I’ve heard people rant and rave about this place’s chicken curry, so I decided to stop in and check it out one day. The place is run by a Fijian family, who are all very nice and social, but the place is very dated and kind of grungy. But I sucked it up and tried their food anyways. The chicken curry was fresh and not too shabby. Very flavorful and reasonably priced. It’s just a rough location and it shows. They have a couple of tables where you can sit and eat, but I chose to take mine to go. Something about eating while surrounded by pipes, bongs, and the forever-flow of 82nd Ave crackheads didn’t fit in my meal plans for the night. But they do fill growlers!
