Move It Or Lose It Inc

Oh how I wish there was an option for zero stars!
I called two weeks ahead of my move date to give them the address and to coordinate a time and date. The guy hung up on me before I could give him the address. So I called him back and politely excused the error by saying we got disconnected and that he needed the unloading address. I asked him if I needed to call and confirm the next day or anything like that to which they replied that I did not…
False. Let’s cut to move day when after the arranged time the movers are no where to be found. So I call, they dont have my appointment on their calendar and end up showing up an hour later.
They rushed the unloading — i had them for a minimum of three hours. They were running up and down the stairs with boxes and made no effort to gently set them down. I peeked my head out and saw that a rubbermaid bin was upside down and spilling out so I said «Guys. what happened?» to which they replied «it exploded.»
False. It did not explode they carried it upside down and when it opened took no accountability. They finished in 35 minutes and seemed bothered that I asked them to help me arrange boxes inside my space.
I do not recommend them.

I will never use these guys again and I warn anyone else using them. They were well over 1.5 hours late. Then it was three guys with a dolly — I was charged top rates for a 3 guys I could have picked up at any Home Depot (actually those guys may have been better!). They did not cover their shoes or have the proper materials to cover my carpet. They stained my carpet, they ruined some of my furniture and they broke stuff. This after I confirmed that they would have all the proper move-​in materials and equipment. Basically all Move it or Lose It did was hire 3 guys that I could have hired — and then had them show up hours late. To make matters worse, I was assured I would only be charged for the time they were there — 2 hours. Nope. All of a sudden there was a 3 hour minimum! Yet, when I told the guys they were staying for the full 3 hours, they all had to leave for another job!!! One them had to get to his job at Rite Aid?! Well, how can you commit to a 3 hour job knowing in advance you can’t stay the full 3 hours!!! I was just livid. Just the worst. I learned my lesson — only use people you know and have a solid referral.

Bryan, Kenny & Curtis were amazing! For anyone looking for a moving crew I would highly recommend this company. Bryan and his team were respectful to me and all of my stuff. They were diligent about protecting furniture with moving blankets and ensuring all of my stuff was moved safely to the new place.
Although it was a very long day to get moved, it was a great experience and (heaven forbid) if I ever move again I will give them a call!
