Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had since I’ve moved to PDX. The cart is clean, the service is fast and friendly, and the food!!! I’ve eaten both the«Alambre,» as well as the tacos. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. The«Alambre» can easily feed two people. I will be eating here on a regular basis.

I discovered Los Alambres 2 about a month ago when the weather was a lot like today — a bit cold and wet. I ordered the exact same thing today: chicken flautas. SOOO good. They’re made to order so you get as fresh as can be. Served with fresh avocado, tomatoes, onion on a bed of greens and comes with both verde and rojo sauce. There’s a thick layer of queso fresco combined with the über crunchiness of the flautas — well I’m in Heaven. My mother was full blooded Mexican so there was no absence of Mexican food in my diet growing up and I would swear the chefs at this establishment MUST be related somehow. It’s that good. Their signage and displays are true to the product and for only $ 7 you are pressed to find such outstanding food anywhere that compares. Make sure you get the fresh homemade horchata for a beverage — you won’t be sorry. I’m glad I found both the Merchado on Foster Rd in S.E. Portland and Los Alambres 2. I’ll be back — hungry for more!

Whoa nelly! These tortas are good! At around $ 8 – 10 a piece and a hefty size, it’s a decently priced meal and hot-damn delicious! They’re served relatively quickly and as part of Portland Mercado, it’s a pretty solid environment to eat your lunch. One gripe. They seem to be out of things quite often. I’ve visited twice, and on both visits they were out of my first choice. On my second visit, they were out of my first TWO choices, and the guy at the register was pretty unapologetic about it. A «sorry» would have gone a long way. But, he was a teenager and we all know how those unruly teens are, amiright? Anyhow, that’s not enough of a reason to not visit. Go get you some tortas(or tacos. or burritos) and enjoy!
