Hawthorne Strip

The girls were friendly but I wasn’t into them. One of the girls dancing I gave her money because I felt sorry for her. Some of the girls were ok. This place seems to attract a older crowd. I didn’t have any fun at this place and just wanted to leave. I might go back when I am in my 60s

I love this place! The ladies are sexy and sweet. Very alternative looking and know how to have a conversation. It’s the perfect club if you like to ease into your surroundings before being bombarded for lap dances. They have burlesque nights every third Wednesday of the month and that’s not something to be missed. The bar has a cozy vibe to it with the length of the bar spanning the entire front of the club. The stage, while tucked away in the corner is large enough for the ladies to do their stuff. They have a good sized, covered back patio for smoking and if you’re lucky, one of the ladies will join you back there. They also have a pool table that you may be able to convince one of the ladies to play with you. The lap dance rooms are a good size with comfortable seating and sexy red lighting that sets the perfect mood. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends. Don’t be confused by the name. While it’s called «Hawthorne Strip» it’s located on Powell as the old location used to be on Hawthorne. Make sure you tip the ladies and you’ll have a great time.

This place IS small with a bar and a stage. The girls are accessible and easy going. The bar tender was occupied with talking to the girls that worked there but was friendly when she noticed that you needed a refill. The patrons were… okay. Not my favorite place to go for adult entertainment in PDX.

Seems like a small club from the outside, but everyone inside is a bigger than life personality. I’ve only met a few of the ladies, but I’ve come to enjoy everyone’s company. Hijinx: sexy, adorable, and fun. Indie: beautiful, talented and all around nice! Fatima, sexy and self-confident…she knows what she’s doing! Sari… the quiet yet wise (almost like a den mother) looking out for everyone’s best interest, while still being a sexy little kitten. Bartender (Mary?)…beautiful and polite and just a pleasure to be around. You ladies make the world go round, keep staying confident, sexy, and empowering! I admire and revere the work you put in. Lovely ladies!

I was a fan of the old Hawthorne Strip when it was actually on Hawthorne. When I heard that it had moved, I had to check the new venue out. It’s definitely a very different vibe. It has parking, for one thing, which wasn’t necessary for the old place but is a pro for this one — not very walkable. Inside, it’s much larger — it can even fit a pool table. There’s a sizable bar and plenty of seating. The bartender was very friendly. There’s a food menu now, but the food isn’t worth it. The drinks are still solid.
The dancer’s stage is still tiny and tucked away in a corner, but now it seems almost like an afterthought, rather than the main draw. There were fewer patrons crowding the rack than I remembered at the old place — in fact, the whole place was almost empty (it was near 1 AM, but it was a Saturday). I hope that Hawthorne Strip grows into its new home and does well. I’ll check in on it the next time I’m in Portland.

Went to this club late night, ended up getting shit thrown at my truck when I was driving away by some cock suckers in the parking lot. I’ll never be be back. Sketch as fuck, fuck this place.

While the place, the vibe, and of course, the girls, are fresh in mind, let me start this review. Eden (I think), Emma and Fatima are the loveliest and friendliest dancers you could ask for! Fatima knew the man I was there with, so the conversation was super fun and flirty. I know Emma it turns out, she’s a super cutie pie, but I would never have imagined how lovely she would be to watch dance. I guess it’s just not the first thing I think of… what would they look like on a pole? Not even the guys… Not even the acrobats. ok maybe the acrobats. Red-​headed Eden is also quite sweet and has an awesome vintage vibe going on.
My first time here, apparently, it used to be somewhere else… On Hawthorne, I’m guessing. I had never been there either, sad to say. But this place was just fine. Comfortable. Decent drinks. Not too big or too small. Plenty of parking. Private rooms and stuff.
So — all in all, this place is pretty cool and the girls are even cooler. I will return!
PS — got my first lap dance… yup. Loved it. Check that one off the list. Thank you David and Fatima!

Was here on a Monday night to shoot some pool and drink some beers, you know, blue blooded American activities. Atmosphere was typical peeler-​esque, girls were all nice and the bartender was a doll. Would recommend and go back.
