Lily-Rygh Glen-Flexible Fitness

I had a fabulous experience working with Lily-​Rygh. Her warm and supportive approach, as well as her fabulous sense of humor, made the whole experience fun. I learned a lot from her and she was careful to individualize her training approach to my needs. I highly recommend her!

I worked with Lily-​Rygh for almost a year, and she got me in the best shape I’ve been in for over a decade! I came to her with «issues,» among which is a ruptured C6-​C7 disc that I had surgery on. So, there were some exercises I needed to stay away from. Lily-​Rygh carefully tailored my workouts around my various restrictions, and I got a core of steel (able to do hundreds of crunches of all torturous varieties), increased my strength (able to carry and lift my sea kayak onto my car), and improved my balance (lots of silly walking was required). BEST of all, I enjoyed Lily-​Rygh. Warm, smart, funny, professional, and thoroughly knowledgeable. It was a truly great experience, and I am able to continue kicking my own ass and cradling my heart!

Lily-​Rygh is an exceptional personal trainer and human being. She is body-​positive, pro-​safety and pro-​fun! I’ve been working out with Lily-​Rygh since the spring of 2015 and since then I can totally feel and see results. I feel stronger, more stable, and I move more confidently all the time, not just at the gym. I like her focus not only on weight lifting — which she is a great coach for — but also on agility and other functional movement. She knows so many exercises and knows so much about the body! I was quite touched when she recently did a bunch of research on plyotechnics for me, and set up a whole plyotechnic routine complete with props in the gym for me, just because I expressed an interest in the kind of training «football players must do to be able to do their explosive moves.» She is also a super interesting person — she’s been in graduate school and been a teacher and a writer and she plays guitar and she just loves science and movies and popular culture and is in general endlessly curious and thoughtful — so we always have tons to talk about. Seeing Lily-​Rygh at the gym has become one of the best parts of my week! Train with Lily-​Rygh! Hi five!

I started working out with Lily-​Rygh in May of 2014. I had never worked out in a gym before so relied completely on her expertise. I love how she changes up my work outs to keep me interested and engaged and she adjusts to whatever is going on with me not only physically but emotionally.
She is hilarious and caring and awesome. She celebrates my success, like upping my wights or reps!, and is supportive though hard times. She is awesome!

Lily-Rygh’s motto of «kick your butt but cradle your heart» is true in everyway. Lily-​Rygh pushes me, but not so far that it leads to injury or resentment. I have had that happen with another trainer. Her clientele is diverse and she likes working with the curvy women. Imagine that! Her body positive approach and focus on safety and technique has helped me achieve my goals. She has integrity and good work ethic. Good luck achieving your fitness goals.

Lily-​Rygh is fabulous at being my personal trainer. We discussed some of my goals at the beginning and continue to check in along the way. I can already see how much stronger I’m getting. It’s my weekly appointment I look forward to! Each week I walk away feeling really good about my commitment to my own personal health and the wonderful support I’ve enlisted to meet my goals. Plus we laugh A LOT, so that always feels great! Lily-​Rygh really does «kick my ass but cradle my heart»!!

Working out with Lily is so refreshing. I enjoy her good humor and she also doesn’t let me get away with anything! I’ve been working out with her for a year and I’ve never felt better!
