to forgo.
The shop is super cute and the owner and staff are very, very nice and helpful. This place is the perfect addition to East burnside, and it’s wonderful to have some educated suggestions on local ciders. Loved it!

Welcome to the neighborhood! This is one of the best additions to the Buckman hood and E. Burnside. Conveniently located off the 20 and next to numerous local restaurants and shops. It’s great to have a cocktail nearby, then stop here for a take home drink.
They have a great selection of local ciders, beers and wines. Thoughtfully chosen and well labeled. There is something for everyone at every price point. Their pricing is totally fair and everything is sold at the right temperature and ready to take with you. Great gift ideas. They also carry coffee and other beverages.
I’m excited they are here and feel it’s a great fit for the demographic of this area and hope they are a success. They’ve already reached out to local neighbors and make their storefront look really nice. I plan on sending all my friends and clients here.
Did I mention they have champagne splits cold and they can fit in your pocket? If you don’t want to commit to a six pack of full bottles, they carry singles for more variety.

Such a great, new bottle shop! Right off the 20 line and perfect for grabbing a drink before or after dinner on Burnside. Nice location for locals who don’t want to trek over to Belmont Station. Carefully selected wine selection. Large beer variety and a growing cider fridge! Margie, the owner, is delightful and helpful!
