Good pizza good bread sticks and wine who could ask for more? The pizza was thin crust and well topped. Tangy sauce and fresh toppings. The bread sticks could be made to order and be more tasty but they were good. We walked in and ordered to go but they also deliver even wine! What??? So awesome Also, the building is super cool it’s an old renovated looking brick style and it houses several retail shops and several eateries. I’d return here for pizza again!

We order from here frequently and the pizza is completely fresh and awesome every time. Tonight they got our order wrong, and I don’t even care. Everything they make tastes amazing. I rarely order from anywhere else, and when I do, I’m usually disappointed.(Pizza crust is thin, soft, sweet, and delicious. Sauce is not overly acidic.)

I used to work across the street from here, but I’d usually go to Laughing planet instead on account of it being more filling. HOTLIPS makes pretty good pizza. But it’s a polarizing pie. I’m not sure it neatly fits into the classic pizza labels. It’s more on the thin side of things though. People get really opinionated about it. I liked it mainly because it was generally pretty FAST. You can eat here and not be late for work, a miraculous thing. My favorite pizza was usually whatever is their«special» they’ve got some great veggie options. Their classic pepperoni is better than most. My favorite thing, by FAR, about them was… their habanero sauce. It was actually spicy and severely addictive. What is it about Portland and amazing home made habenero sauces? I can name three off the top of my head that are all amazing: HOTLIPS’s haberno, Laughing Planet’s habnero and, of course, Secret Aardvark! I miss spicy sauce. HOTLIPS pizza makes great doughy surfaces to hose down with that sauce. Take it HOTLIPS. Take it all.

I have a bajillion allergies(ok maybe not that many). Enough allergies that most pizza looks appetizing but never worth any of the side effects. Not only is this pizza I am ingesting gluten, diary, and tomato free somehow, but is absolutely delicious!!! Thank you so much for existing!!!

Giving this place 5 golden stars just because I love pizza and olive trying different places that have pizza. I didn’t intend on buying pizza however when I walked in and saw the display of food, I HAD to walk out with something. I ended up ordering a pepperoni slice but then changed my mind bc it was so huge and I was supposed to have a big dinner later on, however when a fresh batch came out, I changed my mind AGAIN. I love how one of the employees asked twice if I wanted to pass up before giving in lol. The slices are pretty hefty and thick — oh and the freaking breadsticks… Jesus. I got the pesto basil or something breadstick and it was fantastic. I ate the whole thing even tho after the slice I was dying of a full stomach. And the ranch was also very good and tasty. Pretty creamy and you could tell it was authentic and homemade. Definitely gonna come back when I visit Portland again!

This was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I ordered a slice of the Chef’s special and the Tough Mother. Yum!!! I would highly recommend this place. I had a layover from the train station. It was a quick walk over and totally worth it. I’ll be back!

Umm… the guy insisted the ham was good and fresh. Maybe. But I, in all my pizza eating experience, have never been able to smush ham with the slightest of pressure, between my fingers into a nasty, pastelike substance. But in all fairness, I wouldn’t have thought to do that if that consistency wasn’t all over, and in, that first bite I took. My dirt flavored Harry Potter Jelly Belly left a less unpleasant aftertaste. And no… we don’t want a store credit because we will not be ordering from you again. I used to really like your pizza. Your inconsistency is not worth the delivery wait time and aggravation. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the pepperoni looked edible.

This place is just okay. We stopped in just after 2PM and the cashier was nice enough to still ring us up for the lunch special. They have a decent beer offering, but the staff didn’t seem to know much about any of the choices. The pizza looks and tastes like it’s been sitting out for a while, but in the end, even bad pizza is pretty good.

This spot is the 1! After trying a few other prominent pizza establishments, we finally found our pizza spot! The service/staff were awesome, the pizza was delicious but those ice cream sandwiches though! The thin crust and fresh ingredients made hot lips pizza stand out. Love this place now!

I love this pizza place!!! They have vegan options which is amazing. They also use FiveStar which is an awesome rewards program. I spent $ 3.50 on a slice of vegan pizza and immediately got a reward for a free drink on my next purchase.

Dry bland pizza that is aggressively average and over priced. Crust is usually to hard and they don’t use enough sauce.

Nice friendly service. Great pizzas too. I only wish they served vodka along with beer instead of beer only. Other then that way way way good

Good, solid pizza with great flavor options, including two vegan flavors! I ordered a slice of vegetable with feta and my husband got classic pepperoni. Great thin, crispy crust — despite the fact that it’s not made to order. I ordered a glass of cabernet with really made the whole meal. They have a lovely outdoor patio area secluded by a pretty wall of vines and greenery. Nice place to grab lunch and decompress.

During a food tour of Portland, we had a sampling of HOTLIPS Pizza. Our guide went in and gave us all a piece of the Waldorf pizza. The crust had a nice flavor and the pizza surpassed my expectations. The ingredients were high quality and it just really works. Bonus point for having their ovens, which heats the building, contribute to the building’s greenness.

I really like Hotlips — their crust gets a nice crunchiness on the bottom, while still being tender and yummy. There is ALWAYS vegetarian as well as vegan options — all available by the slice, or order a whole pie if you like. They have various sizes, including their catering size(which I actually ordered for my wedding rehearsal dinner) which I highly recommend. My only complaint, is that sometimes, when they are busy — they’ll take your slice(s) out of the oven rather quickly, and they aren’t always hot. This doesn’t always happen, but it’s a drag to get lukewarm slices. Still I’ll eat it cold if I have to — very tasty indeed.

We love Hotlips! At first glance, it looks like a massive chain pizza shop, but don’t judge a book by it’s cover. They have delicious gourmet pizza and a lot of fresh ingredients and healthy options(whole wheat crust, etc.). We also love their unique daily specials with really fun and creative flavors. They deliver in the Northwest, which is a huge plus for us — We ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza and loved it! The only downside is that prices are high. Granted, the pizza’s are huge and four of us couldn’t finish a large, but a large pizza for $ 30+ is pretty pricey for Portland!

Some times the last thing you want to do is go out to a sit down dinner after a long day at the office while on the road. While fast food is maybe an option for many, for one who has to eat gluten free, finding a quick and safe GF dining option can be like finding a needle in a hay stack. Hotlips does make a pretty good Gluten Free pizza. Their rice based pizza cooks and tastes good. Unlike most GF offerings that I have had, it actually has taste and wasn’t soggy or gooey. While Hotlips didn’t have a separate area for prepping gluten free pizza’s. They were extremely careful and used clean cooking utensils and new gloves. Thankfully, they do place the pizza in a small tin when sending it into the oven to help reduce the risk of cross contamination. The price of a gluten free pizza is pretty fair. There is a built in upcharge, as it is only avalible in a 12″ pie, but you are charged the 13″ pie, but this is an extremely common practice at most restaurants when ordering GF food. Overall, it was a good quick and safe gf meal, and if I happen to be back in this part of the Portland area, I would order from them again.
