One of my favorite places in Portland. Great and healthy juices, acai bowls, and smoothies. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried there and the people who work there are extremely nice and friendly!

I love these smoothies! My favorite is the Little Wing. They’re pretty expensive but you get what you pay for! Delicious, nutritious, and leave you feeling amazing.

This place happened to be close to my AirBnB on Hawthorne and I didn’t plan on going here given the amazing choices for breakfast & brunch in Portland. When in a hurry one morning, I decided to stop on by and was hooked. The acai bowls are bad ass and the smoothies and juices are insanely good and refreshing. Try the«Lush Life» smoothie or the«Dr. Thrive» organic juice… you can’t go wrong.

Okay I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about this place so I decided now is the time to go since I might not be in this neighborhood anymore sometime soon. I had the Protein shake/Eisenhart with vanilla flavor and some added strawberries and it was the bomb! It’s kind of pricy but I guess since it contains all these ingredients that might cost a lot more should you go and buy the ingredients yourself, not to mention you have to combine all these too, but anyway, it is really worth it. I will definitely go back and try the bowl of the gods next time.

I really like coming here on my lunch. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive to eat/drink healthy. But the stuff is delicious.

Great smoothies and fresh juices. Can get pretty busy on warm days but totally worth it! They have a juice for everybody. Whenever I’m over on Hawthorne I try to make it over to KURE!

This is my all time favorite juice bar! I’ve tried to make my own smoothies at home but nothing compares. Cant go wrong with any of their juice/smoothies. They also have awesome acai bowls if you’re hungry. A little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it. Extra friendly service. It’s a small location, street parking only.

Kure serves excellent juices, smoothies, acai bowls and oatmeal from a cart with a covered seating area to the side. Sometimes the juices made on the spot(they also sell pre-bottled cold-pressed juices) aren’t quite as chilled as I’d like, but they are always delicious anyway. There is a huge list of options to choose from. While I can’t make it a habit to go here too often because of the prices, I’ll keep coming back.

Delicious expensive holy juice! It’s hard to recreate their concoctions even though they list everything they put into their smoothies. The smoothies are packed with at least 8 ingredients each! My favorite is the extra mile! Coconut almond deliciousness! The acai bowls are also most delicious in the summer time. Got to figure out a way to get the bowl home before it all melts to mush! Bowl of the gods has peanut butter in it but it’s delicious and not heavy as peanut butter usually suggests. The sunny side bowl is also delicious. I’d rather pay then to buy all the ingredients to recreate what they know how to do so well!

Environment– open and inviting at the same time. One of those quick food snack, post work out food or a hangout place. Service– great service, smoothie/bowls came out on time with not much wait. Depending on when you go, it could get a little busy Food– had their smoothies… Very delicious. And a must try bowl of goods!

I love their smoothies. Unique blends never have me bored. Little Wing is my fave. Also, the branding and store design are great across the board. I agree with some of the other reviewers in pointing out the high prices. I wish I could enjoy a healthy smoothie from here every morning but there’s no way I could afford it. I can only«treat myself» to one a week at most. The service at the Hawthorne cart is hit or miss. Downtown location service is always great.

Kure will kure what ails you. I came here after seeing them on Day of Gluttony and ordered a Portland Pharmacy, which was perfect after struggling with a sore throat and congestion the last few days. Adding cayenne to the juice is a great addition and did not make smoke come out of my ears, but rather warms the body on a chilly December afternoon and will hopefully kill the little nasty germs in my throat. The Utopian cocoa is rich and sweet; I love the earthy maca and hint of mesquite. Here I wish there was more cayenne and less sweetener, but I think most people will love it. Our drinks were quickly served and well done. Minus one star for what I feel is a lack of options for fresh pressed juices.

