Savannah is a gift. I came to life coaching expecting little pushes in a vaguely positive direction, but what I experienced was — and I say this with full awareness of how it sounds — life changing.
I was floating along morosely in a job I hated, feeling like maybe I had more to offer the world and wondering if there were something else I could or should be doing with my time — and now those questions have very definite, very easy answers. I have no idea how she pulled my deepest fears, hopes, dreams, worries, and passions out of me so efficiently and so painlessly. I’m a very private person and that kind of sharing (ie in a therapy-​type setting) has never worked for me before, but talking to Savannah is like talking to your own shadow: it feels insanely personal, comfortable, and intimate. After a handful of sessions, I could feel my life changing for the better.
I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is amazingly genuine in her deep care for her clients, and the attention she gives is loving, personalized, sweet, and badass when it needs to be. She gave me the most loving (metaphorical) kick in the butt I’ve ever received, and that kick is still ricocheting into my daily life. I now know more about myself, my life, my goals, and my path. I’m happier and healthier. This stuff is basically magic.

Savannah and I have worked together for a few months and the support continues to evolve into what is becoming an amazing partnership. I’ve had a «dark night of the soul» period when I had very little hope, clarity, or inspiration. Savannah has been a North Star in my life correcting limiting beliefs and confusion with insight and clarity. Her devotion to her clients is nothing short of 100%. Individualized attention and continuous feedback has put me back on track to success!

First off, this review is long overdue. It is time that I show my appreciation for this wonderful woman.
Savannah guided me through a very confusing time in my life. She helped me clarify my desires, supported me in my decision making, and taught me tools to help me along the way. I truly appreciate her services because I am succeeding in my endeavors now while happily following my purpose.

About the time my son was 12 months old, I realized that I wasn’t the happy mom I wanted to be. I also wasn’t the happy wife I wanted to be. And I couldn’t put my finger on why that was the case, and I had no clue as to how to go about making the change I knew I so desperately needed.
My husband and I discussed our options, and both determined that couples counseling wasn’t what we needed. For all intents and purposes, our relationship was fine, we just were having some difficulty with making decisions together and working together to make the best life we could have.
We found Savannah, along with a few other options, and after having initial consultations with all of them, we knew that Savannah was the right fit for us.
She understood that we wanted to work together to make our combined life a happy one, but she has also been instrumental in drawing out things that satisfy us as individuals. It’s really been amazing how she has been able to work in service of our family unit while maintaining our individual needs and identities.
I don’t know how she does what she does, but I can tell you that Savannah is warm, caring, inquisitive and able to thoughtfully ask questions and make suggestions. She has told us that ideally, there will come a point when we won’t need/​want to see her on a regular basis, because we will have made the changes we were seeking to make and implementing them. I so enjoy talking to her I am not looking forward to that time, but I very much appreciate that she wants to see her clients make progress and to grow and move on.
If you are looking for a resource to help get support as a couple, or to get guidance on your own life path and to find the courage to make a change, I recommend Savannah without hesitation. And as an added bonus, her office is really easy to get to.

I found Savannah on Unilocal when I realized I needed help climbing out of the deep career rut I was in. In less than three months, I went from years (too many years!) of waffling to a clear, concise career path that included quitting my current job!
Now, I’m not a person to make rash decisions (remember those years of waffling?), but I feel very confident about where I’m heading. Savannah’s coaching helped me examine my life & recognize the clues in my past & present that would help me plan the future of my dreams. She supplied great resources, assigned exercises that led to some «A-​ha moments», and asked thoughtful, probing questions. She provided the accountability I need. So, now I have a detailed short-​term plan. I’ll be seeing Savannah in a few months to keep my momentum. Maybe once the dust settles, we’ll tackle my love life!

