I LOVETHISPLACE! My coworkers and I work in the mall and eat here about 3 times a week. All their food is amazing. The customer service is even better. I will say go there with time, the fresh make their fries so they can take a few. As well as their rice. I highly recommend this place. So very good!

Great portions, great food, and great service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that serve large portions of good food. The dolmas, falafels, pita, hummus, and spinach turnovers are all delicious!(And vegan)

While it was nice to see Mediterranean on the food court menu, I realized that any hopes I had of Medi Grill breaking the norm of mall food. The chicken gyro left my stomach aching menacingly all night. I write this from the toilet — wish me luck.

I tried this place, then went back the next day, and on that time i got a chicken gyro, but i couldn’t finish it because the chicken was so garlicy that it actually made me sick. I love a good falafal and hummus but i wont be returning for anything Mediterranean.

the food is healthy and very tasty. The only complaint I have is that it is expensive, even for mall food. I love hummus, and I have to say their hummus is very creamy, no grittiness at all which is weird. I will be back, but definitely a bit spendy for mall food.

Lloyd Center Food Court — 3rd Floor I kept it very simple here… all I had was one of their regular Beef/Lamb Gyros: where all the usual components were present… You know Greek spiced meat, lettuce, tomato, and Tzaziki Sauce, but they put way too much sauce on it… the sad part is that despite drowning in the sauce the whole thing lacked any sort of flavor AND the sandwich was just warm. I wish it were hot as that would have helped a little bit. While I won’t necessarily add this place to the«Black List» it will be a long time before I actually return! Service by the guy working on this day was very kind and warm, but unfortunately it was just not enough to negate the lack of flavor and proper temperature. There is plenty of seating since this place is located in a Food Court.

I got a craving for a gyro. Medi Grill was the only option within walking distance of my hotel, and it had good reviews so it seemed like a good fit. I ordered the gyro combo with fries. The fries were slices. They were crispy and good. My disappointment was with the gyro its self. I personally prefer the meat cut thick. It is cut quite thin at Medi. That combined with what I believe was an overall shortage of meat was where the gyro fell short. The flavor was just OK. It was kind of bland. The sauce also seemed a little flat. Given the other options in the food court this is probably still one of your best choices.

Tzatziki sauce was superior, fries average, falafel dry. I also had severe indigestion from something here(and I am not particularly susceptible). Lastly, I thought it was about 30% overpriced for the amount of food you get(typical mall).

I like Medi Grill, but they didn’t have hot cocoa. We ordered lunch, then I have to go to the restaurant by the arcades, and that was VERYHOTCOCOA. It took 4 hours to cool down. I had them add milk, & left the lid on my container opened to let the steam out, and it was so hot — still! But I’m reviewing Medi Grill not them. So here goes. .. . I had a small amount of cucumber salad, with the dressing I asked for. The rest was filled up with half rice and two chicken kabob with about 2 slices(each stick) of green pepper. See photo. The rice was dry and tasteless. Gyro restaurant, who used to lease there but suddenly replaced by Medi Grill, was tastier and tasted more of saffron flavor, but the rice we had was blah. .. could it be leftover from last night’s rice heated up? Next time I feel like having lunch @ the Lloyd Center Food Court, I’ll probably eat junk food than eat there again. Depends what I’m craving for @ that time.

I was shopping in the Lloyd Center and found the Unilocal reviews for this place pretty enticing. Lucky me, to be able to get great Mediterranean food at a mall food court. I ordered a gyro pita to go for lunch and watched them assemble it right in front of my eyes. What I liked was that the pita bread was thick and warm, it was piled high with gyro meat and they were generous with the tzatziki sauce. Even my picky one-year old ate his entire portion of gyro meat I set aside for him, which never happens. Yummy, yummy, yummy.

I don’t understand these awesome reviews! I work in the mall and this place is so hit or miss it isn’t funny. When it’s good its amazing, when it’s not it’s horrible, dried out pita, dry lamb. And the service is sketchy. The owner is the nicest man ever, the manager is the biggest jerk. I ordered a gyro without the pita and he charged me more for it. Said it was then considered a salad, therefor I paid $ 9!!! I won’t go there if he is working. When the others are working everything is perfect!

This family-owned food court restaurant isn’t the best Mediterranean food that I’ve ever had but is pretty solid for mall food. Don’t be afraid to order a combination that’s not on the menu — they’ll work with you. I typically order my gyros over rice instead of getting it wrapped in a pita. My friend orders the gyros over a plate of greek salad — strange but it works. They will typically charge you around $ 10 for the custom order. The chicken kabobs with creamy garlic sauce and beef & lamb gyros(plain) are the best things on the menu. I like their Greek salad as well. The only thing that I’m not a big fan of is their meatball platter. All-in-all, I have to compare this place to the immediate competition, and this is my favorite restaurant in the Lloyd Center food court — thus the four star rating.

Since I returned from Limeyland I’ve found the one thing Portland is really missing is a decent kabob. I’ve found it. The lamb is roasting on the big old rotisserie and shaved off to order. The grilled chicken Shish kabob was as good as I ever had in Manchester. Plus, though this isn’t an English thing, the hummous was wonderfully creamy. Oh! And not to forget the excellent chili sauce. This place is a godsend.

I’d been craving a gyro for months and was eager to try this place after reading the reviews. YUM. Definitely the best gyro I’ve ever tasted. Only complaint is I don’t care for the Lloyd Center in general, but I will return just for the amazing gyros.

I have gone to the mall at least 5 times just to eat Medi Grill. Their falafel is amazing and the chicken kabob’s are just right. Aside from the great food you can stare at people learning to ice skate while you eat! I often find myself staring at the Hot Dog On A Stick kids too… Poor Hot Dog On A Stick Kids.

Sometimes I dream about the garlic sauce drenced, perfectly seasoned Chicken shwarma sandwich… Every single time I eat I am in heaven so tasty and so cheap($ 5 for a huge sandwich) This is more then food court food this is a reason to go to the mall.

Best mall food court meal of my life! Should I be so excited about a food court meal? Probably not. But I was so dissapointed when I learned that the Indian place I used to go to literally every other day for three weeks every summer(visited my grandparents for three weeks, went skating every other day at the mall) was gone! My second choice, Chick-Fil-A, was also GONE! WTF!!! After picking myself up off the ground out of dispair and sadness, I lifted my head to see Medi Grill. «Well, maybe this won’t be so bad», I thought to myself. Then I slowly walked over and looked at the menu. Vegetarian platter?! Falafe?!? Chicken Schwarama!!! GREEKSALADWITHCHICKENSCHWARAMA?! OMGGGGGGGG! Ordered the Greek Salad with Chicken Schwarama, side of pita bread. Salad was so fresh… large chunks of tomato and cucumber on a bed of fresh lettuce, topped with onion, yogurt dressing(you could pick what you wanted), and freshly made strips of white meat chicken. It was so good, so healthy, and so effing amazing. The pita bread was soft, chewy, and warm. Bread is always a good indication of the rest of the meal. Will be sure to go back on my next visit… and this place kicked the Indian place and Chick-Fil-A’s butts!