Loved this place until I noticed money missing from my account and in my savings account and just found out Kure charged me when I haven’t been to Kure in weeks! Then I got a fee for that happening! Funny how a little smoothie business thinks they can do that. Just spreading the word. If you buy things from Kure with a card, check your statements and make sure they aren’t taking your money. Done with Kure. Oh and just to further inform– Kure tried to get me involved in legal issues for simply informing people of that happening. And my comment will be removed because Kure only wants the Kure lovers to review. That’s fine, hopefully some people were informed.

Was looking for some pressed juice nearby and found the Kure. I tried the greens #4 which was very nice and came back the next day to try a smoothie. The Queen Green is a smoothie version of the cold pressed juice. It was very refreshing and just what I was looking for. On Hawthorne with some picnic tables outside and street parking. We biked over and just rested our bikes up against the fence. Friendly service.

I’m in love! Exactly what I needed after a hot day of hiking. Screw the big chain juice shops, come here and you’ll get amazingly tasty drinks and bowls. I got overzealous(as usual) so I got the Bowl of the Gods and Double Rainbow. I loved the bowl with its goji berries and smoothie at the bottom. It filled me up and I felt incredibly satisfied and healthy(the alternative was stuffing my face with junk food after the hike but this was a greater idea). My mouth is seriously watering thinking about the smoothies right now. Try it, there will be absolutely no regret unless you didn’t try it at all.

Loved their Chai Tea with hemp milk, in fact, I dream about their Chai Tea with hemp milk. I know they have other drinks, but I think I’ve found my soulmate. Great people working the bar, love supporting small local business! Try it, you’ll like it!

I am so addicted to Kure. I wish there were one closer to work. But there is not. Everything is fresh and dairy free. No cheap fillers of any kind. I think I have tried about everything on the menu and my favorites are… –the Extra Mile –the Eisenhart –the Queen Green –little wing –lady of the day Pricey but worth it.

Peanut butter and awesome smoothie. I tried making my review that short, because that’s really all anyone needs to know. Sure, there are other flavors on the menu, and PB&A isn’t, but that’s the cool part. They have secret items! I’m sure you could make your own if you were the creative type, they have a pretty extensive list of fresh ingredients to choose from, but the staff behind the counter are probably the best to ask about that kind of thing. This isn’t exactly a store — it’s a permanent food truck, basically, that’s been converted to be more useable and stable. There’s a small covered outdoor seating area, and two places to place your order. It’ll take a minute to make, and they’ll call to you like they’re you’re best friend once it’s done(and who has friends that cool? I wish I did). About as pricey as you’d expect for this stuff, but very approachable and ‘fun’ because of the walk-up nature of things. Street parking around the corner seemed easy enough, as well, so make the stop.

My ongoing addiction. :) I love their Bowl of the Gods! My kids and husband introduced me to this place before.(They go to the one in downtown usually after they workout) I hardly ever have to wait in line there. The Hawthorne branch is perfect for me!

One would think, that with all the health craze fads in LA, we would have better juice bars. Alas, I have not yet found one as good as Kure in Portland. That said, I’ve only been to this stand once, and I ordered one thing: The Extra Mile. It is as a concoction comprised largely of coconut(yogurt, meat, water) in various forms, as well as almond butter, honey, and kale. So refreshing, nutty, and delicious. If only I could’ve come back to try the famed Bowl of the Gods and all the other drinks they have to offer. Prices are not cheap, but for the quality of the drink, it is a worthwhile treat. Parking is easy in the neighborhood streets.

Kure Juice Bar is the light of my life. Ever since moving away from Portland, it’s one of the things I miss the most. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu, but Lush Life is my absolute favorite. It tends to be a little pricey($ 7 for a 16oz smoothie) but you’re paying for high quality, healthy ingredients. They know just what to blend together to make eating healthy a joy. Street parking is limited at this location but I would walk blocks for their juice! I LOVE the beautiful outdoor seating and fire pit. I actually met a few hilarious guys in line that encouraged me to take my first wheatgrass shot! Overall, the product is delectable & the location is friendly & intimate. Will return whenever I can!

