One of the best airport meals I’ve had. It would get 5 stars even if not in an airport! For $ 8 you get an 11 inch pizza with any and all the toppings you want, including extra cheese or whatever you want. And it’s delicious! High quality ingredients. And fast! Had my pizza in like 5 minutes.

Returned with my card and got what I expected. A decent pie at a decent price. Not a wow, but a good value!

Ive probably spent over $ 45 dollars in the past 2 weeks at MOD. Its been consistently good. Except for today; today the gentelman making my pizza just kept asking me «any thing eles» and he kept repeating himself. However he was not adding what i wanted for toppings. He would put a very small amount of a topping, and i had to repeatedly ask him for more 3 or 4 times and he still didnt put even a normal amount. Mod says as much as you want of any toppi g same price. So whats up? Why was this employee being so stingey with the toppings. I think i’ll try another place for lunch. Come back to MOD at a later date, see if they get back to doing what they do good, pizza with unlimited toppings

Great pizza. HOWEVER… their slogan is any ingredients — same price. Well, it seems like every time I come here they are putting less and less ingredients on. I had to ask 3 times for more cheese to have a normal amount. Their idea of «extra bacon» was less than a normal portion for any other pizza chain. For management: it defeats your whole business model of even after you ask for extra ingredients you end up with a very humble pie. I work at the airport and spend a lot of money at this place. Probably time to find a different place or pack a lunch everyday. 1 star until changes are made at this location and I don’t have to beg to get a decent pizza.

The person who made the pizza didn’t ask me what toppings I wanted on the pizza and put it right away on the counter behind him. When I asked for more toppings, another employee lectured him that he should communicate with employees. They were also missing forks, which makes it hard to eat salad. One of the staff went to get forks from«downstairs”(?). It was busy at the time I went. Yes, I modded mine with a bit of caesar dressing, to simulate garlic dip for pizza crust. It was good. I love the any topping Subway-style, but I wish I was mentally more prepared to ask for more toppings and more of the topppings I *really* like. I also wish they had larger pizza sizes… it’s not at all clear what the mega pizza is(thick crust pizza?).

Delicious, cheap($ 7.47 for pizza, $ 3.27 for a shake), and very fast with lots of topping choices to make your own custom pizza. I’d be very happy with this even outside an airport.

Super good pizza! It doesn’t look filling but it definitely is. I had the #7, added chicken, and it was SO good! They also have Portland beer on tap which is always amazing! I recommend the Deschutes IPA.

The customer service is 5 stars, but for me, the Breakfast pizza fell short. Captive audiences be damned, the Portland airport has a plethora of eating options — and after wandering up and down terminal C I decided, from a picture of the pizza on a poster, that I’d give it a go. I felt like the toppings were scarce in quantity and the crust much too crispy to hold up to eggs. I suppose if I was building my own and not ordering a menu item I could have indicated more of the toppings, but I thought it’d be good to go the way it was designed — sadly no. Next time I’m walking down the(new) PDX carpet, I’ll choose another option.

Best quick service airport experience I’ve ever had. By now you’ve probably had your share of build your own pizza joints. For about $ 8, you get your own fresh, and made to order pie. However what really set MOD apart was their attitude. The guys behind the counter were the most patient and helpful when I was loading on the ingredients, even making helpful suggestions to optimize my pie. Needless to say, I left PDX full, happy and even with half a pie leftover to tide me over on the flight. If in PDX, go find MOD Pizza if the food carts aren’t open

I was stuck eating at the airport because of timing issues and not wanting to miss my flight. Man was I stoked to find this place. It was my first time so I asked«how does it work?» They exclaimed«It’s like Subway, but for pizza!». That is exactly wat it was. I could pick from tons of topping and add as many as I wanted and they piled them on and then perfectly cooked my creation. What really blew me away was how fast it was. It took me a minute or two to pick out my toppings but less than 5 minutes later I had a piping hot and delicious pizza creation that was exactly what I wanted. They even had local draft beer on tap! Ok for my creation(to give you an idea of the different toppings you could choose from); I started with a light layer of tomato sauce, then Mooozerella, Italian sausage, spicy Italian sausage, meatballs, red onion, roasted garlic, roasted Brussels sprouts, some Parmesan and Asiago cheeses sprinkled over the top. After less than 5 minutes they were calling my name and I opted to have some pesto drizzled over the top to complete my masterpiece. I started eating and was half way done with my pie by the time my wife’s Bahn Mi from next door was finally done, and that was just a simple sandwich! This place is the best idea for airport food, super fast and fresh. The price for the pie was only $ 7.47 and I’m told by some friends, that’s the same price as outside of the airport! You can even take it to go if you don’t mind taunting all the folks next to you on your flight, haha!

Stopped in last week on my way out of town. The two guys working we’re friendly, despite it being 5am. They were a little slow but ensured I had the right amount of all my toppings and made me a delicious pizza, exactly the way I asked. Thanks for giving me fuel for my flight guys! Delicious and perfectly cooked.