I recently found myself in unfamiliar territory. It was 6:30 in the morning, and I could not get out of bed. I realize that this is a daily struggle for many people. And I sympathize. But it is not my struggle. Mornings for me, even pitch black mornings where the sun is not expected to make an appearance for hours are my full-​blown Cinderella experience with birds chirping at the window and friendly mice selecting my outfit and braiding my hair and telling me I look fabulous now go get this day, girlfriend! I don’t linger in bed. Ever. Except recently, I had been doing it more and more often.
I knew somewhere in the back of my mind that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied at work. But I was not willing to face that reality or do anything about it. After all, I had been doing similar work for 20 years. And I am good at it. Incessant organization, task mastery, and levitating innumerable balls in the air simultaneously? Piece. Of. Cake.
Though with each passing day it was becoming less easy and less interesting and less what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.
Enter Nurture Life Coaching.
I first met with Savannah of Nurture Life Coaching in April. I did not know what to expect. Would this be a regularly scheduled whine-​fest where I complained that I did not know what I wanted to do, boo hoo? Would I be signing up for endless weekly sessions where little progress was made? Would I have to learn some entirely new woo-​woo vocabulary about inner light and chosen paths? Not. Even. A. Little.
After a free initial consultation where we each evaluated whether or not we would work well together, we dove right into our work, which included homework and between-​appointment check-​ins and immediate progress. Savannah has a great way of helping you focus your thoughts, summon your drive, and find answers to your own questions. She once told me that she helps people see the answer they already know. She challenged some of my core beliefs about what I do and helped me see that making a change was an exciting opportunity, not an indication of failure after 20 years of doing the same thing. And once I was able to see my situation differently, everything else seemed to fall into place.
This is not a what’s-your-spirit-animal experience. It is hard work. It is evaluative and introspective and difficult. Savannah is an intelligent, focused, and patient professional. She pushes you towards progress each time you meet. She may just change your life.

I am a very self-​aware person, so I expected that Savannah would take me through standard life coaching exercises that I had done before, but might be valuable to do with help.
No. She knew right away to go deeper and guided me so quickly, lovingly and intelligently right to the information that was under my nose.
I am a gifted person who has spent my life teaching and healing others, but I have never even considered giving my own artistic gifts permission to grow.
Today she was totally present with me when I realized the scary, amazing thought of actualizing my purpose. I no longer feel alone in this terrifying plight, and someone believes in me, not in a fake-​cheerleader way, but in totally present and honest reality.
I am amazed by her work and would recommend it wholly to anyone ready to live their truth.

I went to see Savannah when I was at several crossroads in my personal and professional life. I really needed some help pulling it all apart, finding clarity and then making a plan but I was struggling to do it on my own. Also, I did not want to work with a business coach or a therapist, instead I wanted someone who could help me get to my core beliefs and goals that would help me create the life that I want for myself and my family. Once I could identify what I really truly wanted then reaching my goals would be no problem. Savannah helped me sift through my conflicting ideas and lay out a path. I have known Savannah for three years. We met in an advanced training at M.E.T.A. (Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches) for helping professionals. It was truly an honor to come to know Savannah in this capacity. We worked and trained closely together during the two years we studied Hakomi, Mindfulness and other advanced techniques. From the first day we met, I have known Savannah to be bright, insightful, intuitive, earnest, hard-​working and dedicated. However, those attributes all paled in comparison and took second place behind her warm radiance and what I’ve found to be an endless capacity to hold others in an accepting, non-​judgmental, open and loving presence. I am a marriage and family therapist in Portland and refer clients to her on a regular basis when they seek out life coaching or come to a place in our work together where life coaching is more appropriate than therapy. I just started working with Savannah to gain clarity on some decisions as I work on the transition into motherhood and small business turnover. After two coaching sessions, I find Savannah to be both warm and friendly AND candid and intelligent. She has a wonderful combination of professionalism and hospitality, and the way she asks questions is very effective. Savannah is also an active writer whose work appears in local publications, and she offers massage and body work from her studio as well.
Though it is an investment to choose to work with a professional, I think you will find that Savannah is an investment worth every dollar.

I was having a hard time with my two children, and most of all finding my place as a mother and as a woman without always attaching the mother to it. I realized what I was lacking was self love and Savannah helped me on the path to explore the reasons I had such a hard time loving myself. Savannah was able to give me tools and help me look deeper into my issues. She was so comforting and real with me. She gave me so much and helped with my confidence in a way that no doctor has ever been able to. I will always have tools to look back on as she is great about taking notes and giving «homework» for future sessions.