I finally made it out to the hidden gem! Friendly & fast service. It’s a cute little food cart with a coveted patio. I don’t recommend coming in giant group because space is tight. I had the Dr. Thrive… SOGOOD. I also had the Bowl of the Gods… SOGOOD, again! It’s a healthy meal & fills you up. Reasonably priced in my opinion. I will be returning.

This was one of our last stops in Portland and it was much needed. I was in need of a detox so I ordered a green eliminator. I didn’t taste the cucumber, I just tasted celery with a strong parsley after taste. Personally I was not a fan. However, my fiancé ordered Dr. Thrive and it was green but you could taste the fruit. I enjoyed this one and it tasted very healthy.

We love this Kure! All Kure Juices are AWESOME! However, this one is our favorite because parking is easy to find and when its a sunny day you can get sun kissed sitting on the porch. :) My favorite thing to order there is the Honey Bee Bowl and the pre-made ice coffee(That shizzzz is strong!) They have a ton of unique and tasty options so everyone should def. check out one of their establishments!!! :)

Kure is one of the juice bars that had been on my bookmark list. After working out at the gym, I was craving fresh juice and wanted the instant gratification – not having to run to the store to get ingredients then dig out my juicer. Parking east of Hawthorne is always pretty easy to find. There were only a couple people in line in front of me. There were so many options that I had difficulties deciding. I ended up getting the Gateway Blend and the Hansel. My Gateway Blend was produced very quick and it was so satisfying! The combination of the apple and lemon provided a tartness in contrast to the sweetness of the beet and carrot followed by this spicy aftertaste of ginger. I hate ginger but it complimented the blend nicely. I love oatmeal when someone else makes it – the oatmeal had the right consistency which I can’t seem to achieve. My only gripe is that there wasn’t any berries in it but that was my fault, I meant to order the Hot Mess but said the Hansel instead, oh well… Service was friendly and so many menu items. I’ll have to keep returning to try other concoctions and those Acai Bowls look ridiculous, ridiculously good that is.

THe juice is out of this world. I’ve only tried mine(Perfect Pear) and some of my friend’s(Portland Pharmacy) but they were amazing, I can’t wait to go back and try their acai bowl and their smoothies. I didn’t know what I expected exactly, but it exceeded my expectations. IT was HEAVENIN A GLASS. I’m drooling, just thinking about it now. They do something different than other juicing companies do. THe only downside is that it is spendy, about $ 7/glass, but it’s worth it!

As usual I am traveling for work and wanted something fresh, healthy, and quick. After searching for something that fit my criteria I came across Kure Juice Bar. There are many juices and smoothies to choose from… I asked for a recommendation and was so happy with the juice choice! Kale, apples, ginger among other goodies. I also got the acai bowl(the honey one) it was really good with the fruit and granola however the base was super cold, almost like a thick slushy… it was a bit of a cold day and I thought it was going to be warm, I may have read the description wrong. There is also a super cute little garden/patio area to enjoy your drinks and food! Will definitely come back the next time I am in town.

I don’t feel like I can fully give Kure a review until I’ve had their juice or a smoothie, but they were the first place that came to mind when I was needing some oatmeal. There are 2 different kinds of oatmeal that they have. I got the Hansel which was had gogi berries, apples, cinnamon, bananas, Vega protein powder, chopped hazelnuts, and bobs red mill oats. I started my asking if the oats were gluten free. The girl said that they were made in a place that had gluten but that they didn’t come in contact with gluten or something? I was so confused by the end(after asking straight up «sooo… Are they gluten free or not» twice and never getting a straight yes or no) that I ended up just saying screw it and got it anyway. I wish they would give a direct answer on this one. So then after getting my oatmeal, I counted 4 gogi berries. It looked kind of sad to be honest hahah. It got very redundant after a while and I had to stop and eat it later because it was a little much. Very heavy with the protein, and I think I’d opt for more fruit next time, so maybe I’ll get the other option. Like I said, I want to go here for something other than the oatmeal, so I can’t review it fully until then!
