Great salon, very relaxing. I went here last weekend for a gel fill and eyebrow wax which was amazing. I love how they remove and reapply gel nails, super speedy and pain free, I think that the gentleman’s name is Mike. The lady who waxes is amazing and recommended a lip wax, which I needed. I’m now getting my 1^st pedicure and I LOVE the massage chairs. Best of all, they serve wine :).

I understand that in the beauty industry appointments can run late. I called around 1 pm, made an appointment for 5:30 pm same day even though this salon is on my walk home and I could have just popped in, I thought it would be a better idea to reserve myself a spot. I sat there waiting for 25 minutes as they try to get me to fill my time with picking out my color and telling me someone will be «right with me.»
I then felt that my shellac manicure was rushed and every place I’ve ever gone to for to for a shellac manicure has put at least 2 coats of the final top coat on… here it’s one and only one round of time in the dryer. I felt like she was just trying to rush me out because they had again double booked people after me as well… if you’re going to make me waste 25 minutes of my time, at least give me a good manicure!
Just some advice: don’t be greedy and take walk-​ins when other clients take the time to book appointments with you. I won’t be coming back. There is too much competition out there to not be considerate of your clients’ time.

Wandering, exhausted and in need of some relaxation on a Friday night, I asked a colleague where I could get a pedicure in the area. She recommended me to Lavande and it was exactly what I needed! It wasn’t too crowded because it was near closing time, and they had classical music playing, so I sat in bliss while enjoying my pedicure. The only things that I didn’t love were the massage chairs that were a bit sporadic and the price. It was what I would normally pay for both a manicure and a pedicure. But, it was just what I needed, so worth it to me!

I love this place. The people are so nice, and they do a great job. I go every couple of weeks and have never had a bad experience. And bonus… you can get a glass of wine to enjoy during your services.

I have been here a few times and while I have enjoyed the environment, my manicures have turned out sloppy. The last time I went, the shellac was painted onto my cuticles and it started to come off after a day! Such a bummer.

Friendly, clean, and super attentive! Came here with 3 of my girlfriends with an appointment made the day before, and as soon as we arrived only waited for 5 more mins before getting seated. Greeted with a beverage and sat down. The overall experience was very pleasant, and it lasted a while! They take their time doing pedicures & I felt relaxed.
They had an AC issue in the summer, but it is fixed now and the place is still comfortable!

This place is really great. The service is very good, they accept walk ins and were very friendly. I had a pedicure at $ 30 and it was well worth it. They scrubbed, exfoliated and gave me a long leg and foot massage, which I enjoyed thoroughly. Also offered me wine and water as a refreshment which is definitely above the average salon. Would highly recommend!

I’ve had excellent service here every time I’ve come! I’ve had shellac manicures and pedicures, and every time the techs make sure it is flawless. Quick, but you never feel rushed or that you had a bad service. Also decently priced, especially for being in the Pearl.

I went with my best friend and my mum the day before my brother’s wedding. All three of us got gel mani/​pedis. This place is AMAZING. First of all, the quality of the manicures and pedicures is great. They really hold up, the technicians are gentle, and the leg massages are sooo good.
The place is really clean and well decorated. They have a great selection of colors. But perhaps most importantly, the staff is really friendly. They carry on conversations with you, are so helpful if you have questions about Portland (we were from out of town), and are hilarious! If I lived in Portland (someday!!) this would be my go to salon. The prices are worth it because the service is excellent.
My mum also had her eyebrows waxed and dyed (!) and they looked so good I had mine done as well. As someone with fair, barely noticeable eyebrows, it made a huge difference.
Definitely go to Lavande!

Meh, just okay.
Pros: the salon is clean with updated equipment. They accept walk-​ins, are friendly, and serve you wine and other drinks while you are being pampered.
Cons: Somewhat pricey — $ 30 for a pedicure, when other places in the area charge $ 20. The guy who did my pedicure also barely scrubbed my feet /​removed calIuses (gross/​TMI, but I run a lot!) and his foot massage was weak sauce.
Overall, not a bad place, but I am going to keep looking for a go-​to place to get my pedicures in the neighborhood.

It’s always hard to find a good nail spa when traveling. Coming from doing hair myself and knowing the down and dirty about cleanliness of nail salons, I’m always nervous about searching for one on Unilocal without a human referral.
They were great! Super clean, friendly, and professional. It honestly might be one of the best nail services I’ve had. Period. My pedicure massage lasted 10minutes and I didn’t feel rushed. Tiffany who did my gel mani was very nice and talkative and the mani itself was perfect. The chair actually felt good too and not like I was on a roller coaster! If I lived in town this would be my spot. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome! Highly recommend it! I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure. I felt like a princess! They did such a great job!

I got a really fantastic pedi here. they went above and beyond and took their time. also, so i could get going to another appointment and my toes were still slightly wet, they wrapped my toes in a bit of saran wrap, a trick i’ve never experienced before! i was impressed.

Beautiful shellac mani! Mya was so careful and precise. This is probably the best polish job I’ve ever had. I also had a non-​shellac pedicure and it looks great as well.
This will be my go-​to salon from now on!

Super nice folks, excellent shellac mani/​pedis that hold well and don’t chip or flake. The pedicures are AMAZING. I’m sorry that I’m moving away from the area. I’m going to continue to come back into town just to get my nails done. I love this place.

I have been going here since they opened. I find that – unlike other nail salons in the neighborhood – they do an excellent job of honoring appointments. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointment time here. Not to mention I have never had a poorly executed manicure or pedicure. Mike usually does my nails. Not only does he do a stellar job, but he’s super friendly. A shellac manicure is $ 25. The pedicure chairs are super comfy and move far enough back to accommodate my freakishly long legs. Overall a convenient, professional nail salon right down the block from my house.

Wow! What a great place. I always want two types of nail salons at the ready. One that is quick, cheap, and easy and gives me a halfway decent manicure. And one that is luxurious, relaxing, and leaves me with a perfect manicure. This place is the latter. I was in here for more than an hour today! My manicurist was so meticulous and detail oriented. She wasn’t satisfied with 2 coats of polish because the color wasn’t distributed well/​dark enough, so she went ahead and did a 3^rd coat. Who the hell does 3 coats without you asking??? Amazing. She cut my cuticles twice and thoroughly checked each nail after filing, buffing, and painting. The salon is also very clean with comfy chairs and nice low lighting which was very relaxing. They also had very nice music playing in the background. Such a great experience. $ 25 to get my previous shellac taken off and redone. Not too shabby. Oh and they have A LOT of colors to choose from.

Walked in and was able to been seen right away.
The technicians did a great job and the price was not too bad. $ 45 for a mani/​pedi with French on my toes. I was offered a beverage which was a nice touch.

Fabulous! My nail technician, How, was careful, friendly and funny! And it’s not just the complimentary wine talking! He listened to what I wanted and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Many nail salons I have been to pretend to listen and just hack my nails off while I suffer and can’t wait to get outta that chair. This place was a breath of fresh air! My feet look and feel amazing, and my pocketbook isn’t hurting too bad either at $ 30 for a GOOD, relaxing pedi.
They have a shellac-​pedi combo deal, but I work with my hands too much so I just went with the pedi. Salt scrub and mud mask did the trick for me! I’ll be back.
