They have really great beer on tap, the bartenders are very knowledgable and great at recommending beers. They also give you a dollar off a pint if you Boulder at the circuit on macadam and you get a stamp from the gym!!!

Friendly staff, decent beer selection, lots and lots of dogs. Don’t bring food unless you’re prepared to defend it from the dogs. And be careful where you stand or you’ll be knocked over by the dogs.

Great beers on tap! Thirty different varieties of PNW craft beer. Very cool set up, dogs are allowed on the outside and you can bring your own food or get tacos next door(when they are open). The owner and his dog(Amos) are very friendly. So glad a place like this opened in the neighborhood. You can drink brews here or buy growlers to go(along with a variety of craft 22s).

PUPPIES! PUPPIESEVERYWHERE!!! I love this place — it is my favorite growler/tap house in Southwest because PUPPIES! Besides the puppies, they have really friendly staff here, namely, Greg! Greg is super knowledgeable about beer and always make fantastic recommendations. I love the new tables they got, too! The ambiance is chill and you can bring your own food. They have free popcorn for you to munch on here, and sometimes if you accidentally dropped one, a clean up crew would show up immediately to help you clean up the mess ;) Met a lot of great people here, it’s a nice place to celebrate friendship and puppies with great beer/kombucha!

Grab a delicious beer with friends(including your 4-legged ones). Most dog-friendly bar in Portland!

Go here, try some new beer, make friends with a dog! I live in the neighborhood and NW Growlers has easily become my go to beer spot. They’re usually showing a soccer game on the tube too; which doesn’t hurt.

Great selection of delicious beers, ciders, and wines that frequently changes and is served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Family owned by locals. This location doesn’t serve food but the Sherwood one does. Easy store front parking. Very pet friendly. A couple of flat screens show whatever game happens to be on. Highly recommend for anyone looking to fill their growlers or just enjoy a great drink.

Last night was awesome! Butters had a great time hanging out with all the dogs there. They got 30 beer on tap, so there’s something for everyone. Even 2 types of kombuchas. They even have free popcorn for you to snack on. There’s no food menu that’s why it’s dog friendly. But you can bring your own food which is a great plus. This will definitely our weekly hangout especially on rainy days.

My neighborhood growler fill spot. They’ve got tons of rotating beers on tap, and the bartender who’s always there when we stop by is super nice and knowledgeable.

Warm beer and pretty(but clueless) service. The girls were cute but couldn’t answer a single basic question about their products.

The best place in the area to get a growler fill, a round of tasters, or a pint. A huge rotating selection of beers and ciders on top, with friendly/fun staff to help you decide. Also, free popcorn and dog friendly? Sold.

NW Growlers is the best. My wife and I have been going here ever since we moved to John’s Landing, and every time we go we make friends. We aren’t even big beer drinkers, but the atmosphere here is so great, it makes it such an inviting place to hang out. I like the place so much that we asked the owner, Johnny, if we could have my wife’s 30th birthday here! They let us have a private party for 25 of our close friends, and it was amazing. Jasmine was the best server we’ve ever had, and only added to the experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good beer or a nice place to hang out with some friends.

One of the best places to get your growlers filled and have a pint or sample tray while you wait. Most growlers range from 12 on up to 16. They almost always have a beer by Boneyard or Barley Browns on hand. They always have 30 beers on tap of which 2 tend to be on nitro. Tuesday nights they offer two of their beers for 2 dollar pints. Most pints are 4. You get to build your own taster tray as well instead of get the bar tender picks at most microbrews. They are not open that late though. I think they close at 9. The service is also top notch. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place can get a little crowed at times. I think they also allow dogs inside, but not certain on this rule. Not sure where they other JC got the idea of buy one get one, but they do have a punch card system where buy buy 10 get one for a buck. The 2 dollar pints change every Tuesday as well. Last week I had a decent IPA and they had a Stout as well.

NW Growlers is a pretty decent neighborhood bar. The crowd is eclectic and usually includes some of Johns Landing’s finest denizens. The beer list is rather large and diverse, and everyone in our group found at least 1 – 2 beers they really liked. There are various daily specials during the week, like $ 2 Tuesdays. There is free popcorn — self-serve — with a huge jug of butter for your pleasure. Service is friendly. And best of all, you can order delivery from Portland Taco Co. next door, brought right to your table. Considering the other options in the immediate vicinity, this place is fantastic.

We love this new place in the neighborhood. Ever changing taps provide lots of variety. Follow them on Facebook to get the latest tap additions. We go by for a pint and sit at the bar, or fill a growler for later. The owners and their friends who work there are super friendly. You can bring in your own food to eat as well. Bonus: I bought a U of O growler to impress my friends :) Love this place.

So many options, so little time! They have a constant rotation of some of the best beers in the NW, and it’s easy to get sidetracked with great bar conversation. The owners are super friendly, and the patrons are equally as nice. For those who need to switch it up, they usually have cider on tap too. I’m a big fan of Two Towns when it’s available!
