NW Priority Credit Union

This location is awesome, I have been a member of the Credit Union for over 19 years. They have an ATM at this location, and the staff there is always friendly. I saw the review of the lady that was complaining about her debit card and paypal. I have had the same issue but once I fixed my account at paypal this was a problem that was easy to fix. I have recommended the Credit Union to most of my family and almost all of them have joined. This is a great financial institution, I wouldn’t change for anything.

Everyone is so friendly. I have always been pleased with my postal credit union. What this other person has said sounds like anger over screwing up with their own money lol. What a lot of people don’t know it seems is that NWPCU has a financial advisor and she has made my life so much better. I also have a car loan through them and noticed today that they have the best auto loan in Oregon according to Sanantonio express news. Pretty cool. What I think I love most is that this cu has been around forever. I think it’s the oldest credit union in Portland actually. They are extremely understanding and loving!

This is by far the most outdated and worst bank I have ever had any experience with by far. We opened our account over a year ago now and had nothing but issues left and right. My partner is super big on credit unions and apparently this one is apart of the post office which is why we went here.
First it took them almost two months to get us our debit card. Seriously in this day and age that should not be a problem.

Then hello surprise they blocked the use of PayPal, something I have never heard of which is completely bogus in my opinion. They block all budget type systems, but have no budget system of their own. So I have to manually put things into of quickbooks.
They have the worst online banking system I have ever seen. No budget, no warning system about going negative, nothing. You can log in and check your account and that’s pretty much it.
I recently lost our debit card (we didn’t even bother trying to get a second one considering how long it took to get the first one). Bone head yes, bust still. A little money mix up and we went negative, they no longer reverse your first negative charge. Although, we were negative under $ 25, haven’t been charged for that in like 5 years. Oh and when you do go negative via your debit card, they cut off your card and then charge you $ 35 to turn it back on. They claim this is to prevent you from using your card again while in the negative. WTF??? You can’t use a debit card if it’s negative in the first place.
Sorry to say this bank is no better than the big banks out there. They have the worst customer service and try to bleed you of what little money you might have. We will be closing our account after this next week. When my partner gets his paycheck.