3 F’s: FAST, FRESH&FREAKINGGOOD!!! Located between Gate C8 and C6. In front of Starbucks. Build your own pizza– add your favorite toppings and cheeses and sauces etc. Fire oven bakes it THINANDCRISPY! If you like GARLIC like me ask for the garlic rub along with your red or white sauce its sooo good! The passengers on your plane might get hungry though on your flight lol. Takes less than 5 minutes and its hot and tasty. Definitely worth the $ 8 PS. They have beer on draft! The folks working there are happy and nice definitely a good time.

I wish all airports had options as good as this. If you’ve ever been to a MOD Pizza, this is just like all the others. They have a number of pre-designed pizzas — but you also have the option to go crazy. I always opt for the latter of those choices. The«MOD» size of pizza is enough to feed me and is a bit too much for my girlfriend. You choose sauce(red, white, pesto, bbq, garlic), then meat(if that’s your thing), and then veggies. It always throws me off that my beloved sun dried tomatoes are next to the sauces, before the meats, and way before the veggies. They have a large topping selection, from artichokes, to garbanzo beans, to everything in between. Toppings have always seemed fresh, though to be fair it’s hard to tell after it’s been in the oven. For under $ 10, you can get an awesome pizza made exactly to your specifications in under 10 minutes. They even give it to you in a carry on friendly box. Fantastic place to grab a meal before your flight.

I always hit a MOD Pizza when I have a chance. Just so happened I had a 90 minute layover at PDX and there is a MOD. No line so had to. I got the Mad Dog with roasted garlic. Also tried a cup of their IPA. I forget what it was called. The pizza was perfect. Would recommend.

This MOD is located inside the PDX airport. Arriving at the airport early in the A.M. I was worried my food options would be limited to a coffee shop with a long line. My flight was 4 hours without food service so I wanted to eat something substantial. I was pleased to find MOD Pizza was open and was greeted with smiling faces. I ordered the Mini Maddy(small cheese pizza and only 300 calories) with some jalapenos and an iced tea. Upon paying I realized despite they are in the airport the prices are the same as the store front! On top of that they serve local beer and some wine on tap for just under $ 5! Super reasonable prices, fast friendly service and pies fired up to order.

Mod Pizzas are always awesome. I was hoping that the airport wouldn’t destroy the experience and I was glad that it didn’t. This particular Mod Pizzas is wedged in a food court near the Alaska Airlines terminal. While located in an airport, this Mod is decorated similarly to any other Mod… Urban, cool and a little bit goofy. The pizza is good and fast like any other Mod. I also like that there is ample seating in the food court area, so you can take your pizza and take a little breather between flights if you have the time. The only thing missing from this particular location is the fresh lemonade and iced teas. Otherwise, I appreciated having delicious to nosh on during a long day of travel. Pros: –Delicious Food –GF options available Cons: –Fresh lemonade/iced teas not available Tips: –Ask for ranch if you want it

This is surprising to me because I enjoy the MOD pizza location in Beaverton. This review is no reflection on the staff at all. They did their jobs right. It was the breakfast pizza that was lacking. Being at an airport, most dining places tend to have either abbreviated or sometimes menu items that you wouldn’t get in a normal location. MOD is no different in that they offer breakfast pizzas. I thought, why not? I enjoy their food. They offer two pizzas, either the Orville or the Wilbur. One has bacon the other is vegetarian. I went with bacon. The pizza had cheese, eggs, bacon, tomatoes and onion. I added mushrooms and banana peppers. This should be simple and tasty, correct? Not really. The premise is great but the pizza had ZERO taste whatsoever. Even with seasonings it didn’t help much. It was just plain blah and that tarnished them a bit in my eyes. I’ll stick with their regular fare from now on, unless they can tweek the breakfast idea.

Excellent pizza! In the top 3 best places to eat in PDX airport. The prices are fixed by size and you choose whatever toppings you want or pick from predefined menu options which you can also MOD. The oven is super hot so the pizza cooks up in just a few minutes. The thin pizza crust is crispy with some nice charred edges and satisfyingly chewy. The mozzarella is stringy and stretchy like a proper pizza cheese should be.

I browsed around the airport in my area for a good place to eat. Everything just seemed okay until I ran into this place. Seems like it just opened and I can never say no to pizza. I know they just opened this place back in California and it is similar to Blaze and Pieology. This place is actually pretty good. I love how there are already customized pizzas already there for you to choose from or you can customize your own with as many/or little toppings as you’d like with no extra charge. You choose the size of your pizza: mini($ 4.47) mod($ 7.47) mega($ 10.47) There is also a salad option too which is $ 9.478. Anyways, I chose the mod pizza and got all the toppings that I wanted. There weren’t that many people in line when I got there but while I was waiting for my pizza to be cooked, the line got quite long. There were people at one end of the register ordering and there were some other people at the other end of the register ordering. I got kind of confused because the one guy that was ringing people was also suppose to be in charge of boxing up the pizzas. He was a little slow and I had to wait for my pizza for awhile. The pizza’s don’t take that long to cook but the service was a little slow since the guy was attending to the register and not calling out names. Other than that, the pizza tasted great so I would for sure come back here if I came to Portland again :)
